Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in mid-September 2021, starting with this single star… During an interview with People magazine that debuted online on Sept. 20, Alicia Silverstone revealed that she recently joined Bumble. "It's just a really nice way for people to meet," she said, adding that the dating app is "kind of like going to a bar" but "more effective." Meanwhile, during a Q&A with Bumble that debuted on the app's YouTube channel on Sept. 15, the "Clueless" alum — who was snapped smooching a mystery man in mid-August — acknowledged that dating is "very new" to her because she was with her ex-husband, Christopher Jarecki, for 20 years before they split in 2018. "I know a lot more about what I need and what I want from my life, so I bring that to dating," she said. She also shared what she considers to be her strengths as a partner: "I'm very open. I make yummy food. I'm super-snuggly and I like adventure," she said. As for what she finds attractive? "Confidence" and someone who is "solid in your skin." When asked to share what a successful relationship looks like to her, she listed "deep respect for one another, excellent communication, tons of passion and two people living really full lives that they love and just sharing in all of that together being in a partnership." Happy swiping, Alicia!

On Sept. 17, People magazine reported that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are gearing up to spend the fall apart as she shoots a film in Canada while he works on a movie in Texas. According to multiple sources, however, that won't put a damper on the pair's hot-and-heavy romance. One source said that the couple are "in it for the long run," while a second insider noted that they're "a great team" who "try [to] be there for each other as much as possible" and are "figuring out their future together." Said a third source, "They are living in the moment and enjoying each other's company. They really enjoy each other. They are like two kids in love!" A few days later, an effusive interview Ben conducted with Adweek about his back-on girlfriend hit the Internet: "I am in awe of what Jennifer's effect on the world is," he said. "At most, as an artist, I can make movies that move people. Jennifer has inspired a massive group of people to feel they have a seat at the table in this country. That is an effect few people throughout history have had, one I will never know and one I can only stand by and admire with respect." Despite busy work schedules, Ben still found time to join J.Lo in New York City on Sept. 25 to watch her perform during the 2021 Global Citizen Live Festival.

The mother of three shared a slideshow of photos of herself and her beau vacationing together at the Montage Los Cabos resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with her new engagement bling — which she previously attempted to keep under wraps — on full display. She captioned the PDA-packed pics with some telling emojis — a heart, an infinity symbol, a lock, a key and a diamond ring — to make it clear they'd gotten engaged.

I know I'm a tough cookie but you make me soft and accept me for who I am and I'm forever grateful for that. Cheers to another year! I love you so much, forever."
