Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in early November 2021, starting with this couple… Over the weekend of Nov. 6, Ashlee Holmes — "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Jacqueline Laurita's daughter — sparked rumors that her estranged husband, Pete Malleo, was having an affair when she wrote on Instagram (in words that aren't fit for print!) that he was "busy" hooking up with another woman. On Nov. 8, Pete released a statement to Page Six insisting that he's single and "never cheated on Ashlee." Explained Pete, "All I did was friend request someone and liked some photos. I then asked that person to hang out. … To say that I'm cheating is ridiculous. I've never in my life cheated on anyone. … I've explained to Ashlee numerous times I have no intentions of getting back together and that my only concern is that we continue to show unconditional love to our beautiful son [Cameron]." He added that he and Ashlee — who first split in mid-2020 following two years of marriage and briefly reconciled earlier this year — have been "separated since August," filed paperwork to legally end their marriage in October and are currently "going through a divorce." Ashlee then released a lengthy statement to Page Six sharing her side of the story: "To be clear, I never said that Pete cheated on me," she said before insisting that Pete "has in fact cheated … in the past." She then alleged that he had "an online flirtation with a girl where pictures were exchanged" during the first year of their relationship and several months into her pregnancy with their son. "It only ended because I confronted the woman. There are a lot of other factors as to why our marriage wasn't working. Including him not wanting to go to therapy with me," she claimed, adding that although they've been separated since August, she was under the impression that another reconciliation could be in the cards — especially because he allegedly told her he wasn't dating or interested in dating. She ultimately confronted him about the new woman in his life: "When questioned about this woman, he denied it and said that I 'needed help' for even thinking such a thing," Ashlee said. "Meanwhile, he has in fact been pursuing this woman. … How do I know this? The woman DMd me screenshots of her texts between herself and Pete to antagonize me. She also informed me that Pete has been using some choice words to describe me to her. … For Pete to say that all he did was friend request 'someone' and 'like some photos' is a gross understatement."

On Nov. 10, People magazine confirmed recent rumors that "90 Day Fiancé" star Ed Brown and off-and-on love Liz Woods got engaged after reconciling over the summer. "Back together on Saturday, engaged on Sunday!" the bride-to-be joked of the timeline. Big Ed, meanwhile, acknowledged that he "really didn't appreciate" Liz in the past: "I wasn't a good person, I wasn't a good boyfriend," he said, adding that he went to therapy to work on himself following their breakup. "I didn't treat Liz like she deserved to be treated. I wasn't a good listener. That was all about me — I was so consumed with [myself]." Their engagement will play out on the second season of the discovery+ reality show "90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life." Gushed the reality star of their engagement, "I don't want to love anybody else. And never in a million years did I think that I would ever be together with Liz — it's just surreal. … I couldn't be happier. I know in my heart that she's my forever, and that's all I need to know. I don't want to be with anybody else, I don't want to think about anybody else."

There's a new lucky lady in Tracy Morgan's life! On Nov. 6, the "Saturday Night Live" alum stepped out in New York City with a mystery woman he introduced to the paparazzi as his girlfriend, though he declined to publicly reveal her name. On Nov. 7, Page Six broke the news that, according to a source, Kanye West has been "hooking up with" 22-year-old model Vinetria "for a while now." They've reportedly spent time together in Minneapolis — where they sat court-side during a basketball game for his Donda Academy — and Miami, where he said during an interview with Revolt TV's "Drink Champs" podcast that he still wants to be with estranged wife Kim Kardashian West. "I never even seen the [divorce] papers. We're not even divorced," he said. "They ain't no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together." He reportedly conducted the interview — during which he frequently referred to Kim as his wife — sometime in mid-October. Since then, the mother of four has apparently moved on with Pete Davidson. Said an E! News source of the erstwhile Kimye, "[He] is still holding out hope and wishes they could still work it out … [but] there's no chance for reconciliation at this point." A second E! source echoed that while "Kanye has made it very clear he doesn't want to get divorced and wants her to reconsider," Kim "tried for a long, long time" to save the marriage until she eventually "reached her breaking point." The insider then doubled down: "Kanye is still hoping Kim changes her mind but she's not interested in getting back together."

Then on Nov. 5, HollywoodLife reported that the former star of "The Bachelorette" has been spending time with Kristin Cavallari's former love, comedian Jeff Dye. According to a source, the hairstylist, who's "totally done with Dale," met the funnyman "through mutual friends" and hung out with him in Los Angeles "two days in a row" in early November: first at an Alo event and then at a Lakers basketball game. It's unclear if they're dating or simply friends, though they certainly appeared flirty with one another in a clip from their basketball hangout published by HollywoodLife!
On Nov. 8, Daily Mail Australia broke the news that Simon Baker and 36-year-old activewear designer Laura May Gibbs quietly called it quits over the summer following just a few months of coupledom. First, they honored her late grandparents by exchanging vows in a civil ceremony at Pasadena City Hall in Pasadena, California, on Aug. 9 — her grandparents' wedding anniversary. They were joined by just three guests: the bride's mother and stepfather and the groom's mother. Two months later, they exchanged vows for a second time in front of 48 friends and family members at Zakin Family Estate, a private winery in St. Helena, California. (This time, Shantel's stepfather walked her down the aisle, and her dog served as the ring bearer.) A few days later, they married again in front of 60 guests at the base of a rock quarry in Blue Mounds State Park in Shantel's native Minnesota. She and Victor got engaged in February 2021 after four years of coupledom.
According to TMZ, Stevie J filed to divorce Faith Evans in Los Angeles on Nov. 8 following just three years of marriage.
On Nov. 2, Us Weekly reported that Kody Brown's relationship with fourth wife Robyn Brown played a role in his recent split from third wife Christine Brown: "[Christine has] been in the process of leaving him for a while. The big reason why she split from him is because Kody has been completely devoted to Robyn for the past five or six years. That hasn't changed at all," a source said of the "Sister Wives" stars, adding that Kody's "world completely stopped" after he married Robyn in 2014. "He was devoted to being polygamous so he kept that going for as long as he could. He serves God and believes being polygamous is his way to heaven, so it's not necessarily about having to be in love with all your wives. It's about who else is as devoted as he is," explained the insider, noting that Kody and Christine "do not get along" and that she's "ready to have a new life" away from the polygamist family. "[Christine is] really hurting. She really loved Kody. She gave him her all in hope that he would love her," the source continued. "Kody has not been around at all. He used COVID-19 as a big excuse to not be around family. It's been his ticket to freedom essentially. This destroyed Christine because she really tried to give her all to the marriage." Kody divorced first wife Meri Brown so that he could legally marry Robyn in 2014. He has spiritual unions with both Meri and third wife Janelle Brown, whom he never legally married. He and Christine were also never legally married.
Us Weekly reported on Nov. 5 that, according to a source, Nick Viall and his girlfriend, Natalie Joy, "could be the next Bachelor Nation couple to get engaged." The duo are reportedly "very much in love" and could get engaged sometime "very soon." Nick, said the insider, has "never been happier."
During an interview with The Knot for the magazine's special 25th anniversary issue, which debuted online on Nov. 8, Kyle Richards and husband Mauricio Umansky — who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary earlier this year — opened up about how they first met nearly three decades ago at a nightclub in Hollywood when he mistook her for Demi Moore's sister. "He worked up the courage to come over and say hello, thinking that I was her sister," said the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star. Chimed in her hubby, "I figured if I couldn't get Demi Moore, I could try to get her sister!" The duo then agreed that the real estate mogul "got something way better" with Kyle. "Other than the fact that she is absolutely gorgeous, she has an amazing soul. She's an amazing person. And quite honestly, the fact that she already had a daughter, it made dating a lot more important. I had to take it much more seriously because I was responsible for a woman with a daughter. I also got insight into the way that she was as a mom and how good of a mom she was. And that gave me insight into the future and what it would look like," Mauricio said of what initially attracted him to his missus, who'd been married once before. Said Kyle of her second husband, "He was just a sweet guy and he loved my daughter. And we like to do the same things. We share the same interests and have common goals, and I think that's what really drew us together. But the most important thing to me was how he was with my oldest daughter, Farrah." Added the mother of four, "The moment we started dating, I just felt like he was the one." The long-term couple also dished on their engagement — he popped the question at a restaurant in Santa Monica and gave Farrah her own engagement ring because he "had to ask her to marry me too" — and wedding, which they moved up three months so Kyle's dress "would still fit" when she unexpectedly got pregnant with daughter Alexia.
