Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in mid-May 2021, starting with this sad reveal…During an interview with "Extra" that debuted online on May 17, Jana Kramer stopped short of revealing how exactly Mike Caussin strayed from their marriage, though she confirmed his online behavior was partially to blame for their recent split. "When you found out he was unfaithful, is that like the DMs and things like that? Is that cellphone stuff and that kind of trail?" asked host Billy Bush. Replied the singer-actress, "That and some more. … Let's just say it was bad enough that I had no choice [but to leave]." She added of her estranged husband, "I think he's at peace cause he knew that if something happened — if this one thing happened — he knew that I was gone. So he made his bed." Meanwhile, multiple media outlets reported on May 19 that Jana has agreed to fork over $592,400 to the former professional football player as a divorce settlement. On the May 12 episode of the "Hollywood Raw" podcast, Audrina Patridge finally confirmed longstanding rumors that she once dated Chris Pine. They met at an award show in Las Vegas about a decade ago, she revealed. "He came up to me and introduced himself to me and gave me his number, and all the girls were kicking me under the table like, 'Oh my God, you don't know who that is?' I'm like, 'No.' They're like, 'That's Chris Pine.' I was like, 'Oh, he's hot,'" she recalled, adding that they went out "more than a few times" but ultimately discovered they didn't have enough in common to make a relationship work. Explained the reality star, "I was filming 'The Hills' all the time and his career was taking off and he didn't like the whole paparazzi side of it. And that was my life: going out. And I was followed by paparazzi. So being on 'The Hills,' our lives [were] completely opposite and just so different. … He was more a real actor — like a theater actor — and loved to read books and jazz music and didn't really like to go out to clubs or anything like that. And at that time in my life, that's all I was doing was going out to clubs because we were filming ['The Hills'] all the time." She went on to call him "a nice guy," "very charming" and a "gentleman." She then revealed they shared a smooch during a dinner date at an Italian restaurant in Los Angeles … where the "Star Trek" star noshed on squid ink pasta that turned his lips black. "I remember he was eating it, and he had black on his lips when he licked them. He's like, 'You're so beautiful. Can I kiss you?' And I was like, 'OK.' So I kissed him with the black ink. Whatever. I didn't care. I'll never forget that. It was a great kiss!" she recalled. They "kept in touch for a little bit" after that but haven't seen each other "in so long," she said. Audrina also noted on the podcast that she's currently single and hasn't dated anyone since she went out with Sean Stewart in late 2020.

The couple and both families couldn't be happier." The duo got engaged in late 2020 after less than a year of coupledom.

Over the weekend of May 15, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler's 15-year-old daughter, Alabama Barker, made headlines when she took to her Instagram Story to share a screenshot of a DM from the former pageant queen claiming that she "left Travis because he was emotionally abusive." (It's unclear who Shanna was messaging or how Alabama got ahold of the screenshot.) After accusing the blink-182 drummer of alienating her from their children, Shanna purportedly wrote that she "divorced Travis" in 2008 because she "caught him having an affair with Kim." In case there were any doubts she was talking about Kim Kardashian, she added, "Now he's in love with her sister. It's all gross. I'm not the bad guy!" Travis — who previously fessed up to having a crush on Kim early in their friendship — has been dating her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, since early 2021. On May 18, Shanna doubled down on her allegations, telling Us Weekly, "I divorced my ex because I saw them — I caught them having an affair. … Someone sent me all their [text] conversations, and I'm also close friends with people who were there while things were happening. … I received all the text messages and the other third parties kind of let me know. It's something I was well aware of." She then claimed Travis also had an affair with Paris Hilton, who was "best friends" with Kim at the time. "We were working on our marriage and trying to heal through that affair, that infidelity," she said, adding that she even asked Travis not to work with Kim because of her proximity to Paris. Amid Shanna's affair allegations, an old Instagram Story post from Aubrey O'Day resurfaced: In July 2020, the Danity Kane singer claimed that Kim and Travis were "hooking up" back when she used to be "bffs" with the reality star. (The two women were frequently photographed together in 2007 and 2008. Kim was also seen with Travis around that time.) According to a Page Six source, however, Travis and Kim "never had a romantic relationship" and were simply "friends who met through Paris Hilton," which is "also how Kourtney and Travis were introduced." Said a second Page Six source, "It's a shame that [Shanna] continues to spread lies because she is clearly bitter her ex is happy and has moved on." As for Travis's previous comments about having a crush on Kim — "I couldn't keep my eyes off Kim!" he gushed back in 2015 — a third Page Six source maintained he was simply "joking" at the time. "Anyone who is close to them has always known that Travis has been in love with Kourtney for forever [not Kim]," said the source. "They are madly in love and best of friends. Everyone in their circle couldn't be happier for them. … There is nothing weird or any drama here." In recent weeks, Shanna has become increasingly critical of Travis's relationship with Kourtney.

On May 12, E! News reported that, according to a source, Kourtney Kardashian and former long-term partner Scott Disick "have a tense relationship right now primarily because he's been focusing on his new life in Miami" while she's "getting serious" with her new boyfriend, Travis Barker. "They are barely speaking. It's hard for him to see Kourtney in love with someone else," said the source, adding that the former couple, who share three children, "aren't fighting by any means" but "haven't spent much time together as a family recently." Their relationship has simply "changed" in recent months. "Scott will always be in Kourtney's life, it's just a different dynamic right now," explained the insider. "Scott wished Kourtney a happy Mother's Day privately but is really distancing himself. He doesn't want to interfere with her relationship. They do connect about the kids often but that's about the extent of it currently." Said an "Entertainment Tonight" source, "[Scott] has come to terms with the fact that Kourtney and Travis are serious and has accepted it. He previously had high hopes that Kourtney and him might get back together one day, but he's understanding of the situation and is off living his own life and doing his own thing with Amelia [Gray Hamlin]." Speaking of Amelia… She and Scott, who were first linked late last year, are "doing well," according to a second "ET" source. "Amelia is mature for her age, and Scott and her [get] along great and things are easy," said the source, noting that the 37-year-old father of three is the teen model's "first serious boyfriend." Added the insider, "She's really into him. She likes to be cute with him and definitely has a big 'crush' on him."

"Entertainment Tonight" reported on May 12 that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are already thinking long-term: "Getting engaged and married one day has definitely been a topic of conversation between [them]. Travis would absolutely love to tie the knot with Kourtney, but Kourtney hasn't been sure that's the step she wants to take in their relationship right now. She is extraordinarily happy and doesn't feel the need or want the pressure of getting married," said a source. "There are a lot of other factors that concern her if they were to take their relationship to that next level, one of them being Scott [Disick] and more importantly, her kids and what that adjustment would mean for them. … It could be a lot to process, even though everyone sees that Kourtney is undeniably in love with Travis. Kourtney sees herself loving this moment and is just taking everything one day at a time and enjoying their time together." Continued the insider, "Travis makes Kourtney laugh uncontrollably and she loves that he always brings a smile to her face. She also really loves that Travis is such a great, hands-on dad. Travis loves that Kourtney has such an entrepreneurial spirit and that she is a strong, independent mom. They feel like they're the perfect match." The insider added that Kourtney's family "really loves Travis and holds him in high regard." Said the source of the blink-182 drummer, "He has known the family for quite some time and they have always adored him, but what is most important and what they appreciate the most, is how he takes such great care of Kourtney and always has her best interest in mind." Echoed a second "ET" source, "Kourtney and Travis are in love and have talked about their future and the possibility of getting engaged and married. … Kourtney hasn't felt this strongly about anyone in a while and can see a forever with Travis. … Although the couple hasn't been together for a while, they've known each other for years and have a strong connection. Kourtney's family hasn't seen her this happy in a while and they love Travis. [Their] kids get along great and that has made things much easier for them."
People magazine reported on May 19 that, according to a source, Jennifer Lopez is "very excited about how things are going" with Ben Affleck. They're reportedly "in touch every day" and "making plans to see each other" again as they spend time on opposite coasts. (She's currently in Miami while he's Los Angeles-based.) "Ben reached out to Jennifer as a friend. He was single and thought she might be single too," said the source, adding that they "connected right away" once they started communicating again, which "made them both feel happy." Said an Us Weekly source of the reconciliation, "Jen got back in touch with Ben after it became apparent to her that things with Alex [Rodriguez] weren't working anymore. They'd already sounded each other out about it from afar. … She [also] made it very plain to their mutual friends that she was open to getting back in touch." J.Lo and Ben exchanged "flirty phone calls and texts" after she and A-Rod started "figuring out the best way to split." Said the source, "There wasn't any overlap, really. Jen was very intent on parting ways amicably with Alex and being respectful to him." Continued the insider, "As soon as [Jennifer] and Ben started talking again, it became very clear to both of them that the old magic and special connection was still there. Then when they met up again all bets were off." They're now "making up for lost time." Said the source, "The attraction is hot, and that goes for both of them. Ben is just in awe of how beautiful Jen still is, both inside and out. He sees how she's grown as a person, and the way in which she's taken care of her body totally blows his mind."

"Entertainment Tonight" reported on May 13 that, according to a source, Machine Gun Kelly would marry his girlfriend of a year, Megan Fox, "in a heartbeat." Although the mother of three is "definitely in love" with the actor-musician, she's "having a great time with where things are at now" and is in no rush to wed. "She really takes her kids into consideration and knows that taking that next step would be a big adjustment, but it's not off the table," said the source, adding that Megan and MGK are "doing great." Her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, reportedly "approves" of her relationship her "Midnight in the Switchgrass" co-star, while she's said to be "fine enough" with his new girlfriend, Sharna Burgess. "There is definitely still some tension between Brian and Megan as they had a difficult separation, but they manage to make it work for the sake of the kids," said the source. Brian and Sharna — who "spends a lot of time" at her boyfriend's home in Malibu these days — are reportedly "getting a bit more serious." Said the insider, "Brian loves Sharna's energy and the fact that she's so optimistic and a great role model. Sharna is great with kids in general and always has been. The kids really enjoy her company and it makes things work really well, especially in regards to Megan's feelings about the kids spending time with Sharna."

The news came to light after several spies peeped Violetta dining with Brett Eldredge in Nashville, though Deux Moi's sources were split over whether or not she and the country music star are dating or just friends.

I was just so obsessed with hanging out with and talking with him." After the wedding, she reached out to him via email, but he never responded. "I might've got the wrong email — probably. That's what I tell myself," she joked at the time. John eventually married his then-fiancée, Anna Marie Tendler. Earlier this month, they confirmed they'd called it quits.

To everyone who thinks life has to go in one particular order, or by a specific time… IT DOESN'T. I'd wait a lifetime all over again — through the heartbreaks, years of self-work and countless rose ceremonies — to end up with this person. We make each other better, we have so much fun and we're going to become parents together, so we decided to do the damn thing! … My forever paradise, favorite adventure bud and BEST friend, @dylan.h.brown," she captioned a slideshow of photos including several shots showing off her new engagement bling. But for us, we don't want to do that." She then gushed of her hubby, "He's just the most sensitive, supportive guy in the world. He never says no. Any dream I've ever had, 'Yes, I'm with you.
