It's just not going to work," she said, adding that she's "single." The duo tied the knot in 2002, divorced in 2009 and reconciled romantically in 2018. "He's African, so we're going to have a native law and custom ceremony, and a regular wedding, and then we're going to have another wedding at one of the houses that is out of the country," she said. (The weddings will have to wait until Simon finalizes his divorce from Porsha's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" co-star Falynn Guobadia.) In other Bachelor Nation love news… Who else is dying to know why Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan REALLY broke up?! In a May 28 YouTube video, Kelley clapped back at Peter's recent claims that she only opened up about their breakup on a May podcast to "get people talking" about her. "I will reiterate this so many times: The relationship ended very badly and there was a good reason as to that," she said, adding that she told Peter to lose her number after they split for good because she was "drawing a healthy boundary." She went on to explain that she was inspired to speak out against the former star of "The Bachelor" after he kept characterizing their breakup as amicable during interviews. She asked her manager to "tell him to stop" talking about it because she was "not gonna go with a narrative" that someone else constructed — "this storyline that we're gonna be friends in New York and all this stuff." Said the lawyer, who shied away from detailing exactly what went wrong between them, "I'm never going to let anyone speak a narrative for me and put out their storyline and just have me play along with it. I think [he didn't like what I said on the podcast] because it didn't play along with the storyline that was being portrayed. But it's my life too. I'm never gonna let anyone create my narrative. So I stuck up for myself. I'm drawing a healthy boundary. I'm not gonna play along. The bear was poked. There were several warnings to be like, 'Hey, look, this isn't how it went. I'm not going to stick up for you.'" Kelley also accused Peter of disrespecting her by hanging out with her family friends and by reaching out to her to get back in touch after their breakup. "I don't understand. When you end badly with someone, you would think that they would just try to respect you a little bit and just, you know, go their way instead of reaching out to my friends," she said. She then said Peter reached out to her astrologer "to get his birth chart read" and to get advice on how to get in touch with her: "[The astrologer] understood my anger … and her advice to him was, 'Hey, I don't think she's your biggest fan, and I think it's going to have to take a big gesture. … It's actually really bad and I think that she doesn't really want much to do with you,'" Kelley recalled, adding that she doesn't "want to be pulled back into" things with Peter. "I'm drawing a healthy boundary for myself, as I think that I should be capable of doing knowing what happened at the end of February," she continued. "There were a lot of circumstances where I just said, 'I should not be dealing with this. I shouldn't be dealing with this,' and sticking up for myself and drawing a line. … When something happens that's extremely disrespectful, you have to know your worth and you have to sit there and say, 'Good luck to you. I wish you the best in the future. But I just don't necessarily want you in my life.' And that's OK! You don't have to be on great pages with everyone. … In my scenario, it was just best to pull the ripcord, move on and just cut it out completely, which I think is fair."
In still more Bachelor Nation love news… On May 27, Matt James made his rekindled romance with Rachael Kirkconnell Instagram official. Not how I planned but the moment was right. On Friday, May 28, I proposed to the love of my life and they said Yes. I feel so blessed and fortunate. We have both grown so much since we first met, and the fact that we have both been able to grow into better, stronger, more secure individuals while still being in a relationship together makes me have faith that this partnership will last a lifetime. For the first time we're both experiencing unconditional love. The truest kind of love. The kind where we may not always like each other but will ALWAYS love and respect each other. I promise to always be your rock, support, and shoulder to lean on – no matter what. I got you." Courtney and Chris have been an item for more than four years. It's been nearly five years since Lisa Marie first filed to legally end the marriage.
In other divorce news… TMZ reported on May 29 that more than a year after they first parted ways, Kristin Cavallari's divorce from Jay Cutler has hit a major roadblock: his desire for 50% ownership of her Uncommon James fashion line, which she launched while they were married. According to the webloid, the "The Hills" alum is arguing that she funded the company without his financial assistance and is "pushing back hard" on his request.
On the May 30 episode of Australia's "60 Minutes," Cody Simpson described his relationship with Miley Cyrus as "just one of those phases." Explained the singer-songwriter, "You go through [it] and you learn a lot from it." He added that "everything ended fairly amicably" between himself and the singer-actress. He also dished on how they first started dating, saying, "I'd known her for a long time at that point. We went from kind of being good friends to just having a lot of the same friends, to being together for a while." Cody and Miley called it quits in August 2020 after nearly a year of coupledom.

This marks the beginning of the next chapter of our lives together," said the groom, who proposed in September 2020. He and Katie have been an item for six years — since meeting at a mutual friend's birthday party in Nashville.
U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson married 33-year-old British political activist and conservationist Carrie Symonds at Westminster Cathedral in London on May 29. A rep for the 56-year-old politician released a statement confirming the intimate nuptials, adding that "the couple will celebrate their wedding with family and friends next summer." According to The Sun, the duo — who initially planned to exchange vows in July 2022 — invited fewer than 30 guests to the "last minute" ceremony. "They are both absolutely thrilled. The whole thing has been conducted amid great secrecy and planned meticulously. It was just their secret and that made the day so special," a source told the British tabloid. Boris has been married twice before. He and his new missus welcomed a son in April 2020 — two months after they revealed they were engaged.
