On Feb. 25, People magazine shed some light on Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor's 2017 separation and subsequent reconciliation: "They are the kind of couple that friends hoped would get back together. They were never estranged. Ben just had such a busy career for years. It drove them apart a bit. They didn't spend much time together. But when they did, it was always obvious that they loved each other," said a source. "Even after they decided to separate, they spent time together just the two of them. They always had fun and enjoyed hanging out. They never even dated other people after they separated." The source added that the "Zoolander" co-stars connected on a deeper level following the May 2020 death of Ben's father, Jerry Stiller: "When Ben's dad Jerry passed away, Christine was there to support Ben. It was all the special family time that made them realize they still very much love each other. Ben feels very lucky that Christine stuck around. She is incredibly special," said the insider.

On March 2 — a little more than a year after Kim Kardashian first filed for divorce — a judge declared her legally single. According to TMZ, the reality star replied with an affirmative when asked during a virtual court appearance if there were "problems in your relationship" and "no" when asked if she thought her marriage with Kanye West could be "saved with counseling." A day earlier, TMZ reported that Ye was attempting to stall the process and essentially refusing to work with his lawyers aside from making it clear that he didn't want a divorce. Kim first filed for a bifurcation of marital status back in December. Then on Feb. 23, the mother of four filed new paperwork alleging that her ex "does not accept" that their "marital relationship is over" and claiming that his public attempts to win her back have caused her "emotional distress." Said the reality star, "I believe that the court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children." She added that delaying the divorce would "only create further tension and anxiety." Continued Kim, "While I wish our marriage would have succeeded, I have come to the realization that there is no way to repair our marriage. Kanye does not agree but at least it appears that he has come to the realization that I want to end our marriage, even if he does not. … I ask that the court restore me to the status of a single person so that I can begin the healing process and so that our family can begin the healing process and move forward in this new chapter in our lives."

On Feb. 25, Us Weekly shed some light on what's going on with Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley, who've been sparking reconciliation rumors in the weeks since they reportedly split. "Things are different now, but they were definitely over," said a source, adding that the professional football player "has more downtime and can focus more on a relationship" now that he's in the off-season. "Shailene is understanding and open — she hasn't shut the door completely or [she] would've never agreed to meet up with him," continued the insider, referencing the former couple's Feb. 22 hangout at an Erewhon Market in Los Angeles. The source went on to say that the love between the actress and the NFL quarterback "never went away" and they're now "talking things through and trying to keep things private." Concluded the source, "No one, including them, knows what the future holds — they can possibly get back together or they can decide they aren't meant to be. That's up to them to figure out." Echoed an "Entertainment Tonight" source, "Shailene and Aaron broke up after the two spent a lot of time apart and couldn't make it work. Aaron had told Shailene he'll put more effort into the relationship and making her a priority. [They] have been spending more time together recently and will see what the future holds."

On Feb. 24, Shanna Moakler's off-and-on boyfriend of about two years, Matthew Rondeau, alleged on Instagram that she cheated on him with a married neighbor. (The male model was then arrested for alleged domestic violence following a physical altercation with the former beauty queen, who ultimately obtained an emergency protective order against him.) During an interview with Us Weekly that debuted online on March 2, Shanna insisted she "definitely was not having an affair" with her neighbor. "I think those were things that were being said in a heated emotional state. [Matthew] was obviously confused. He was obviously upset. He obviously was acting like a crazy person but … I think he deals with highs and lows and he was just having a low and that doesn't make his behavior acceptable, and I hope he can see that because this isn't someone I can just turn my feelings [for] off," she said, adding that she was "just engaged" to Matthew "a week ago" but hadn't communicated with him since the arrest. "It's very difficult because it's like I just lost the man that I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with and my best friend," she continued, insisting that Matthew is "not a monster" but rather "a good person who's going through a difficult time." In the days following his arrest, Matthew vacillated between lashing out at Shanna on Instagram and expressing his love for her. On March 3, things took another turn when Shanna told People magazine in a statement, "I took a pregnancy test and it is positive. This has been a very difficult week, but I'm taking everything day by day."

On Feb. 25, HollywoodLife reported that, according to a source, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet "are very much back together." Said the source, "Jason moved back in with Lisa about two weeks ago. … They decided to work on things rather than throw in the towel because they have so much invested in each other." Their two teen children are "obviously thrilled," noted the insider, adding that "everyone is really hoping that they can make this work this time around." The "Aquaman" star and the former "The Cosby Show" actress announced in January that they were "parting ways in marriage." Since then, multiple media outlets have reported that the pair are simply maintaining a friendship for the sake of their children. On March 1, Jason and the two kids he shares with Lisa attended the New York City premiere of his stepdaughter Zoe Kravitz's new movie "The Batman." (Zoe is Lisa's daughter from her marriage to Lenny Kravitz.) "We're just so proud. Lisa couldn't be here so we're representing, me and the babies. We're very excited to just be here. … It's still family, you know?" Jason told "Entertainment Tonight." (His comment seemed to imply that he and Lisa have not, in fact, reconciled romantically.) Said an "ET" source, "They had a lot of love for each other when they broke up, and obviously still do."

Meanwhile, Us Weekly reported on March 2 that, according to a source, Kanye West is "not exclusive" with Kim Kardashian look-alike Chaney Jones. "She's his muse and hangs out with his posse," said the source. "She's a beautiful model and looks like Kim. So, obviously, he's attracted to her. … He would pick Kim over anyone but since they're no longer dating, he's doing the next best thing — creating another Kim Kardashian. Chaney is going along with it and is loving his fashion suggestions. They're enjoying spending time together." The insider added that Ye is "enjoying the single dating life." Echoed an E! News source, "They have been spending a lot of time together in the last two weeks and he likes her company. She travels with him, and they are having a good time." The E! insider added that the chart-topper "would drop anything for Kim if he had the chance" and "likes to have a distraction" from his ex-wife. The rapper was first seen with Chaney in early February. According to TMZ, they met when she slid into his DMs.

She added that her mystery man is from Texas but lives in Newport Beach, wears cowboy boots, likes country music and will be 62 in May. She went on to claim that she "manifested him" after coming up with a list of the 18 things she wants in a partner. They first met and exchanged numbers more than six years ago — before Vicki's ill-fated romance with Steve Lodge — and reconnected a month and a half ago when Kelly Dodd reintroduced them, she explained, noting that she didn't remember him but that they had an instant connection the second time around. Recalled Vicki, "He's like, 'You and I met six and a half years ago and you didn't give me the time of day. … I'm like, 'I don't remember you.' He's like, 'Because you were preoccupied — you were just getting off of [ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers]. You were not ready.' He goes, 'Are you finally ready to date me yet? I've been waiting.'" She then gushed, "It's been like Disneyland. In my mind, I'm just so happy. I've never had a man treat me like this. He is just quality — just a quality man. … He's so far just perfect." She added that she's already met his daughter.

In early February, James confirmed on co-star Lala Kent's "Give Them Lala" podcast that he was seeing someone new. He said at the time that he met his new love interest while he was deejaying. He also hinted that she's a fan of his Bravo show. Speaking of Lala…

On March 2, Lala Kent took to Instagram to share more details about ex-fiancé Randall Emmett's alleged infidelity. In the comments section of a post on writer Tina Swithin's One Mom's Battle account, the "Vanderpump Rules" star wrote, "I was alone during most of my pregnancy and for the first seven months of [my daughter Ocean's] life, until the mask fell and I saw who he really was. He started a relationship with a 23 year old in March of 2021 — the month I gave birth. They 'traveled' together while I was home with Ocean and working on my brand. I thought he was working, because that's what he said he was doing. After the pictures [of him with other women] surfaced, I tried to leave the home to gain clarity and avoid a toxic environment for my daughter — but anytime I did, he threatened to call the police if I didn't return Ocean to the home. But if he felt we were good and he was in control again, I was able to leave the house. I did what I had to do to leave the relationship with my baby. His new 23-year-old girlfriend was 'basically living' in the home two days after I left. Sadly, this isn't the most shocking thing I learned. Women and cheating are just the tip of the iceberg." She added that it makes her "sick" that Randall's profile picture on Instagram is a photo of their daughter and therefore "what pops up when he does his dirty work" — purportedly reaching out to other women on Instagram.

The duo have been seen together several times in recent weeks. "Emma and Peter definitely looked like a couple. When they crossed the street, Peter placed his hand on Emma's back, making sure she got to the other side safely. It was really sweet," said a spy who witnessed the pair walking in West Hollywood on Feb. 20. A different Page Six source, however, insisted there's "absolutely nothing romantic going on" with the former couple. "They've been friends for years, they're co-workers. I'm sorry if there are people who work with them that are saying it, but it's just absolutely not true. Emma is single and loving it, and really busy with her business. Season 5 of the show is coming out [soon]. It's a really busy time for her," said the second Page Six source, adding that the blonde beauty is "dating other people" and "not dating Peter." Insisted the insider, "They're just good friends." Christine previously claimed that Peter cheated on her with Emma. Emma, meanwhile, has maintained that Peter was single when they got together.

News. Louis also told the French magazine Point de Vue of the breakup, "We are not going to get married. However, there was no shadow, no problem in our relationship but fundamental differences of opinion which led us to this decision. At the time of our engagement, we obviously discussed the questions relating to Scarlett's entry into a royal family, with all that that entails in terms of protocol. This posed no difficulty for us." The duo announced their engagement in April 2021.
