Spring is in the air, so it's time to round up the best and worst fashion moments of the month! Let's get to April's crop of duds and dazzlers…
This color! Brie Larson selected a stunning blue Jason Wu design to wear to the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Los Angeles on April 15. We fell hard for the royal blue shade as well as the surprising mix of spaghetti straps, a fitted bodice and a pleated, gathered detail at the waist. Strappy sandals from Stuart Weitzman rounded out this look.

It's giving… matronly "I Dream of Jeannie'! Gwyneth Paltrow attended The Daily Front Row's Seventh Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards in Beverly Hills on April 24 in this getup from her own brand, G. Label by goop. The two-piece look had an interesting silhouette — a cropped turtleneck with dramatic sheer sleeves and a train detail paired with wide-legged trousers — but that dull beige color is where things went wrong.

We loved the springy pastel shade and the way she opted to pair it with a dark lip, adding a bit of edge.

Priyanka Chopra opted for a bold monochromatic purple look while heading out to dinner in London on April 12. The star selected a low-cut, midi-length frock by Stine Goya and paired it with matching knee-high leather boots by Gia Borghini. While we would have loved this purple statement ensemble on its own, adding a brown fur coat and an equally fuzzy golden bag lost us.

Yikes! Though we always appreciate a good pop of color on a red carpet, we weren't crazy about the Cont Tri getup that Kristen Bell wore to the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Los Angeles on April 15. The sleeveless jumpsuit included a one-sided cape detail that threw off the balance of the ensemble as it flowed all the way to the ground.

Perhaps he's been inspired by Barbie? Ryan Gosling attended the TAG Heuer Carrera 60th Anniversary Party in London on April 20 with a pop of bubblegum pink peeking out of his suit. Tousled hair and brown dress shoes completed this refreshing menswear moment.

The bubblegum pink frock was a fitting choice for the TAG Heuer Carrera 60th Anniversary Party in London on April 20 (and even matched Ryan Gosling's look!). Rachel Brosnahan brought the spirit of the 2000s to the Clarins Precious dinner in New York City on April 6, selecting this all-denim getup by Magda Butrym for the occasion. The two-piece look included a cropped spaghetti-strap tank top and a split half-mini, half-floor-length skirt embellished with a flower made of the same fabric. She completed the unique getup with dark brown pointy-toe pumps — perhaps the only part of the ensemble that didn't feel dated.
