New details about Beyonce and JAY-Z's $120M mansion in Bel Air
One day after their kid-free sushi date, Beyonce and JAY-Z stepped out in Los Angeles together again this week. Dressed in workout clothes, Jay was spotted heading out of the couple's chauffeured car while a smiling Beyonce, clad in a white Ivy Park hat, peeked out from the backseat. According to photographers, the couple also had their daughter Blue Ivy Carter with them but appeared to have left newborn twins Rumi and Sir at home for the day. The family of five has mostly laid low since the twins' arrival in June — and with good reason. In addition to juggling the needs of their three kids, Beyonce and JAY-Z have been busy getting a new $120 million house into escrow. E! News reports the couple will soon move out of their $400,000-a-month rental in Malibu and into their new, 30,000 square foot, Bel Air-area digs. The super-private, glass and marble-heavy mansion boasts eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and four pools, including one pool located on the roof by the house's private helipad. Downstairs, the amenities include a 15-car garage, an in-house spa and fitness center with a 12-person whirlpool and a basketball court. Details like a "set of floating trees," custom made sinks from Italy, Calcutta marble and winding staircase softened with leather-covered steps add to the home's overall luxury. Bey and Jay have been shopping for a home in Los Angeles since last year; they reportedly made the $120 million bid on the Bel Air house, which was listed for $135 million, in the spring.

Justin Bieber makes first appearance since calling off tour
Justin Bieber made his first public appearance since canceling his Purpose tour in Los Angeles on Thursday, Aug. 3, when he headed to Maxfield for a party celebrating the new Hanes x Karla line. Inspired in large part by stylist Karla Welch's work on custom white T-shirts for the Biebs' Believe tour, the collection features seven tees and tank tops, according to Teen Vogue. Justin, along with Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber, both appear in campaigns for the for shirts. Justin's Hanes x Karla ads, however, may be the only place fans will see him in the near future. After the singer announced he was axing the rest of his tour, he explained why he needed to take some time off. "Learning and growing hasn't always been easy but knowing I im [sic] not alone has kept me going," he wrote on social media on Wednesday, Aug. 2. "I have let my insecurities get the best of me at times. I let my broken relationships dictate the way I acted toward people and the way I treated them! i let bitterness, jealously and fear run my life," he continued. After a shoutout to the people he said have helped remind him who he and who he wants to be, he wrote that he needed to take a break so that he could ensure his longevity as an artist. "Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE," he wrote. "I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my mind heart and soul to be sustainable so that I can be the man I want to be, the husband I eventually want to be and the father I want to be."

'American Idol' producer says Katy Perry's $25M salary isn't that crazy
Katy Perry is well worth her $25 million "American Idol" salary. That's the message producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz, the CEO of FremantleMedia North America, gave The Hollywood Reporter this week. Katy's massive fee for appearing as a judge on the show raised more than a few eyebrows when TMZ reported the figure earlier this year. But Cecile says Katy has much to gain from her work on the rebooted" Idol" as the show has to gain from hiring her. She also insists the salary isn't as crazy as some have made it out to be. "The show is not more expensive than its competitors in the genre. If other networks can make it work on similar properties, then there's no reason why ABC couldn't," she said. "This notion that the show [costs] a lot more than any other is completely untrue. We know that because we've made other shows in other genres. ABC wouldn't order something that didn't work for them financially." Speaking of financial deals, Ryan Seacrest, who is slated to return as the show's host, didn't sign on as quickly as most would have expected. Some reports claimed he pushed hard in the negotiations because he "was unhappy" when he learned what Katy would be earning. Cecile says getting Ryan was "always going to happen" though. "It's hard for Ryan. He's on the East Coast now and had to figure out how to make it work, but he's the hardest-working man in show business, so there will be some flying back and forth," she told THR. "But, as I said, it was always going to happen. He's the face of 'Idol.'"

Kylie Jenner reveals she feels like an outcast
In a sneak peek for Kylie Jenner's new show, "Life of Kylie," the reality star Facetimes the mom of a fan named Albert. It seems Albert has been "crying" and "devastated" that he can't get anyone to go to the prom with him. That's when Kylie tells Albert's mom she plans to surprise him and go as his date. "I have a soft spot for the outcast because I was the outcast I guess in a lot of ways growing up. And I still feel like an outcast in different ways now because I can't relate to a lot of people so it's like this little world. I do feel like an outcast," Kylie says (via E! News). "Just seeing Albert's mom and the emotion she has for her son, I don't know it's just not cool. Kids are mean these days and it's not right to treat people like that." The Kylie-centric spinoff "Life of Kylie" premieres on E! on Sunday, Aug. 6.

Chrissy Teigen opens up about going on tour with John Legend and Luna
When John Legend hit the road for his Darkness and Light tour, his wife Chrissy Teigen and their daughter Luna were by his side, giving him the chance to enjoy a little family time during the 53-city jaunt. "We never thought of not bringing her with us," Chrissy recently told Us Weekly. "In each city, we try and get an AirBnb, so we can cook and have a normal life." As normal as driving around on a bus constantly can be, anyway. Chrissy admits that while "Luna loves her car seat" and pointing to things like trees as they drive, Chrissy is not a fan of taking the 1-year-old on a plane. "We try to avoid it," Chrissy said. "She just did a long flight from Bali and nailed it — on the way home. On the way there, I was going to have a panic attack. Before I had kids, I was hyperaware of them crying. So I feel like I know when it's too loud. I get up and apologize. But kids are going to be kids. They're going to scream. I'm never going to be the parent pretending my kid is not doing that." When the family gets to their destination each time, Chrissy likes doing regular tourist activities with Luna but she says taking her to John's concerts isn't easy: "It can be too much for her. She gets pretty overwhelmed. We tend to stay in the soundboard. And it's also bedtime — she's only seen a few shows." Asked if Luna takes after her mom more or her dad, Chrissy assured the mag, "Me!" adding, "She's sassy. We team up against John. He likes that she's a strong young girl. She's also very sweet and caring. If she sees somebody hurt, she's the first to run over."
Robert Pattinson shares his NSFW dog story with Jimmy Kimmel
In the new film "Good Time," Robert Pattinson plays a scruffy bank robber trying to get his mentally disabled brother out of prison. The shot Jimmy Kimmel showed from the movie when Robert stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" this week had a different focus, though. After the audience saw a picture of Robert lying in a dog cage, he shared a story about the dog that probably almost didn't make it on the air. "Oh, God! I don't even know if I can say this. There are a lot of things in this movie which really cross the line of legality," he said (via E! News). "Like, it's not even on the line. It's way beyond the line." Robert went on to explain that his character in the film "has this affinity with dogs; he thinks he is a dog in a previous life and he thinks he has control over animals." The scene Jimmy shared, it turns out, involved Connie sleeping in a cage with a huge dog — and getting, well, some carnal knowledge of the pooch. The director encouraged Robert to actually touch the dog as the scene mandated but Robert obviously felt awkward about that. "And the dog's owner was like, 'Well, he's a breeder. I mean, you can …" In the end, Rob declined to touch any dog anatomy and the producers agreed to fake it. "Wow, Hollywood is a great place," Jimmy joked. "It really is." Laughing, Rob added, "But, it was fun. It will be on the DVD extras."
Is Blac Chyna going into the music business?
Blac Chyna's post-Rob Kardashian life could involve a new career. She's even met with reps from Capitol Records and set up meetings with other labels in Los Angeles, according to the website. Seems Nicki, whom she shot a Yo Gotti music video with recently, has been Chyna's inspiration.
Debra Messing says 'Will & Grace' wouldn't have come back without Trump/Clinton campaigns
Back in September, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally, Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes starred in a viral video that imagined the "Will & Grace" crew's reaction to the Donald Trump/Hillary Clinton campaigns. It was that scene that paved the way for "Will & Grace" to return on NBC this fall. "The campaign season between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton absolutely was the catalyst for us coming back," Debra told an audience at at the Television Critics Association press tour in Los Angeles on Thursday, Aug. 3, according to Us Weekly. "If that election did not happen and it was a different kind of campaign season, we could not be here right now. Just doing that made us realize that there is a kind of magical synergy between the four of us that just is there. And the writing was just so smart and funny and relevant. I think that gave us all the confidence to say, 'OK, will this work in everyone's lives? And if it does, by all means, let's dive in together.'" That dive turned out to be fruitful. This week, NBC announced the reboot has already gotten a green light for a second season. Asked if she expected that, Debra admitted she did not. "Never, never in a zillion years," she said. "I always said we can't do anything until we're in our 70s and we can do the geriatric version of 'Will & Grace' and I'm in for that. 'Golden Girls' is genius and I could see us doing that." She added: "We really are like brothers and sisters. We can't keep our hands off of each other. We are the happiest when we are totally inappropriate with each other and we make each other giggle, and I think that is the thing that I am looking forward to the most."
Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook wrap up their family vacation in Australia
Looking utterly blissed out in her boyfriend Karl Cook's arms, Kaley Cuoco shared a photo from the end of her Australian vacation with Karl and his family on Aug. 3, 2017. "We didn't have any fun at all on this trip 🇦🇺✈️✨ thank you Cook family for another trip of a lifetime … and thank you @mrtankcook for being you ❤️," Kaley captioned the adorable shot. Other pics on Kaleu and Karl's Instagrams showed the couple hiking in the Outback with Karl's parents and sister, meeting a camel, catching an Australian football game and enjoying a few stolen romantic moments together. The "Big Bang" star and Karl, a professional horseback rider, went public with their relationship last spring.
