Miranda Lambert and Evan Felker are no more. The singer described herself as "happily single" during an interview with The Tennessean the hit the Internet on Aug. 24. "Love is a hard road sometimes and it's been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I'm definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I've had some really good songs come out of it," she said, adding that "you've got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts." On Aug. 29, People magazine shed some light on what went wrong between the country star and the Turnpike Troubadours frontman, who were first linked publicly in April, months into their relationship. "I don't think it was a dramatic split, but he knew what he was 'allowed' to do based on her rules and he broke them," said a source. "He did something that he knew she wasn't going to approve of, she assumed he did it and he didn't deny it." Earlier this month, a source confirmed to People that Evan and Staci Nelson finalized their divorce. "Staci very much believes in marriage and very much wanted hers to work," said the source. "Lucky for her, the breakup [between Evan and Miranda] happened a few days after the legal process was over and she felt no obligation to take him back." Continued the insider, "There is no reconciliation in the works. … Evan knows they were never gonna get back together."

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have settled their divorce and plan to file the final settlement with the court after the actor gets out of rehab, TMZ reported on Aug. 25. According to the webloid, it took so long for the former couple to reach a property settlement because they did not have a prenuptial agreement in place when they tied the knot. The duo have reportedly agreed to joint custody of their three children, though their settlement does not dictate explicitly how much time they'll each get. According to TMZ's sources, "They have gotten along great co-parenting the kids and feel it's better to shift custody back and forth depending on work schedules rather than abide by a rigid formula." TMZ adds that Ben and Jen have been dealing with his drinking "for months" and that's why they haven't filed the finalized settlement. "We're told when Ben is out of rehab and back on his feet it will be signed, sealed and delivered to the judge, and then the divorce will become final," TMZ writes. As for rumors the pair might give it another go, "We're told absolutely not, and it's been that way for a long, long time." (There were rumors that they might reconcile after the "Alias" alum staged an intervention for her ex and then took him to rehab herself.)

During an Aug. 27 interview with "Access Hollywood," Ed Sheeran prompted rumors that he and Cherry Seaborn secretly tied the knot sometime earlier this year. When asked to share any details about his upcoming wedding, the singer shrugged and gestured to his ring finger — on which he's been rocking what appears to be a wedding band since at least February — implying that the deed was done. When the "Access Hollywood" reporter asked Ed how he "managed that," he responded, "I never really do anything too public" — and then accepted several "congratulations" from the reporter without ever giving a definitive confirmation that he and Cherry are now married. (The super-private "Shape of You" singer popped the question in late 2017 but didn't announce the happy news until Jan. 20.) Also on Aug. 27, Ed described his ideal wedding to "Entertainment Tonight" — but again declined to confirm or deny that he's now married — saying that he wouldn't sing at his own nuptials or ask any of his famous friends to perform but would rather have someone "unknown" serve as his wedding singer. "I don't like large groups of people at the best of times so … I never wanted a wedding that was lots of people," he said, adding that smaller ceremonies have "a good vibe." As for his decision to keep his relationship mostly off camera in his upcoming documentary, "Ed Sheeran: Songwriter," the "Perfect" singer said, "It doesn't say 'Ed Sheeran: The Life and Times' on it, it says 'Ed Sheeran: Songwriter,' so having Cherry in it didn't seem like it fit for me. … But it does, in the grand scheme of things." He also said it felt a bit "weird" to see his love on screen during certain parts of the documentary.
Daryl Hannah and Neil Young tied the knot in Atascadero, California, on Aug. 15. The intimate nuptials reportedly followed a ceremony aboard the rocker's yacht in the San Juan islands earlier this summer. "As the sun was setting and the full blood moon about to rise, there was an intimate ceremony held on deck. We were probably the only people in the world to witness it," a fan claimed on Facebook, alleging that the ceremony took place "July 27, 2018 in Echo Bay, Sucia Island, San Juan Islands, Washington State."
It was a big week for weddings! Beck Bennett and longtime love Jessy Hodges tied the knot at Dawn Ranch in Guerneville, California, on Aug. 25. "Im so lucky I got to marry you @jessyhodges. Love you forever times a billions," the "Saturday Night Live" star captioned a slideshow of photos of the outdoor ceremony on Instagram. The funnyman and the actress have been an item since 2011.
Yet another star tied the knot this week: Vincent Cassel wed French model Tina Kunakey, who's 31 years his junior, at a city hall in southwestern France on Aug. 24.
"Chicago P.D." star Jesse Lee Soffer and "Chicago Med" star Torrey DeVitto are dating. They "complement each other beautifully," a source told Us Weekly of the pair, who recently vacationed together in Scotland. Earlier this month, they revealed their overseas adventure by posting "flashback Friday" and "throwback Thursday" pictures from the trip on Instagram. On Aug. 9, Torrey shared a "tbt" shot of them walking with their arms around each other, and a few weeks later, Jesse shared a "fbf" selfie that the actress took during a hike.
Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott are in couples counseling, "Entertainment Tonight" reported on Aug. 23. "Tori and Dean are very much in love and have dedicated themselves to improving their marriage. They built a family together and plan on raising their kids as a team," said a source of the couple, who have five children together. "They realized things got completely out of hand when their blowout fights became very public. As painful as that period has been in their life, it was also very eye-opening for them." (Dean has called the police to check on his wife twice so far this year.) "Tori and Dean see Tori's experience as a nervous breakthrough rather than a nervous breakdown, because it led them back to the right path and a healthier life together," continued the "ET" insider. "They both looked at what they were giving up by losing one another, and were willing and ready to do what it takes to make their relationship work. … They started counseling again and turned everything around. … They realized that most of their stress stemmed from their money issues. They're now working closely with an accountant to help fix their financial situation. They've since made some big changes." The pair are also doing better now that Dean, who has another child from a previous relationship, is working again. "Their family dynamic is completely different," said the source. "Tori loves Dean and wants him to have success. She also wants her mother to be happy. She's relied on her mother for help and her mother has always felt Dean needed to contribute. So this is truly a win-win situation."
Rumors that Drake is dating Jimmy Jam's daughter Bella Harris kicked off after the model took to Instagram on Aug. 25 to share photos of herself and the rapper looking super-cozy together. "no place I'd rather be," she wrote in the caption. Bella has reportedly been seen at several of Drake's recent tour stops, but neither she nor the chart-topper have confirmed the speculation that they're more than friends.
Danielle Staub's husband of just three months, Marty Caffrey, filed to end their marriage in mid-August, People magazine reported on Aug. 23. The filing follows a headline-making incident earlier in the month that resulted in the duo obtaining restraining orders (which were ultimately dropped) against each other. Back in July, after Marty publicly accused Danielle of "financial, verbal and emotional abuse," the reality star's rep said that she was "having some difficulties with her marriage."
Salma Hayek took to Instagram on Aug. 28 to reveal that she and husband François-Henri Pinault renewed their wedding vows while vacationing in Bora Bora earlier this summer. "The summer is coming to an end and my best moment was when my husband surprised me with a vow renewal – it was not what I would have chosen to wear to my wedding but I was told I was going to the spa! #luckyinlove #wedding," she captioned a slideshow of photos from the surprise ceremony. The duo tied the knot on Valentine's Day in 2009.
In other wedding vow renewal news: Former "The Bachelorette" stars Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, who got engaged in 2011 on Season 7 of the reality show, renewed their vows at Eagle Beach in Aruba on Aug. 22, just a few months shy of their sixth wedding anniversary in December.
During an Aug. 25 Twitter rant, Thomas Ravenel hinted that he and "Southern Charm" co-star Ashley Jacobs called it quits because she cheated on him. "Today, my personal life just took a huge upward turn. I finally have more than enough information to move forward without any doubt or hesitation and I'll never look back," he tweeted, later telling a fan who asked if he's single that he's "ready to mingle." Continued the reality star, who's since deleted his Twitter account, "After 30 years I finally understand the lyrics from that wonderful Chicago tune: If she would have been faithful, if she could have been true, then I would have been cheated, I would have never known real love." He then wrote, "I hope the best for her. And I do feel a bit sad now. But now I know that just around the corner, down the street, around the block, something magical is going to happen, not tomorrow not next week but perhaps tonight. Perhaps real love. … But I need to find the right woman with which to begin that journey. I want a woman with whom the trust, faith, respect and love is immovable. I never for a second got that vibe with her." When a fan asked why he stuck it out so long, Thomas replied, "I hung in there because I loved her, as unbelievable as that may sound in Bravoland. It's a little scary knowing she won't be around anymore. But hey, It's a Bravo New World! So there's that and like the song says, 'sometimes love just ain't enough.'" But a few days later, Ashley sang a different tune to People magazine…
"I never cheated," Ashley Jacobs told People magazine following ex-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel's Twitter rant. "We had agreed to go our separate ways, and I told him I wanted to see other people. When he saw that I was out with friends, he got angry and made assumptions that I was dating other guys. And when he confronted me about it, I blocked him because it wasn't worth my energy. It's toxic and unhealthy. So he went on a tweet storm. … He's very impulsive and he's not thinking. … Thomas is very traditional. He's all about loyalty and honesty … and he just wanted a reaction. And my reaction was, 'Typical, standard. Make an a– out of yourself. Keep doing it buddy. At this point, you're only making it that much easier for me. I'm embarrassed for you that you have to go on Twitter at 56 years old.'" Continued the reality star, "I feel betrayed. I'm so disappointed. … To put stories there that [I've been unfaithful] — especially with what's going on right now, that there's allegations he hasn't been cleared from, he should know better. I'm going to defend my character. I'm going to defend my reputation." On Aug. 29, Thomas publicly apologized, tweeting, "I have no information that Ashley Jacobs ever cheated on me. In fact as far as I know she has always been true and faithful especially during the really dark times. She didn't deserve my insinuations to the contrary."
On Aug. 23, two days after they were seen holding hands at a VMAs afterparty, Halsey was spotted dancing in the sound booth during a G-Eazy concert in Columbus, Ohio, further fueling speculation that the pair, who announced they were calling it quits in July, are giving it another go. On Aug. 25, Us Weekly reported that the duo are "hanging out again" and "figuring things out." Said a source, "She's liking his pics on Instagram and they aren't trying to hide the fact that their on/off relationship is complicated. They were so serious before and now they don't feel that same pressure to define it. They're super into each other still but they're being casual for now and avoiding labels. Their friendship is still strong and intact and they both care about that a lot."
Amid Mel B's revelation that she's entering treatment for PTSD, alcohol and sex addiction issues, her friend of 15 years, Rusty Updegraff, told The Sun that the singer's "sexual appetite is out of control." Said the restauranteur, "You can't take any straight guy round to her house. … I've known her [to] have sex with three men in a day and then they are on rotation. … She'd be doing this guy and that guy, and then the chauffeur who brings her home." According to Rusty, who had a falling out with Mel when she started seeing Stephen Belafonte but reconnected with the singer once the producer was out of the picture, the Spice Girl even hooked up with Aaron Carter. "Aaron was very nice, but it lasted about a week," said Rusty. "I got 20 phone calls from her about him — he would come and go from her place — then all of a sudden he was out of the picture."
Priyanka Chopra's mother, Madhu Chopra, gave her fiancé, Nick Jonas, the official stamp of approval during an interview with DNA India's After Hrs that hit the Internet on Aug. 22. "Nick is calm and mature. He's a wonderful person and everyone in the family just loves him. He's so polite and respectful towards elders. What more can a mother want!" she gushed after revealing that in recent years, she'd given up on pestering her daughter to settle down. "I always trust Priyanka's judgment; she's not impulsive. She gave it a lot of thought [before getting engaged] and when she decided on something, I was sure it would be good," continued Madhu, adding that the couple "haven't decided on a wedding date yet" because "it's too soon." Said the proud mama, "Both of them have work commitments right now which they need to finish. They will take some time to decide where they want it and when they want it." When they do make it official, Madhu hopes it'll be with a traditional Indian wedding. "That's my only wish. I started the roka with a puja, which is important for me. I'm a modern mother but at heart, I'm quite conservative," she said. As for the roka, "Nick enjoyed the prayers during the puja," shared Madhu. "It was a new thing for him and he took it seriously. He followed what our panditji said, and chanted the Sanskrit mantras accurately. Both he and his parents did it beautifully. They are nice people."
During an interview with Variety that hit the Internet on Aug. 28, Pete Davidson opened up about how he proposed to Ariana Grande: "I didn't want to do something corny," he said. "We were in bed hanging, after watching a movie. I was like, 'Will you marry me?' It was really dope." Continued the comedian, "I'm still convinced she's blind or hit her head really hard. Something is going to happen, and she's going to be like, 'What the [heck] is this thing doing around?' For right now, it's rocking." The funnyman also revealed that he had a crush on Ariana when they first met in early 2016 when she hosted "Saturday Night Live." Said Pete, "I was obviously ogling and trying not to be creepy." When they finally started dating this year, "We didn't know another person could feel — or treat a person — like that," he said. "I never thought I'd meet anyone like her. … I can't even put into words how great of a person she is. I could cry. She's the f—— coolest, hottest, nicest person I've ever met. … I'm f—— living the godd— dream. … I feel like I'm living in a fantasyland."
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" couple Jim and Alexis Bellino finalized their divorce on Aug. 27, two months after the trampoline entrepreneur filed to end their marriage of more than a decade due to irreconcilable differences. People magazine reported that Alexis will get $16,000 in child and spousal support each month as well as one of their homes and a $250,000 payment.

Friendly exes! Chris Pratt and Anna Faris spent time together two days in a row this month. On Aug. 27, the former couple stepped out for a stroll with their son, Jack, in Santa Monica. The following day, they were spotted walking together again in Santa Monica but this time without their little boy. Since announcing their split in August 2017, both actors have moved on: he with Katherine Schwarzenegger and she with cinematographer Michael Barrett.
Meanwhile, Sofia Vergara's ex-fiancé Nick Loeb — from whom she split in 2014 — is still "obsessed" with her, a friend of the entrepreneur-actor's told Page Six as part of an Aug. 26 report. The duo have been duking it out in court since late 2016, when Nick sued for custody of two embryos they made and froze while they were still a couple. "I am … happy for Sofia that she finally found someone to make her happy. I wanted a family, something that she wasn't ready for, so I moved on," Nick has claimed. The Onion Crunch condiment company founder is currently shooting the anti-abortion movie "Roe v. Wade," which he co-wrote and is co-directing. In recent years, he's latched onto various right-to-life philosophies in his fight to bring the embryos he created with the "Modern Family" star to term.
It's been more than five years since Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley got engaged, but they may never tie the knot, the longtime couple said during a joint Aug. 27 appearance on SiriusXM's "Jeff Lewis Live." Though the former star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" said they "got engaged with every intention to get married," she and her partner of more than a decade have struggled to set a wedding date because their "schedules got so hectic." Now instead of focusing on wedding planning, the duo are trying to get pregnant. "All of our resources have really gone into that," said Gretchen. "Anyone who has ever done IVF knows how incredibly expensive it is, and we've been through three rounds. You can imagine how much that money is." The reality star then pointed out "how many marriages in Hollywood are now falling apart." Said Gretchen, "Every single person you're like, 'They're going to be together forever!' Brad [Pitt] and Angelina [Jolie]; Justin [Theroux] and Jen [Aniston], Brooke [Burke] and David Charvet — all these people. The second they get married, they're getting divorced. Maybe we're on to something here, like Oprah and Stedman [Graham] and Goldie [Hawn] and Kurt [Russell]."
Blac Chyna and a mystery man held hands during a night out in Los Angeles on Aug. 28. (The outing signaled that the model's off-and-on romance with YBN Almighty Jay is back off — again.) "He's cool," a source told Bossip of Chyna's new boo, adding that the man has "mad money."
On the Aug. 23 episode of "Celebrity Big Brother," Kirstie Alley opened up about her old crush on the late Patrick Swayze. "I loved him and wished we could have had an affair. But I am a strong believer in fidelity," she said. "When you're on the road doing a movie it's easy to fall in love with your leading man. And we did [the miniseries] 'North and South' for a year. You're around this person for a year. It's hard!" (The "Cheers" star was married to actor Parker Stevenson at the time while Patrick was married to dancer Lisa Niemi.) Kirstie also dished on her old crush, "Look Who's Talking" co-star John Travolta: "He was potential marriage material. I almost ran off and married John. I did love him and still love him," she said. "If I hadn't been married I would have gone and married him." Back in 2012, Kirstie called John the love of her life. That same year, she claimed that she and Patrick secretly fell in love while working together.
Liam Payne opened up about his split from Cheryl Cole during an Aug. 24 interview with Vodafone's Kat Shoob. "It's been OK. Obviously, there's a lot of stuff I've still got to sort out with my life, but I'm enjoying it," he said. As for going through the breakup in the public eye, "That bit of it is difficult," said the singer. "You break up, and then it was like a couple of days or a couple of weeks before we actually put the announcement out, and that's the bit when it really hits home, I guess. At the same point, it's like breaking up twice. You already did this once, and now I'm having to go through all of that again because I have to tell people I don't even really know." Continued the One Direction alum, "Sometimes people need to remember, behind all those statements and things, there are actually people who are going through the same sort of stuff that you go through. Whether they're famous, rich — or whatever they are — it doesn't really matter."
Shawn Mendes opened up about why he's single during an interview with Variety that hit the Internet on Aug. 28: "I'm not currently dating anyone, but it's not because I don't have time — I don't know if I'd be dating anyone if I was home in Pickering [Canada], either," he said. "It hasn't stumbled across me, and I'm not chasing it. Of course, seeing all those other artists and people in relationships, you think, 'Maybe it would be nice; who would be great for me?' And that's when you realize: 'This is wrong. Let it be. I'm not supposed to be with anyone right now.'" Later that day, he expanded on his comments during an interview with "Extra." Said the singer, "I didn't mean it like I have to be single, I meant love isn't something you should chase because then it isn't real, so you have to just kind of let it happen." Added Shawn, "I don't think you ever really get too busy for a relationship. I think you make time for it 'cause that's important."
In other bachelor news: Scott Eastwood is currently "single and dating." He's also "having sex… lots of it." The actor opened up about his sex life on the sex-themed Aug. 21 episode of his "Live Life Better" podcast. "Sex is healthy, people. Don't shame it, embrace it," he said, adding that "everyone should be having sex — with themselves or with someone else." He also made this revelation about his sexual history: "I remember in early-on relationships, when I was in my early 20s, I felt more sexually advanced than some of the people I was with," he said. "I had been down a darker road, and so then trying to reverse engineer to grow with them, it can be tough, 'cause you're like, 'I'm not there.'"
"Pawn Stars" personality Corey Harrison filed to divorce his wife of just a year, Karina, in Nevada in mid-August. The Blast reported on Aug. 24 that the former couple filed a joint petition, which was sealed by the court a few days after it was filed. The duo have reportedly already come to an agreement on custody and support issues. "Karina and I love each other very much. With our competing work schedules, we just weren't able to make the marriage work but remain good friends and want only the best for each other," the reality star told the webloid.

Pauly D told Page Six on Aug. 23 that he'd love to DJ "Jersey Shore" co-star Mike Sorrentino's upcoming wedding. "That's my gift," said the reality TV star. (The Situation and longtime love Lauren Pesce are set to wed sometime later this year.)
