Denise Richards, daughter Sami say 'I love you' after family drama
Denise Richards and her daughter, Sami Sheen, could be on a path to healing their relationship, which the former "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star recently described as "strained." The mother-daughter pair exchanged loving words on Instagram on March 9 as Sami celebrated her 18th birthday. "In a blink of an eye you're 18…. !!!! Happy Birthday my beautiful Sami. I love you so much," Denise wrote alongside photos of Sami. "Privately many more words to share with you," she continued. "I love you unconditionally and I am very blessed & grateful to be your mom. And Nana is looking down celebrating with you🎂I love you my sweet Sami💗 Happy 18th Birthday!🎉🎂🎊🎁😘." Sami quickly replied in the comments, telling Denise, "Thank you so much mom i love you too ❤️❤️," then shared Denise's post on her Instagram Story. The sweet back-and-forth marks a positive change in for the mother-daughter pair in the wake of Sami's social media allegations about her mom. Before moving in with her dad, Charlie Sheen, full-time, Sami called Denise's home a "h*** house." Speaking to Jeff Lewis on his SiriusXM show in February, Denise said she's had "a strained relationship" with Sami since she moved to Charlie's. "It's very difficult. I know we'll get back to where we were eventually but right now, it is strained," Denise said at the time. She was also asked if she'd prefer Sami to move back into her house. "Obviously I would love for her to live with me. She lived with me all these years," Denise said. "But I think it's very difficult raising teenagers now and especially in Los Angeles when there's access to everything. We didn't grow up with Postmates and Uber where you have everything that you want. There are certain rules and I enforce them. And [at her dad's] there's different rules at that house and that's OK."

'Nick Cannon Show' canceled after just six months
Nick Cannon's eponymous daytime talk show is getting the boot from FOX after just six months, due to low ratings. Deadline reported on March 10 that Nick's program "ranks as the lowest-rated single-host daytime syndicated talk show this season" and confirmed the news with the show's production company, Debmar-Mercury, whose co-presidents said in a statement that they'd considered "various options" for the future of the show before making "the difficult business decision to end production on 'Nick Cannon.'" Nick addressed the news during his March 10 show as well. "This is show business," he said. "As a businessman, I know that as much fun as we have on the show, I know that the business is the whole thing that makes it operate." He added, "This has been a dream come true for me to be able to do this for you each and every day." Earlier this year, the host's personal and family life became central to the show as he spoke candidly about the death of his young son, Zen, whom he welcomed with Alyssa Scott, and announced that he was expecting an eighth child with Brie Tiesi. At one point, he also apologized for devoting time to both children on the same episode. The "Nick Cannon Show" was previously slated to go on hiatus for five weeks this spring so Nick could work on projects including "The Masked Singer" and "Wild 'N Out." Instead, it will end after airing its final episodes in May.

Grimes talks 'fluid' Elon Musk romance, confirms second child — then announces they've split
In a new Vanity Fair cover story published on March 10, singer and visual artist Grimes shared new insight into her unconventional relationship with Elon Musk and revealed they recently welcomed a second child together. A few hours after the story surfaced online, however, she tweeted that she and the Tesla exec have split since the interview. "Me and E have broken up again since the writing of this article haha," Grimes posted, "but he's my best friend and the love of my life, and my life and art are forever dedicated to The Mission now, I think Devin wrote that part of the story rly well. Sique – peace out." In the Vanity Fair piece, Grimes was asked if she and Elon were "still together." She admitted it was more complicated than that. "There's no real word for it," she said of their relationship. "I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we're very fluid. We live in separate houses. We're best friends. We see each other all the time …. We just have our own thing going on, and I don't expect other people to understand it." Asked if they're happy with the current arrangement, Grimes said, "Yeah. This is the best it's ever been … We just need to be free." She went on to confirm that despite the unorthodox setup, they hoped to have more children. "We've always wanted at least three or four," Grimes said. The interview also features plenty of discussion about how Grimes' involvement with the man behind SpaceX and its plan to colonize Mars has turned some fans against her. Still, she was hopeful she and Elon and their kids — daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, nicknamed "Y," and son X Æ A-12 Musk, aka "X" — could someday share a life together. On Mars, of course.

Kanye West attacks Pete Davidson in yet another 'Eazy' video
Kanye West's not quite done making violent "art" about his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian's new boyfriend. After releasing a video for "Eazy" with The Game in which he kidnaps a claymation Pete Davidson and buries him alive, the rapper released a second video for the track — a collaboration with The Game — that sees an animated skinned monkey beating up a person with a blurred-out face. The victim's sweatshirt reads "SKETE," Ye's name for Kim Kardashian's love interest. The moment is brief, but surfaces as Kanye raps lyrics like "so I can beat Pete Davidson's a**." Kanye previously removed the first video from Instagram amid backlash over the violent imagery, though it's still garnering plenty of views on YouTube. In another post, he defended himself, writing, among other things, "Art is protected as freedom of speech," while sharing poems called "DIVORCE" and, later, "DEAD." Though most of the comments on the posts have praised Kanye, Newsweek noticed a number of users were turning against the rapper. "We're rebranding abuse as art now," user laurahesp replied on one Instagram post. Said user Johannadesantis: "There's no mystery or magic to it, you're straight up bullying Pete Davidson and harassing your ex wife because you didn't get your way. That's not being a 'genius' or 'creative.' That's just being straight up immature and dumb …" Kim — who was declared legally single last week after telling the court she was suffering "emotional distress" from Kanye's habit of using social media to air "misinformation" about their divorce and four kids — had not commented publicly on the videos as of March 10. A source told People earlier this week Pete was staying "calm and cool" despite the violent posts and videos.
Khloe Kardashian is reportedly 'open to dating soon'
In a recent interview with Variety, Khloe Kardashian said she tries to "spread positivity" on social media to counter the "hate and negativity" that so often comes her way. So is she ready to wade back into the dating pool with her positive attitude? Maybe. An insider tells Entertainment Tonight, "Khloe is in the healthiest space she has been in, in a long time. She is somewhat open to getting back out there and dating again, but her main focus right now is staying on the track she's on and focusing on [her daughter] True." Khloe also confirmed to Variety that while it's "not fun" to discuss the paternity and cheating scandal True's dad, Tristan Thompson, recently caught her up in, she will deal with aspects of it on the family's upcoming Hulu show, "The Kardashians." In the meantime, ET's source says Khloe's sisters are "encouraging her and urging her to start dating again, but Khloe is personally not ready for that type of commitment right now." According to the insider, Kim Kardashian wants Khloe to join her and Pete Davidson on a double date, while Kourtney Kardashian wants to set Khloe up with a friend of her fiance, Travis Barker. "Khloe is open to dating soon and eventually wants to be in love again, but she is happy being single and with True for now," the source adds. "She looks amazing and feels amazing and is happy just chilling for a bit."
Jennifer Lopez teams up with Richard Branson's adults-only cruise line
Jennifer Lopez is now the Chief Entertainment and Lifestyle Officer for Richard Branson's adult-only cruise line. Virgin Voyages announced this week that they've partnered with JLo as a both an investor and a curator for the brand's "well-being and fitness" components, plus "design collaborations and entertainment co-creations," according to a press release excerpted by People. "My artistic and social mission is to empower, inspire and entertain," Jennifer said in a statement. "Any opportunity that I get to combine all these attributes into a partnership and collaboration is exciting for me. I admire Sir Richard and all he has built. I am inspired by Virgin Voyages' dedication to creating irresistible experiences and focus on well-being, which all fits perfectly with my own lifestyle and brand ethos." In a gushing statement of his own, Richard said he wants the singer and actress to help "shape the future of travel on the high seas," adding that he admires her "as an artist, as an entrepreneur and as a person." In a video announcing the partnership, the Virgin mogul rather awkwardly took a stab at a new title for Jen — complete with its own lyric from one of her hits. "Don't be fooled by the ship that I got," he sang. "I am now Jenny. Jenny from the dock."
Jeff Zucker to receive $10M in CNN exit after failing to disclose romance
Despite his ignominious exit from CNN, the news network's former president Jeff Zucker will reportedly walk away from his job with a cool $10 mil. Jeff announced he was resigning in February because he'd failed to disclose a romantic relationship with then-CNN chief marketing officer Allison Gollust — the same relationship Katie Couric noticed when she worked with Jeff at NBC. It seems the terms of his departure won't do too much harm to his bank account, though. On March 9, Deadline reported Jeff will receive "around $10 million" from CNN's parent company, WarnerMedia, and has agreed not to sue over his ouster as part of his exit deal. "I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn't," Jeff said in a statement about his resignation. "I was wrong." In her memoir, Katie claimed Jeff worked to bring Allison on board despite there not being "a role for her." She also recalled she and others eventually noticed the two were inseparable. "I've wondered about the nature of their relationship, but I do know, as I wrote in my memoir 'Going There,' that it made me uncomfortable," Katie wrote in her newsletter in early February. "It seems their colleagues and the media at large turned a blind eye to inappropriate behavior." According to Deadline, Allison has also now left CNN. Sources told the outlet she was paid $1 million.
