On Feb. 2, E! News reported that Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers — who were first romantically linked last year — were still going strong. A People magazine source, however, said that the actress and the Green Bay Packers quarterback were keeping things casual. But then on Feb. 6 — while accepting his third NFL MVP award during the NFL Honors event — Aaron revealed that he "got engaged" in 2020. Two days later, People magazine confirmed that he and the "Big Little Lies" star are, in fact, engaged and "very happy together," though according to a source, the "whirlwind romance" came as "a surprise" to members of his inner circle. Then, in a Feb. 22 appearance on "The Tonight Show," Shailene confirmed their engagement herself, explaining, "Everyone right now is freaking out over it and we're like, 'Yeah, we've been engaged for a while.'" She also admitted she never thought she'd grow up to marry someone who "throws balls for a living," adding, "I still have never been to a football game because we met during this wacky, wacky time and all the stadiums were closed that he was playing in." Not that it matters. "I don't know him as a football guy," she said. "I know him as like the nerd who wants to host 'Jeopardy!' That's the dude I know. He just happens to be very good at sports." Meanwhile, Aaron's estranged brother, Bachelor Nation's Jordan Rodgers, said in mid-February that he and his fiancée, former "The Bachelorette" star JoJo Fletcher, are pushing their wedding plans (again) amid the coronavirus pandemic.

On Feb. 3, Madison LeCroy admitted to Page Six that she communicated "on the phone" with Alex Rodriguez amid his engagement to Jennifer Lopez. She described him as "just an acquaintance" and insisted that their involvement with one another was "innocent" — they "never met up," have "never been physical" and "never had any kind of anything" going on between them, she claimed. "He's never physically cheated on his fiancée with me," said the "Southern Charm" star, adding that they spoke "randomly" but not consistently. An Alex-friendly source told Page Six that A-Rod "doesn't know" Madison and "definitely didn't hook up with her." (The source didn't deny that he slid into her DMs, though.) A second Page Six source insisted that Alex and J.Lo are "very happy" together. (Meanwhile, several more anonymous women came forward on social media alleging that Alex also slid into their DMs in recent years.) The Madison-Alex drama first took off in late January when Craig Conover said on the "Southern Charm" season 7 reunion, which filmed in late 2020, that Madison had an affair with an ex-MLB player. After the accusation aired, the Internet erupted with rumors Alex was the aforementioned ex-MLB player. The evidence? The baseball star — who was previously accused of cheating on Jennifer Lopez with Jose Canseco's ex-wife, Madison lookalike Jessica Canseco — follows the "Southern Charm" star on Instagram and liked several of her recent thirst-inducing snaps. A-Rod and Madison also reportedly stayed at the same New York City hotel at the same time in December 2020. (As the scandal started heating up online, social media sleuths noticed Alex unliked several of Madison's posts and also deleted the photo of himself at the NYC hotel from late last year.) "Entertainment Tonight" later reported that Jennifer was "truly unaffected" by the rumors Alex was unfaithful because she trusts him and is "so in love with him." A second "ET" source said that the superstar wasn't "paying too much attention to the rumors" but also wasn't happy her relationship was "being called into question over a TV show allegation." Said the second source, "Alex had assured Jennifer that he did nothing wrong and she believes him. [They're] looking forward to when this all blows over." Meanwhile, during an interview with Allure that debuted online on Feb. 9, Jennifer admitted that she and A-Rod "did therapy" last year. "It was really helpful for us in our relationship," she said. She went on to describe canceling their wedding plans twice amid the coronavirus pandemic as "a big deal." Said the singer-actress, "We had been planning for months and months and months, and it was overseas. … Maybe that wasn't the right time."
On Feb. 13, The Mail on Sunday broke the news that "Bridgerton" star Regé-Jean Page has a live-in girlfriend: freelance copywriter and part-time soccer player Emily Brown. (The duo were snapped sharing a tender moment outside the London home they bought together in early 2020.) Meanwhile, during an interview with You magazine that debuted online the following day, the English actor's "Bridgerton" leading lady, Phoebe Dynevor, finally shut down recent rumors claiming she's the one romantically involved with the heartthrob: "I'd love to say there was really something between us," she said. "But no, it has always been strictly professional."

On Feb. 21, Clare Crawley and Dale Moss were snapped holding hands while hanging out by the pool at the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota, Florida. (See a photo here.) The PDA seemingly confirmed speculation from earlier in the month that the duo — who fell for each other on season 16 of "The Bachelorette" in mid-2020, split in January and then shocked fans when they suddenly started spending time together again in mid-February — have reconciled. Said an Us Weekly source, "Dale has been pretty secretive with friends when they're asking if he's back with Clare, but it's obvious to everyone that they're back together. They're just figuring things out and enjoying spending time together." A second Us Weekly source explained that the California-based hairstylist was eager to reconcile with the male model: "Her love for Dale didn't just disappear overnight. She still has strong feelings for him. … [She] took the engagement very seriously and was extremely upset when they split." An E! News source said that while Clare and Dale "are not officially back together" yet, they're "working on their relationship." Explained the source, "There's a lot of resentment but Clare can't ignore her feelings towards him. Clare has forgiven Dale for his actions and the messy split, and wants to move forward. She has expressed she's still in love with him and wants to make it work." Dale is reportedly "very receptive" to the idea. "He regrets how the split happened," said the insider, adding that the pair are "spending time together right now to see if it can work." A second E! source echoed that they're "spending this time enjoying each other's company and are figuring out where their relationship stands, whatever that may be." A third E! News source shed some light on how the reconciliation went down: Dale "had regret over everything that happened between him and Clare" and reached out to her. Eventually, she "caved and decided to answer his calls and talk it out with him." Explained the insider, "She's been trying to move on but it's been very hard. She wanted to see him in person so she flew to Florida to be with him."
Clare and Dale weren't the only former Bachelor Nation couple who raised eyebrows this month… Peter Weber and Kelly Flanagan, who split in late 2020, sparked reconciliation rumors when they spent time together in Tampa, Florida, over Super Bowl weekend in early February. (The duo were seen together at multiple events.) At the time, an E! News source said the pair had "been in touch" and were "working on their relationship" but were "not back together" yet. According to the insider, the former star of "The Bachelor" had "regrets" about the breakup and started "reaching out to Kelley," who was "very hesitant" even though she "still has feelings for Peter" because she "thinks he's not ready to commit to her." Later in the month, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, Peter and Kelley "went their separate ways after the Super Bowl" but were still in contact and "on good terms." The source went on to say that "they're both single" and "only time will tell" if they're meant to be. A few days earlier, Peter said that before the Super Bowl, he hadn't seen Kelley "for a couple of months." Added the pilot, "It was a good meeting, for sure. We are on good terms."
In mid-February, there were conflicting reports about the nature of Jason Sudeikis's relationship with model-actress Keeley Hazell, who had a small role in his 2014 comedy "Horrible Bosses 2" and on the first season of his buzzy new Apple TV+ comedy series "Ted Lasso." People magazine reported that the duo "knew each other from many years ago" and had started "casually seeing" each other, though the "Saturday Night Live" alum "isn't looking for anything serious" right now. An "Entertainment Tonight" source, however, said that Jason "is not ready to move into any relationships" following his 2020 split from former long-term partner Olivia Wilde. According to "ET," Jason and Keeley "have known each other as platonic friends for years now" — since meeting on the "Horrible Bosses 2" set — and the British beauty "has been a great friend to him throughout this breakup." Olivia, meanwhile, is reportedly getting super-serious with her new boyfriend, Harry Styles.

Us Weekly later reported that the Australian actress dumped the Anheuser-Busch scion via text in mid-January, leaving him "really upset" and "blindsided."

The following day, "Entertainment Tonight" reported that, according to a source, things between the duo did, in fact, turn romantic after they grew close working on their song "Flames" and Avril's upcoming album, which Mod reportedly co-wrote and co-produced. In early February, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott sparked a fresh round of questions about the nature of their relationship. On Feb. 2, E! News reported that, according to a source, the duo "are still madly in love" and "seem very happy" but aren't officially back together. "Kylie and Travis spend a lot of time together with [their daughter] Stormi as a family and aren't ruling out getting back together. They aren't putting pressure on the relationship right now," said the source, adding that neither the makeup mogul nor the rapper — who split in late 2019 — are dating other people "at this moment." Two days later, "Entertainment Tonight" reported that, according to a source, the former couple "act like they're an item" and are "relatively inseparable for the most part." That's it," said the source. "They're really just getting to know one another and seeing where things go. … Right now, there are no labels. … They're not exclusively dating and aren't boyfriend [and] girlfriend." It's not exclusive," said the source.
