Lawyer life
Kim Kardashian is one step closer to becoming a lawyer. On Dec. 13, the reality TV star and SKIMS founder announced that after failing the "baby bar" exam on three previous attempts, she's now passed. In a long Instagram announcement, the beauty mogul noted how proud she was that she passed the test, which is given to first-year law students who are not studying at State Bar-accredited schools. The test is notoriously hard to pass. "For anyone who doesn't know my law school journey, know this wasn't easy or handed to me. I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!! (I did have COVID on the 3rd try w a 104 fever but I'm not making excuses)," she wrote. "I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route but it was my only option and it feels so so sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals." She went on to thank the attorneys she's apprenticed with since 2018 and others, including her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian, who she said "would be so proud" to see her progress. "Bottom line is don't ever give up even when you are holding on by a thread, you can do it!!!!!" Kim added.
Serious accusations
Chris Noth has vehemently denied allegations that he sexually assaulted three women who came forward with troubling claims in mid-December. In a story published by The Hollywood Reporter on Dec. 16, one woman claimed that the "Sex and the City" actor raped her in 2004 when she was in his apartment. Another woman alleged to THR that she was assaulted in his apartment in 2015. On Dec. 17, the Daily Beast published a report featuring a third woman who alleged the star sexually assaulted her at the New York City restaurant where she worked in 2010 when she was 18. After the first two bombshell claims, Chris, who famously played Mr. Big on the HBO series and the reboot "And Just Like That…," said, "The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It's difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don't know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women." After the report surfaced, fitness company Peloton pulled down a recent viral ad it did with Chris. And after the third allegation surfaced, a rep for the actor told People magazine, "The story is a complete fabrication, and the alleged accounts detailed throughout read like a piece of bad fiction. As Chris stated yesterday, he has and would never cross that line." Chris's agent, A3 Artists Agency, confirmed to People they dropped him as a client on Dec. 17.

This week, "Million Dollar Listing: New York" star Tyler Whitman opened up about his 200-pound weight loss. In an essay published by Today.com on Dec. 10, the reality TV star recalled being at a Phish concert in December 2015 when he suddenly felt faint. "That year, I had hit rock bottom. It was the culmination of a lifetime of diets and the resulting shame when they didn't work. I was a successful real estate agent who was too ashamed to see my clients in person anymore," he wrote. Tyler said he tried every diet out there. In the end, he had gastric sleeve weight loss surgery. Between the surgery, regular exercise and a healthy diet, Tyler has kept the weight off. He now logs all of his food to keep himself accountable. "You know those before-and-after photos of people who have lost a lot of weight? Instead of before and after, I prefer to say past and present — because it's not as though the work is done," he wrote. "This transformation is something I have to show up for and do work for every day."
