Seven months after they got engaged, Hilary Duff married Matthew Koma at their Los Angeles home on Dec. 21. "It was a lovefest — a small and intimate ceremony at her house with friends and family," a source told Just Jared, which broke the happy news. The singer-actress and the music-producer, who welcomed daughter Banks in 2018, kept the event "low key," an insider told People magazine, adding that "the ceremony started at sunset and they got married inside the house. When the ceremony was over, guests cheered. The reception was in a white tent in the backyard." The couple later took to social media to share a wedding photo revealing Hilary's modern white Jenny Packham caped gown and Matthew's sharp Celine tux.

Erin Foster — a TV writer and the creator and star of "Barely Famous" — married businessman Simon Tikhman on Dec. 31 in Nashville. The bride's father, composer-producer David Foster, walked her down the aisle and stepmother Katharine McPhee performed at the reception. Guests at the New Year's Eve nuptials included Erin's sister Sara Foster and celebrity pals Kate Hudson, Rachel Zoe and Jonah Hill.

After weeks of speculation, multiple media outlets confirmed near the end of the year that Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson had tied the knot: A source close to the couple told People magazine on Dec. 20 that the pair, who started dating in 2018, had indeed recently married. The happy news followed an August report from the Daily Mail revealing that the "Queen and Slim" actress and the "Dawson's Creek" alum were seen picking up what appeared to be a marriage license from the Beverly Hills courthouse.
In mid-December, "New Amsterdam" star Janet Montgomery revealed on Instagram that she and copywriter fiancé Joe Fox had quietly married. "On the 29th of November 2019 I made an honest man of my best friend and the love of my life. This was one of the greatest days of my life," the "Salem" and "This Is Us" alum captioned a wedding day photo at the Hermosa Cove Villa Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, with her groom and their daughter, Sunday Juno, who was born in March. "Smallville" alum Tom Welling and his girlfriend of five years, Jessica Rose Lee, married at Sunstone Vineyards & Winery in San Ynez, California, on Nov. 30, Us Weekly reported. "Twilight" alum Ashley Greene was among the guests at the Western-themed nuptials. The bride and groom welcomed a son, Thomson Wylde, earlier in 2019.
"Duck Dynasty" alum Sadie Robertson — whose parents are Willie and Korie Robertson — married Christian Huff in front of 600 guests on the tennis courts at her family's Louisiana farm on Nov. 25, they told People magazine.

After more than two years of dating, "Jersey Shore" star Angelina Pivarnick married Chris Larangeira at the Park Château Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey, on Nov. 20, confirmed "Entertainment Tonight," which has wedding photos. "We snuck and did it… We didn't make any announcements or a big… We went to San Francisco. We went to the courthouse. Got married right in front of [late gay rights activist and politician] Harvey Milk's bust," Lena said. "[It was] her idea, as all good things are. James McAvoy quietly married Lisa Liberati this year, the Mail On Sunday reported on Oct. 26. The couple reportedly met on the Philadelphia set of "Split" — he was starring, she was working as a production assistant for director M. Night Shyamalan — and have been together for the last few years. A director friend of the Scottish actor was overheard saying James has been calling Lisa his "wife" and believed they'd wed "recently," MailOnline further reported. James split from actress wife Anne-Marie Duff in 2016.

Nicki Minaj made good on her promise: Two months after telling fans she'd acquired a second marriage license (after the first expired) and planned to wed boyfriend Kenneth "Zoo" Petty before Thanksgiving, the rapper said "I do" in October. "👰🏽🤵🏽😢🙏🏽🎀 Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19," Nicki captioned an Instagram video revealing "Mr." and "Mrs." coffee mugs and "Bride" and "Groom" hats on a counter on Oct. 22. She's previously said they'll have a larger, blow-out wedding at a later date after she completes some work commitments. Nicki confirmed she was dating Kenneth in late 2018, though she's known him since she was a teen. Their romance has been controversial because he's a registered sex offender in New York and in 2006 pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter. He was released from prison in 2013.

Reports that Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton tied the knot several years ago are false — the couple actually got married on Oct. 5, 2019, Hilarie revealed on Instagram two days later. "This past weekend was the best of my entire life," she began a post featuring a black-and-white wedding photo, adding, "Jeff and I just want to put it out there that WE GOT MARRIED! For real. They finally did it! Dwayne Johnson married longtime love Lauren Hashian, the mother of his two youngest daughters — Jasmine, 3, and Tiana, 1 — in Hawaii in August. The Rock announced the happy news on Instagram alongside two stunning wedding photos. "We do. August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. Pōmaikaʻi (blessed) @laurenhashianofficial❤️," he captioned the pics. On Aug. 17, "Grey's Anatomy" actress Camilla Luddington married "Castle Rock" actor Matthew Alan on the California coast in front of 70 guests including actress pal Jessica Capshaw, People magazine (which has wedding photos) reported. The bride — who welcomed daughter Hayden with Matthew in 2017 — wore a couture gown by Mira Zwillinger and walked down the aisle to the Temper Trap song "Sweet Disposition," a nod to their first date, which took place at one of the band's concerts in 2008.
"Outlander" star Caitriona Balfe took a break from filming Season 5 of the hit Starz drama in Scotland to marry bar and music venue owner Anthony "Tony" McGill elsewhere in Britain on Aug. 10, multiple sources confirmed to People magazine days later. According to People, the Irish actress and the Scottish former music manager's nuptials took place at St. Mary's Church in Bruton, Somerset, England, where a Roman Catholic service was led by the Rev. Louis Beasley-Suffolk. The church's public calendar also confirms that a wedding for "A McGill" took place on the weekend in question, People notes. There's speculation that "Outlander" co-lead Sam Heughan was there on his co-star's big day, as he shared an Instagram photo of himself all dressed up in a well-tailored gray Alfred Dunhill suit in front of what appears to be a lush Somerset landscape, captioning it, "Remarkable weekend. ☂️💞🍾🎊."

According to video posted by the newlyweds on social media, they shared their first dance to Beach House's "Somewhere Tonight" before cutting into a lavish four-tiered cake. "In a shocking, totally unearned plot twist, Commander Lawrence married Mrs. McKenzie today in Santa Barbara. The shark may have been jumped, but the couple is thrilled," the actor captioned a photo of himself and his bride, using their character names, posing with their dogs. The "Transparent" actress also made a "Handmaid's" joke while sharing the same photo on Instagram: "Of Bradley. #eloped," she wrote.

Gigi wore three custom looks by designer Michael Costello on her big day while Nats donned a white suit from her own Strike Oil label. People magazine reported that the guest list included actress Teri Hatcher, singer Bonnie McKee, who performed at the reception, and YouTubers Kandee Johnson, Hannah Hart, Grace Helbig, Trisha Paytas and Erika Sato.
Amid a five-year divorce battle with Elvira "Elly" Schneider that's still unresolved, "Dukes of Hazzard" alum John Schneider married girlfriend Alicia Allain in a non-legally-binding ceremony in the barn at his John Schneider Studios in Holden, Louisiana, on July 2. The pair told People magazine, which published photos from the ceremony, that they consider themselves to married "before God" and plan to make their union legal once John's divorce is finalized.
