It's official! Jennifer Garner was snapped spending time with her back-on-beau, businessman John Miller, in New York City on Aug. 16. (See photos here.) The duo — who split in early 2020 after nearly two years of dating — first sparked reconciliation rumors in May. Their NYC hangout is the first official confirmation they're an item again.
On Aug. 23, Ben Affleck was snapped looking at jewelry at a Tiffany & Co. boutique in Los Angeles with his mom and son. (See photos here.) Page Six practically broke the Internet when they later reported that the Oscar-winning filmmaker was actually checking out engagement rings, sparking rumors that he's gearing up to propose to his back-on love, Jennifer Lopez, for the second time. (They got engaged for the first time back in 2002 but split in 2004.) The following day, however, E! News reported that things weren't quite what they seemed: According to a source, Ben, his mother and son were participating in a scavenger hunt that required them to pop into the jewelry store — not shopping for an engagement ring for the singer-actress. On Aug. 22 — amid a highly publicized hangout with their kids — People magazine reported that, according to a source, Ben and J.Lo "are in it for the long run" and "want all the kids to get to know each other" but "are not trying to rush anything." Ben has three kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while J.Lo has twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

On Aug. 20, Deux Moi reported that, according to multiple anonymous sources, Bachelor Nation's Clare Crawley and Dale Moss are secretly married. One source claimed the off-and-on couple filmed their wedding "with a small crew" and are "negotiating with a print outlet" to exclusively cover their nuptials "to coincide with [a] streaming wedding special." Echoed a second alleged insider, "Yes, Clare and Dale are married! … They are so happy, and now the goal is to have babies ASAP, like within the next few months." The second source also echoed that the reality stars are "waiting to reveal [the news] with People" magazine, though he or she wasn't "100% sure about a TV wedding."

On Aug. 20, Wendy Osefo took to Instagram to publicly celebrate her 10th wedding anniversary with husband Eddie Osefo. "TEN YEARS later and I would choose you each and every time. We met as kids, fell in love as adults, and have built a lifetime of memories together. This past decade has shown me that love is truly the greatest human emotion and with it, you can move mountains! I am blessed to call you my best friend and honored to have your last name. I love you beyond life! Happy 10th Wedding Anniversary my beloved and cheers to 100 more!" she captioned a slideshow of photos including several shots from their 2011 nuptials. Two days later, on the Aug. 22 episode of "The Real Housewives of Potomac," Wendy was forced to deny seemingly unfounded rumors that her hubby is having an affair — rumors that her co-stars heard about on a blog and brought up on camera. She addressed the rumors again on the Aug. 25 episode of E!'s "Daily Pop," insisting that and Eddie aren't letting the drama get to them: "It's funny because when we had that conversation, Eddie and I already heard about it," she said. "That's what happens when you are in and you have a platform. People talk about you. It doesn't affect us. We just celebrated 10 years of marriage. It's a lie, so we were not affected. We were just here living good with our three kids, loving on each other. … I've known Eddie since I was 17. I can tell when he lies if he burnt the chicken in the oven. I know when that man is lying. But we're really friends — that's my homie. What you saw there was me defending my best friend."

(They even kissed!) The 24-year-old Grammy winner — who sings about a mysterious boyfriend on her "Solar Power" album, which just debuted on Aug. 20 — and her beau, who's said to be in his early 40s, were first linked back in 2016 following her split from photographer James Lowe following three years of coupledom. The singer-songwriter has yet to publicly comment on her newly unveiled romance. In recent years, she's also been romantically linked to longtime pal Jack Antonoff.

Explained a second insider, "Kanye has been busy working and spending time with his kids. This is his focus. He doesn't have time to date right now. He finds Irina amazing though. They remain friendly." Echoed an E! News source, "[Kanye] wanted to pursue something with Irina that wasn't going to happen. … He got very busy with work, and they were in different places. It kind of fizzled out from there. They are still friendly and there's a lot of mutual respect. It just was never going to turn into a full-blown relationship." Added a second E! source, "They both enjoy art and music, and it was fun for Kanye to hangout out with Irina while he was finishing his album. Kanye felt inspired by her and liked being around her energy. It was never a relationship or going to be serious. … They really haven't seen each [in] over a month but have kept in touch and texted a few times recently. There is no bad blood and they will probably see each other in the future." Said an Us Weekly source, "Kanye and Irina are over, but they never really started — there's nothing going on there. … [They realized they] aren't great romantic partners."

"It's still early days because they have only known each other a few months but it is all going well. She is drop-dead gorgeous and has loads of men chasing her but she was really drawn to Gavin, as he was to her. They have been spending time together in Los Angeles and seeing how it goes. Neither of them is in any rush to make it serious." On Aug. 25, however, Gwen took to her Instagram Story to seemingly deny the report about her love life. "Got ya," she captioned a video of herself laughing while rolling her eyes, adding a "fake news" graphic for good measure.
According to Us Weekly, Zoe Kravitz and her husband of less than two years, Karl Glusman, finalized their divorce on Aug. 23. In the eight months since they split in late 2020, the "Big Little Lies" star has sparked romance rumors with Channing Tatum. Speaking of the "Magic Mike" alum…

On Aug. 22 — after controversial gossip vlogger Tasha K claimed in an Aug. 16 YouTube video that Iggy Azalea and Tristan Thompson are secretly hooking up — the Australian rapper took to Twitter to insist she's never even met Khloe Kardashian's off-and-on love of several years. "Very weird fake news making the rounds about me dating a man I've literally never met a DAY in my life…. Like…. Y'all are really that bored?!?! … Literally have never even been in the same building as that man. I DO NOT KNOW THAT PERSON. … Making up baseless lies about people for fun is lame because I'm a real person with my own private life that gets disrupted by [this stuff], so I'm actually annoyed," she wrote in a series of tweets. It's unclear where Tasha K got the idea that Iggy and Tristan are an item. Earlier this month, there were conflicting reports about whether or not Khloe and Tristan have reconciled.

It'll be his fifth marriage.
On Aug. 23, Hollywood Life reported that, according to a source, Quavo and Saweetie — who split in March amid rumors he was unfaithful — have been "quietly spending time together on the DL." Said the source, "Quavo has missed Saweetie since they broke up and he's been asking to see her. Apparently she gave in because they linked up in New York and have hung out since they're both there at the same time. … Nothing is official as of the moment, but don't be surprised if you hear they've reconciled." Added the insider, "Their connection certainly hasn't gone away and the chemistry they've always had is undeniable."
On the Aug. 23 episode of E!'s "Daily Pop," Chrishell Stause revealed that she and Jason Oppenheim secretly dated for two months before going public with their romance in late July. "It's just one of those things. You don't want to share with everybody and get all their opinions before you really know what it is," she said. "We really were really private and secretive for as long as we could until we realized the walls were closing in — people were getting a little savvy to it. … We made it to a point where we were really happy to share it because then we knew exactly what it was, so it's all good." She also revealed that their "Selling Sunset" co-star Mary Fitzgerald was the first one to figure out that she and Jason were an item. As for Mary's prior romance with Jason, it's no big deal for Chrishell: "That was so many years ago," she said. "We're just all best friends at this point. Her and [her husband Romain Bonnet] are so happy. It just feels like a family. It's nice."

I know we're going to be together forever."

"The best surprise and most amazing weekend of my life!!! I absolutely said YES to my favorite person and the sweetest man I know! I'm so excited to continue building an incredible life with you @dougfillmore_ I love you beyond words!!" she captioned a slideshow of photos depicting the proposal. She later told Us Weekly that her beau popped the question in Malibu following a helicopter ride over Los Angeles. "I knew he was the one from the moment I met him, because I'd never felt the way I felt for him with anyone else. He has become my best friend and is truly the most kind and loving person I've ever known," she gushed. "He puts up with all of my antics, and I can be exactly who I am, quirks and all, when I'm with him. … There's nothing I've ever been more sure about in my life than spending it with him." "[We] broke up in May and we've remained great friends. ASK THE MAN," she wrote. She also called her ex the "best dog dad and friend" and shared an Instagram Story post from 12 weeks ago in which she addressed their breakup. Teddy also took to his Instagram Story to insist that he and Victoria "dated before she went on" the show. "It didn't work out for us but we are on good terms and I wish her the best," he wrote. Later, on the Aug. 25 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, Victoria said that she and Teddy only dated for "like two and a half months" in early 2021 and "the weight of whether 'Paradise' was going to be a thing or not weighed heavy" on their relationship. "He didn't ask me to stay and was just like, 'You should do it. You should go. I encourage you to follow your heart,'" she revealed, adding that when they met after she moved to Nashville in January, they became "really close, like, best friends" until their relationship "developed into something more unintentionally" — even though she'd already signed on to appear on the current season of "Bachelor in Paradise." Explained the blonde beauty, "He broke up with me and was like, 'I just feel like you've got your own thing going on. [The show] is this huge weight on us, whether you're going to go, whether you're not. Are we serious enough for you to stay? Are you going to have regrets if you stay?' … I think he was probably trying to give me his blessing, but it was like he wouldn't fully commit. When someone won't fully commit, naturally it's like, 'OK, well, if you're not going to be all in then maybe I should [go on the show].'"
In even more Bachelor Nation love news… Blake Horstmann said on the Aug. 20 episode of the "Reality Life with Kate Casey" podcast that he and Becca Kufrin might have finally gotten together earlier this year if she hadn't signed on to appear on the current season of "Bachelor in Paradise." The duo dated on season 14 of "The Bachelorette" in 2018, but Becca ultimately chose Garrett Yrigoyen — from whom she split in the summer of 2020 — over him. "We did kind of chat here and there [earlier this year]. And we were back in touch within the last like six months. And it kind of came down to if she was going to 'Paradise' or not, you know?" he revealed, adding that he "always thought [Becca and Garrett would] never break up." Explained Blake, "I completely put her out of my head. It was never something like a 'when they break up' because I never thought they would. When they did, it was like this weird thing of like, 'Well, I wonder if there's anything still there?' … I would be willing to talk, of course. But we'll see how 'Paradise' works out [for her]. … You know that that show can change you and those producers get a hold of you. The show doesn't like me. The show doesn't want to see us together." (Blake — who first sparked reconciliation rumors with Becca in late 2020 — has been an outspoken critic of Bachelor Nation producers in recent years.) On the Aug. 26 episode of the "Click Bait" podcast, however, the brunette beauty confirmed that she and Blake have "been in touch very sporadically" in recent months but insisted "nothing romantic" has happened between them. "[He] made it seem like we're not together because of production or whatever, and at the end of the day, like, we're two grown adults that make our own decisions," she said. "If we're not together, then … it's because we chose not to be together. It can't be put on anyone else."

On the first part of the "Shahs of Sunset" season 9 reunion special, which aired on Aug. 22, Mike Shouhed revealed that he and Paulina Ben-Cohen are engaged. He popped the question on the beach in Hawaii after getting permission to propose from her son. (She has two kids from a previous marriage.) "The love and the connection that we have with each other, like, I would not be able to live a day without him in my life," said the bride-to-be, adding that she and Mike will not be signing a prenuptial agreement before they tie the knot. "I would not marry someone if I felt that I need to protect myself," she said. "In my eyes, that's not a marriage. Then I'll just date someone." The ninth season of "Shahs of Sunset" chronicled a rough patch in Mike and Paulina's relationship after she caught him sexting other women.
During an Aug. 19 Q&A with fans on her Instagram Story, "Teen Mom" star Briana DeJesus revealed that she's back on the market after calling off her engagement to Javi Gonzalez. When a fan asked when she was planning to tie the knot, she replied, "I am not getting married any time soon. Maybe next 5 years?" Her response prompted another fan to ask, "Are you single?" The mother of two responded with a simple "yes." Briana announced in late May that she and the tattoo artist had gotten engaged.
