And I kind of went from there to asking him if he would marry me," she told People magazine. Kevin added, "And I said no. I was taken by surprise. I thought the guy was supposed to ask the girl. So a couple of minutes went by, and I asked her." K-Fed, Britney still did it first!

Dax initially proposed in 2009, but the pair waited to wed until same-sex marriage was legalized in California. Kristen re-proposed and the rest is history!

"Queen & Slim" actress Jodie Turner-Smith proposed to Joshua Jackson on New Year's Eve in 2018 while they were vacationing in Nicaragua. "We were walking down the beach, and she asked me to marry her. There was, like, a preamble. There was a lead-up to it," he recalled on "The Tonight Show." He continued, "I did not know, but she was quite adamant, and she was right. This is the best choice I ever made." They secretly tied the knot in December 2019, but not before the "Dawson's Creek" star proposed to Jodie too.

Judge Judy Sheindlin was proactive when it came to making things official with husband Jerry Sheindlin again. Judy and Jerry have been wed to one another twice — they divorced in 1990 and remarried the following year. Judy's the one who popped the question the second time they decided to tie the knot. "I did propose to him. I said to him, 'Where is this relationship going?' And he tried to weasel out of it with his, 'Well, you know, why do we have to get married?' Whatever," she explained to DuJour.

According to her obituary in The Guardian, "Cleopatra" star Elizabeth Taylor — who was married eight times — proposed to one of her husbands, actor Matthew Wilding, who was 20 years her senior. She reportedly asked him to be her husband while she was filming "Ivanhoe" in England. Unfortunately, their union wasn't built to last — they were married for five years from 1952 to 1957, though they did welcomed two sons together.

Becca met Thomas Jacobs, who previously appeared on the 17th season of "The Bachelorette" featuring Katie Thurston, during the seventh season of "Bachelor in Paradise" in 2021. Rather than wait for Thomas to propose, Becca took matters into her own hands — she popped the question in June 2022. "Having a ring on your finger as a male, when your partner proposes to you as a female — you just feel like a bad b****," Thomas revealed while chatting with Kaitlyn Bristowe for her "Off the Vine" podcast.
