Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the celebrity cheating scandals that rocked Hollywood throughout 2022, starting with this drama…
Yikes! Days after former Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo confirmed that she's pregnant with her third child with husband Adam Levine, Instagram model Sumner Stroh posted a video on TikTok on Sept. 19 accusing the Maroon 5 singer of not only having an affair with her but then asking her if it was cool if he named his next child after her. "I was having an affair with a man who's married to a Victoria's Secret model," she said. "At the time I was young, I was naive, quite frankly I feel exploited. .. I was definitely easily manipulated." Sumner — who at 23 is 20 years younger than the singer — went on to say that they were "seeing each other for about a year" and that "after I stopped talking to him over a period of months," he came back into her life by sending her a DM in June that read, "Ok serious question. I'm having another baby and if it's [a] boy I really want to name it Sumner. You OK with that? DEAD serious," his alleged message read. Sumner also shared a screengrab of another exchange in which Adam allegedly wrote, "It is truly unreal how f****** hot you are. Like, it blows my mind. You are 50 times hotter in person. And so am I hahahah." According to Sumner, she spoke out because "I had sent some screenshots recklessly to a few friends I thought I trusted and one of them had attempted to sell to a tabloid — so here I am." In the days that followed, Adam responded to the allegations — keep reading to see what he had to say — and claims made by FOUR more women made headlines…
Then read on for more of the year's biggest celeb cheating scandals…

One day after he was accused of having a year-long affair with Instagram model Sumner Stroh, Adam Levine took to his Instagram Story to respond. "A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life," he began, adding, "In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together." The same day, claims made by three more women made headlines…
_
On Sept. 21 and 22, four new claims about Adam Levine's allegedly inappropriate behavior made by four more women made headlines. Shortly after Sumner Stroh went public with her story, which Adam denied, comedian Maryka and a woman named Alyson Rose both posted screenshots from alleged Instagram conversations with the married Maroon 5 frontman. Messages posted by Maryka, as reported by DailyMail.com, appear to show exchanges in which Adam wrote, "I'm now obsessed with you," to which Maryka replied, "Dude aren't you like married lol." He confirmed he was, adding, "it's a bit complicated." In another alleged exchange, he gushed about her "hourglass figure," adding, "That body of yours is absurd." In a since-deleted TikTok video, Dailymail.com reported, Alyson also shared screengrabs of the singer's alleged messages including one that read, "I shouldn't be talking to you you know [that] right?" She further claimed that there's "a lot more that was said that was not appropriate. I just didn't feel comfortable posting everything." On top of that, Adam's former yoga teacher Alanna Zabel, who worked with him from 2007 to 2010, accused him of texting that he wanted "to spend the day with you naked" and bragging to friends that she had "the best a** in town," sending her then-boyfriend into a rage that led him to break her wrist. Rather than apologize, she claimed on social media, Adam took her off his then-upcoming tour. On Sept. 22, Auburn University student Ashley Russell told DailyMail.com that in March, Adam started viewing her Instagram Stories before liking her posts and sending her DMs "almost everyday at night around 10 p.m. my time." The fitness fanatic said he "would like mainly like booty stories and would always reply with something to do with leg or booty day at the gym" and would almost immediately delete his messages after she read them. "When I told him he was going to get caught DMing girls like me he stopped texting me," she added. A source close to Adam told People magazine the singer craves "female attention." Explained the source, "Why would he do this? He liked the attention. He likes it more than most." That source also said Adam "swears" that "nothing physical happened."

Just two weeks after Nia Long moved to Boston to be closer to her partner of more than a decade — Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka, with whom she has a 10-year-old son — the "Friday" actress learned of his betrayal: On Sept. 23, TMZ broke the news that Ime got caught having an affair with a married colleague. According to the webloid, the team discovered the affair back in July, but Ime only came clean to Nia once he realized his infidelity was about to be made public. On Sept. 22, the Celtics announced that Ime, who led the team to the NBA Finals the previous year, had been suspended for the season for violating team rules. The following day, Nia released a statement thanking fans for their supporting during "this difficult time" and asking for privacy as she processed "the recent events." Ime also released a statement: "I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down," he said in part. On Dec. 6, People magazine reported that Nia and Ime had officially called it quits in the wake of the drama. A rep for the "Best Man" actress also confirmed the breakup news, telling People that Nia and Ime were "no longer together but remain fully committed to co-parenting their son."

During an interview with Page Six that debuted online on Dec. 20, Brandi Glanville dropped a major bombshell about her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian: The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum alleged that the "Third Watch" actor cheated on her with Piper Perabo when they co-starred in the 2005 horror film "The Cave." Brandi claimed that when she visited Eddie on set with their son Mason, who was only a year old at the time, Piper was "horrible" to her. "She was flirting with Eddie, like, right in front of me. I was like, 'Am I here? Am I the only person [seeing this]? Like, what is happening?'" she recalled, adding that she "made friends on set" and "heard a lot of things" about her then-husband's behavior — including that he and the "Yellowstone" actress were sleeping together. "He convinced me that it wasn't true. We had a 1-year-old son and he was the love of my life at the time and, you know, there was a lot of convincing me of things," Brandi said of why she stayed with Eddie following the alleged affair, noting that she was "blindly in love" with him at the time. When Eddie caught wind of his ex-wife's comments, he released a statement to Page Six insisting that her affair allegations were "untrue 19 years ago and … untrue now." Added the actor, "Just because someone thinks something might be true does not make it true." Of course, Brandi has reason to be suspicious: In 2009, Eddie notoriously cheated on her with LeAnn Rimes, who coincidentally appeared alongside Piper in "Coyote Ugly" in 2000. Eddie and LeAnn tied the knot in 2011. Further thickening the plot? Back in 2001, there were rumors that LeAnn dumped childhood sweetheart Andrew Keegan following several years of coupledom after he got too close to Piper.

On Nov. 30, Jesse James's fifth wife, former adult film actress Bonnie Rotten (real name: Alaina Hicks), took to her Instagram Story to announce that she's pregnant — and that she caught the West Coast Choppers founder cheating on her. "Jesse is busy trying to [sleep with] other women while I'm pregnant," she alleged. "I'm so hurt by everything he has done to me. He doesn't give a f*** about anyone but himself. He's a truly disgusting human being." She later referenced her husband's previous cheating scandals, writing, "Everyone can laugh at me, make fun of me, whatever you want to say. Nothing will make me feel worse than how I truly feel right now. I should've known better; you're all right." She also wrote that she didn't want to see "anything to do with him anymore" and filed for divorce. The following day — around the time Jesse publicly denied cheating on Bonnie — she filed to have her petition for divorce dismissed and returned home to him. She wrote on her Instagram Story that she planned to fight for their marriage because Jesse "didn't say anything inappropriate" or "talk about 'having sex or meeting up with anyone'" when she checked his phone and DMs. But then on Dec. 6, she filed for divorce for the second time. A little more than a week later — just when it seemed like they were done for good — Bonnie and Jesse took to Instagram to publicly profess their love for one another. "Ride or die," Jesse captioned a photo of his wife, who shared a slideshow of photos from the West Coast Choppers holiday party the previous evening. "I love you!" Jesse wrote in the comments section, prompting Bonnie to reply, "Love you moreeee." Jesse's last three marriages — to Sandra Bullock, to Hot Rod racer Alexis DeJoria and to adult film actress Janine Lindemulder — and his engagement to Kat Von D ended after he got caught cheating.

On Nov. 30, DailyMail.com reported that "Good Morning America" anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes had been quietly seeing each other since June — even though they were both married to other people at the time. The outlet published several photos of the duo holding hands, vacationing together, spending time at each other's New York City apartments and otherwise looking like much more than friendly co-workers. As the apparent affair made headlines, People magazine reported that, according to a source, "There were rumors they were having an affair about a year ago. … But everyone ultimately chalked it up to friendship because they always said they were both happily married." Since then, there have been conflicting reports about when exactly they took their relationship to the next level. Meanwhile, Page Six reported on Dec. 1 that Amy's divorce from her husband of more than a decade, "Melrose Place" actor Andrew Shue, was "almost finalized" following a summer split. T.J.'s situation was somewhat more complicated: His wife of more than a decade, Marilee Fiebig, was reportedly blindsided by his affair with Amy — even though a report claims she caught him cheating with another "GMA" colleague, producer Natasha Singh, back in 2019. Marilee and T.J. were reportedly separated but working on their marriage when she found out about his affair with Amy in August. On Dec. 5, Page Six reported that in addition to Amy and Natasha, T.J. also had an affair with at least one more "GMA" staffer whose identity is still under wraps. Page Six reported that T.J. finally filed for divorce on Dec. 28.

Michelle Branch's three-year marriage to fellow Grammy winner Patrick Carney imploded in August in the wake of claims he was unfaithful. Michelle tweeted — then deleted — a message accusing the Black Keys drummer of cheating on her while she was home with their 6-month-old baby (they also have a toddler together). Hours later, she told People magazine in a statement, "To say that I am totally devastated doesn't even come close to describing how I feel for myself and for my family. The rug has been completely pulled from underneath me and now I must figure out how to move forward." The same day, she was arrested in Nashville on a domestic assault charge after admitting she'd slapped Patrick in the face "one to two times," court docs stated, as reported by TMZ, though it was later dismissed. Michelle filed for divorce within days but in September — after telling People magazine in an interview promoting her new album, "The Trouble With Fever" (which Patrick co-produced), "I'm still living in it right now and it's still changing by the hour" — she and the drummer filed to suspend divorce proceedings for six months to work on their marriage. She also told talk show host Tamron Hall "My husband and I have started therapy recently, and I wish that we had started it six months ago. I wish that we had gotten help and talked to someone sooner," adding, "If there's anyone out there watching … this is your sign. If you've been thinking about it, go talk to someone." This isn't Patrick's first cheating scandal: In 2011, the musician's first wife, writer Denise Grollmus, penned a lengthy and heartbreaking essay for Salon titled "Snapshots From a Rock 'n' Roll Marriage" detailing their relationship, infidelity and divorce.

In late August, Cheryl Burke took to TikTok to share a video of herself accusing an ex of cheating on her. "When he said he would never talk to her again yet I found text messages, viagra, and a necklace hidden in a pair of his shoes," she wrote across a video of herself, sparking rumors that her estranged husband, Matthew Lawrence, was unfaithful. The "Dancing With the Stars" pro captioned the clip — which featured Adele singing "the last time" from her song "When We Were Young" — "The last time is absolutely right! Goodbye forever… #exessuck #goodbyeforever #hopeitwasworthit." Cheryl didn't specifically mention the "Mrs. Doubtfire" actor — whom she filed to divorce in February following nearly three years of marriage — anywhere in the post, but she has publicly stated that she hasn't dated anyone else since their marriage imploded for unknown reasons.
_
In early August, Crystal Renay Smith filed for divorce from music star Ne-Yo after six years of marriage, alleging that he fathered a child with another woman. The shocking claim came less than a week after she publicly accused him of cheating on her for eight years with multiple women. "8 years of lies and deception," she began a lengthy Instagram post on July 30, just three months after she and the Grammy winner renewed their wedding vows. "8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous of women who sell their bodies to him unprotected… every last one of them! To say I'm heartbroken and disgusted is an understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist." Ne-Yo responded on Twitter, writing, "For the sake of our children, my family and I will work through our challenges behind closed doors."

In July, whispers emerged that model-designer Emily Ratajkowski's four-year marriage to film producer Sebastian Bear-McClard was in trouble. Mid-month, Page Six reported that the pair, who share a toddler son, are divorcing because, according to a source, "he cheated." Said the source, "He's a serial cheater. It's gross. He's a dog." Days later, People magazine confirmed the breakup news. "They split recently. It was Em's decision. She is doing OK. She is strong and focused on her son. She loves being a mom," an insider told the magazine. Emily filed for divorce in New York in September.

In early June, El Periodico reported that Shakira had recently dumped her partner of more than a decade, Gerard Piqué, after she caught him with another woman. A few days later, the singer and the soccer star confirmed that they had, in fact, called it quits — though they kept mum on the infidelity allegations.

In late May, Jana Kramer's ex-boyfriend, former Navy SEAL Ian Schinelli, alleged that the "One Tree Hill" alum had an affair with Gleb Savchenko while they were partnered up on season 23 of "Dancing With the Stars" in 2016. At the time, Jana was separated from her third husband, Mike Caussin, but Gleb was still married to Elena Samodanova, from whom he split in late 2020. "Jana has admitted to me that she slept with two guys while Mike was in rehab [for sex addiction]. She slept with Gleb. She justified it saying, 'We were legally separated,'" Ian told Us Weekly. During an early June interview with "Entertainment Tonight" at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED event, Gleb insisted that he never hooked up with Jana: "Have we ever had anything? Absolutely not. Absolutely not," he said before speculating that the singer-actress "tried to make [Ian] jealous" by lying about their relationship. He went on to acknowledge that he and Jana shared "a lot of chemistry — natural chemistry" and developed "a certain connection" while dancing together. Of course, it wouldn't be the first time Gleb made headlines for allegedly cheating with a "DWTS" partner.
_
Jana Kramer's ex-boyfriend, Ian Schinelli, also alleged that the "One Tree Hill" alum has "been with two co-stars where she tried to get them to leave their wives" for her. She allegedly told the former Navy SEAL she had feelings for her "The Holiday Fix Up" co-star Ryan McPartlin and wanted him "to choose" her over his wife, Danielle Kirlin. "For the first three weeks of dating her, she had a picture of him in the bathroom — a signed picture," Ian said. (Ryan, by the way, has been married to Danielle, with whom he shares two children, for nearly two decades.) Meanwhile, Jana told Us Weekly that she broke up with Ian because he "lied about cheating on his ex-wife." The singer-actress went on to say that she "found out from many women" that she was "not the only one" during her relationship with Ian, who fessed up to cheating on his ex-wife but denied cheating on Jana. "She was the only one during our relationship," he insisted, adding that he came clean about his past indiscretions to Jana when they first started dating.

In mid-February, Sam Hunt's wife of nearly five years, Hannah Lee Fowler, filed to divorce the country music star in Tennessee. In her paperwork to legally end the marriage, she noted that she was pregnant with their first child and that she was under the impression that Sam was "guilty of inappropriate marital conduct" and "adultery." The breakup was to be short-lived, though: In April — amid reports they'd reconciled romantically — a judge signed off on Hannah's petition to have her divorce from Sam dismissed.

Major tech world celebrity gossip erupted in late July when The Wall Street Journal reported that Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk had a "brief affair" with Nicole Shanahan — the second wife of his good friend Sergey Brin, the co-founder of Google — in late 2021 when the couple was separated, prompting Sergey to file for divorce in January and chilling his long long friendship with Elon. Elon — who was on and off with now-ex Grimes around that time — took to Twitter the same day to deny the report while engaging with commenters, writing, "This is total b*. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night! I've only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic." Elon later added, "Haven't even had sex in ages (sigh)." The newspaper didn't back down from its claim, with a spokesperson telling DailyMail.com, "We are confident in our sourcing, and we stand by our reporting." Nicole also later denied the allegation, with her attorney Bryan Freedman telling DailyMail.com, "Make no mistake, any suggestion that Nicole had an affair with Elon Musk is not only an outright lie but also defamatory."

In late February — just two weeks after Paige Lorenze made her relationship of about a year with Morgan Wallen Instagram official — Page Six reported that she found out he was unfaithful and dumped him. "She suspected he was cheating on her with multiple people. After they went public, Paige started getting all these messages on Instagram from girls saying, 'I was with him. We slept together,'" said a source, adding that the situation "snowballed" and eventually "got to a point where it was just too much" for the model.

In late May, People magazine reported that, according to a source, Matthew Morrison got the boot from season 17 of "So You Think You Can Dance" because he developed "an inappropriate relationship with a female contestant." Explained the source, "They didn't have sex, but he reached out to her through flirty direct messages on social media. She felt uncomfortable with his line of comments and went to producers, who then got FOX involved. He was fired after they did their own investigation." The female contestant and the "Glee" alum — who's been married to Renee Puente since 2014 — "never met up off set," clarified the insider, adding that he simply sent "messages that crossed the line." An Us Weekly source echoed that "the messages contained sexual innuendos and were flirty to the extent he was overstepping boundaries." The following week, Matthew took to Instagram share a video hitting back at the "blatantly untrue statements made anonymously" about his exit from "SYTYCD." The father of two insisted that he only sent one innocent message to the contestant asking for her phone number "to help her get a job as a choreographer" on a different show. But that doesn't sound like a fireable offense, does it?

In late May, Billie Eilish's boyfriend of about a year, actor Matthew Tyler Vorce, took to his Instagram Story to confirm speculation that they'd called it quits — and to shoot down buzz that he was unfaithful. "Nobody cheated on anyone. Relationships end. Simple as that. Creating rumors and LYING on the internet is dangerous," he insisted.

In mid-April, fashion influencer Louis Pisano tweeted that Rihanna dumped A$AP Rocky after "she caught him cheating" with Fenty footwear designer Amina Muaddi. The following day, after the tweet went viral, Amina took to her Instagram Story to set the record straight, calling the "unfounded lie" and "fake gossip" about her relationship with the rapper "vile" — especially because Rihanna was heavily pregnant with A$AP's first child at the time. Meanwhile, TMZ reported that, according to its sources, the cheating and breakup rumors were "100% false on both counts." The power couple seemed unaffected by the affair allegations while vacationing in Barbados later that month, and ultimately, Louis tweeted an apology to the duo for causing so much "unnecessary drama." Amina was also snapped holding hands with her then-rumored boyfriend, French comedian Fary Lopes. The couple — who were first snapped holding hands in Paris in July 2021 — have become increasingly public with their relationship since then. (Rihanna and A$AP, by the way, welcomed their son in mid-May.)

In mid-February, Kanye West took to Instagram to share (and then quickly delete!) a screenshot of a Hollywood Unlocked report alleging that Kris Jenner's long-term boyfriend, Corey Gamble, was "spotted in the club kissing another woman." (The website later unpublished the story, which centered around a dark and blurry video of a man who may or may not have been Corey kissing a mystery woman later identified as OnlyFans model Yamile.) Later that day, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the cheating rumor was "a false narrative about Corey" … though Kanye apparently thought it was the real deal! The video was allegedly taken in Miami over Super Bowl weekend while, according to the source, "Corey was at the Super Bowl game in L.A." Kris and Corey, who've been an item since 2014, presented a united front in the wake of the drama: In late February, they were snapped arriving in Palm Springs on Kylie Jenner's private jet.

Alex Rodriguez started stepping out publicly with Kathryne Padgett in late January — less than a month after she apparently ended her last relationship. In late June, buzz started growing online that the competitive bodybuilder dumped her ex-boyfriend two days before Christmas in December 2021 to date A-Rod — or that the two relationships overlapped. After the ex took to Instagram to publicly question the timeline of their breakup and Kat's subsequent romance with Alex, Kat's sister told Page Six that the ex is "a bad guy because he knows the truth and is now exploiting the situation to make Kat look bad." Added Kat's best friend, "She did not cheat on [her ex], it was just a very close timeline." A-Rod, of course, is no stranger to cheating scandals. He and Kat called it quits over the summer.

In early May, "General Hospital" alum Steve Burton took to his Instagram Story to announce that he and his wife of more than two decades, Sheree Gustin, had separated and that she was expecting a child with another man. People magazine later reported that issues in their relationship were exacerbated in late 2021 when the actor refused to get vaccinated for COVID-19 and was subsequently fired from "General Hospital" for failing to comply with ABC's vaccination policy. According to a source, Sheree then became "unhappy" and began looking for "something more." She and Steve had been "coexisting" and "in the coasting stage for a while," added the insider. It's unclear if they were separated when she started seeing someone new. Steve, by the way, did not cite adultery as the reason for the split when he filed for divorce over the summer. (He listed their date of separation as March 1.)
_
In early June, multiple media outlets reported that Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh — the estranged wife of NeNe Leakes' boyfriend of less than a year, Nyonisela Sioh — was suing the reality star for $100K for allegedly having an affair with the businessman that ultimately "alienated, estranged and destroyed" the "love and affection" in their marriage. According to Page Six, Malomine claimed that she and Nyonisela "enjoyed a genuine happy marital relationship" with an "active sexual relationship" until he connected with NeNe and launched into an "uninhibited and adulterous affair" that has since caused her "embarrassment, humiliation and disgrace." Malomine alleged that she and Nyonisela were not separated when he started seeing NeNe in late 2021 and that he initially lied about the nature of their relationship and the time they were spending together. Malomine added that she and Nyonisela officially separated on Dec. 17, 2021 — the same day the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum told The Shade Room that she and Nyonisela were "dating." Malomine and Nyonisela tied the knot in late 2016 but were an item for more than a decade. As the allegations picked up steam online, NeNe took to Instagram Live to insist "there ain't nobody out here stealing husbands" and "nobody wants to steal nobody else's problems."

In February, The U.S. Sun reported that, according to multiple sources, Angelina Pivarnick started having an affair with a man named Joseph Tarallo in the summer of 2020 — not long after she and Chris Larangeira tied the knot. After Chris learned of the affair, Angelina reportedly promised to break things off with Joe… but never did. According to one source, Joe believed Angelina was planning to end her marriage for him, but he ultimately dumped her — and subsequently told Chris, who filed for divorce in January, that "he had been with Angelina the entire time" — when he learned that she cheated on them both with yet another man: reality star Luis "Porto" Caballero, with whom she connected while shooting "All Star Shore" in Spain in late 2021. On a June 30 episode of "Jersey Shore Family Vacation," Angelina admitted that she and Porto developed a flirtation — and even cuddled in the same bed at one point — but denied they had sex. However, when Deena Cortese confronted Porto about his relationship with Angelina, he replied, "It's not called sex. It's making love." An early June trailer for the fifth season of "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" also showed Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino calling Angelina "a cheater" and accusing her of having "multiple sidepieces" who "all wanted to expose" her.

In late June, Jason Derulo's off-and-on girlfriend, Jena Frumes, took to Instagram to share a mirror selfie showing off her bikini body. The post elicited a judgmental comment from a hater who accused the model of "playing the w**** role" because she and the "Savage Love" chart-topper are "not married." (They welcomed a son together in May 2021 and then broke up less than five months later.) "It's unfortunate my situation [with Jason] didn't work out because we once did aspire to be married, but maybe it's best to be single than to be in a relationship and constantly be disrespected and cheated on and lied to," Jena fired back. She then took to her Instagram Story to share a longer statement about her ex's alleged infidelity: "If a man wants a different girl every week over his family, I'll never accept that. We will never be able to make it work 'happily.' I was straight up told that I should 'turn the other cheek.' I'll never be OK with sharing a lover that I love with all my heart! … If the streets come first, I can't change that," she wrote in part.

In mid-June, Balthazar restaurateur Keith McNally took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and "The Real Housewives of New York City" alum Dorinda Medley at his famed NYC hotspot. In the caption, he dropped a major bombshell: They had an affair early in her first marriage: "I hadn't seen [her] since the spring of 1996, when — for three intense months — we had quite a torrid love affair," he wrote, adding that "it was strange" seeing the reality star again because "she actually looked younger" than the last time he saw her 26 years ago. Dorinda, who was reportedly married to Ralph Lynch from 1995 to 2005, seemed to confirm the affair allegation by writing in the comments section, "And the story continues."
_
In late May, Todd Chrisley's former friend and business partner, Mark Braddock, alleged that he and the reality star had "a personal relationship of an intimate nature" for about a year in the early 2000s. Mark made the bombshell allegation in an Atlanta courtroom while testifying as part of a federal fraud trial centered around Todd and his wife of more than 25 years, Julie Chrisley. According to Insider, Mark said that although he still had romantic feelings for Todd, he and the "Chrisley Knows Best" star maintained a close friendship and a business relationship after their affair came to an end. He alleged that in 2012, they paid $38K to silence a blackmailer threatening to expose their affair. The Chrisleys' attorney, meanwhile, described Mark as "obsessed" with the father of five and called his affair allegations a "fantasy." …And yet a jury found the Chrisleys guilty on all counts.

In mid-May, Lisa Hochstein's husband, Lenny Hochstein, prompted questions about the state of their marriage when he stepped out with another woman: model Katharina Mazepa. A Page Six source said at the time that the "Real Housewives of Miami" couple had hit a rough patch but were "trying to work things out" until it became clear he'd moved on romantically. Lenny later confirmed to Page Six that he and Lisa were going their separate ways after 12 years of marriage. He claimed that they'd "contemplated divorce for the last several years," had been "living separate lives for months" and that he didn't start seeing Katharina "until after the decision was made to get divorced." Lisa — who's maintained she was "blindsided" by Lenny — was "well aware" of his new romance, he insisted. Katharina, meanwhile, also insisted that she had nothing to do with her beau's divorce. The model — who reportedly filed to divorce her husband, U.S. diplomat Shilo Mazepa, in 2021 following two years of marriage — told Page Six, "The reality is that both Lenny and I have been separated from our spouses for a while and are both going through divorces. I was informed Lisa was fully aware that he was going out with me." She then doubled down, insisting she was "not the reason" for Lisa and Lenny's breakup and would never go "for a man who is happily married." Katharina's rep added that the model and the plastic surgeon were "going through similar circumstances" and "bonded over navigating their own divorces." After Lenny filed for divorce in late May — and claimed that he and Lisa agreed to dissolve their marriage at least a month earlier — she rejected his timeline of events, insisting to Page Six that she found out he wanted a divorce just two weeks earlier. "Unfortunately, this is a case of a man lying to two women at the same time," she said, referencing Katharina. It's no secret that Lisa and Lenny have struggled in the past: She admitted in late 2021 that they nearly split after he had an emotional affair before their two children were born.

In late February, Shanna Moakler's off-and-on boyfriend of about two years, Matthew Rondeau, alleged on Instagram that she cheated on him with a married neighbor. (The male model was then arrested for alleged domestic violence following a physical altercation with the former beauty queen, who ultimately obtained a temporary protective order against him.) During an interview with Us Weekly that debuted online the following week, Shanna insisted that she "definitely was not having an affair" with her neighbor. "I think those were things that were being said in a heated emotional state. [Matthew] was obviously confused," she said. By early July, it was clear she'd reconciled romantically with Matthew for the umpteenth time.

In late May, People magazine reported that, according to Liam Payne's representative, the former One Direction singer and off-and-on love Maya Henry had quietly called it quits again more than a month earlier. (The duo got engaged in the summer of 2020, briefly split in mid-2021 and then reconciled just a few months later.) Maya first indicated there was trouble in paradise after a fan took to Instagram to share a slideshow of PDA-packed photos of Liam and a pretty brunette with her face obscured. The fan tagged Maya in the slideshow, prompting the former reality star to write in the comments section, "Please stop sending me these pictures of my fiancé wrapped around another woman. This is not me and it's hard enough knowing this has happened without seeing it." A MailOnline source attempted to shut down any speculation that Liam cheated on Maya with his new love by calling "Maya's comments referring to Liam as her fiancé" both "untrue" and "very misleading." E! News then reported that, according to a source, Maya was "blindsided" when Liam "abruptly ended it with her." Liam was later photographed walking arm-in-arm with model Aliana Mawla at London's Heathrow Airport, revealing she was the new woman in his life. (See photos here.) In early June, Aliana released a statement insisting that she was "very taken back by the accusations that [were] made regarding a relationship with Liam while he was still engaged or involved with his ex-fiancée" because "under no circumstances would [she] have involved herself in a public relationship as such if there was any truth to the comments that have been made." Less than two weeks later, it appeared as though Liam had moved on with yet another brunette beauty.

On an early May episode of "The Kardashians," Khloe Kardashian confirmed rumors from late last year that she and Tristan Thompson secretly reconciled around the time that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got engaged in mid-October 2021 — after the reality star and the professional basketball player faced multiple cheating scandals earlier in the year but before she learned he was expecting a child with another woman. "We're actually in a really good place. We just got back together. He's been going to therapy a lot. There's just been a lot of effort on his part," she said while explaining why Tristan was on hand when the blink-182 drummer proposed to her big sis. Subsequent episodes of "The Kardashians" revealed that Khloe and Tristan were going strong again — after she dumped him in June 2021 amid a flurry of reports he'd been unfaithful — when the news broke in December that he was expecting a baby with Maralee Nichols. Tristan got Maralee pregnant in March 2021 while he and Khloe were still together. According to legal documents Maralee filed in March as part of their paternity suit, when she told him she was expecting, the professional basketball player responded by telling her he was engaged to Khloe after dropping $2M on an engagement ring for the reality star. "I'm engaged but I will be married soon. … Why would you want a baby with a man that's engaged," he reportedly wrote on Snapchat while encouraging Maralee to terminate the pregnancy. (He claims the Snapchat messages are fake.) The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum famously fueled rumors that she and Tristan had gotten engaged by rocking a massive sparkler throughout late 2020 and early 2021.

In early March, Lala Kent took to Instagram to share more details about ex-fiancé Randall Emmett's alleged infidelity. In the comments section of a post on writer Tina Swithin's One Mom's Battle account, the "Vanderpump Rules" star claimed that her ex "started a relationship with a 23 year old in March of 2021" — the same month Lala gave birth to their daughter Ocean. "They 'traveled' together while I was home with Ocean and working on my brand. I thought he was working, because that's what he said he was doing," Lala wrote, adding that Randall's new girlfriend was "basically living" in the home they once shared just "two days" after she left him in October 2021. She also said that it makes her "sick" that Randall's profile picture on Instagram is a photo of their daughter and therefore "what pops up when he does his dirty work" — purportedly sliding into other women's DMs. The reality star previously said on a mid-January episode of "Watch What Happens Live" that Randall's infidelity issues had been "going on for quite some time" before she finally dumped him. "It's been kind of repeated behavior that I have found out about," she said. "And it's not just [with] one person, it's many. I believe it started after I got sober [in late 2018]. I don't know how I didn't see it." She acknowledged there were red flags, though: "The constant phone use [was a red flag]. It was glued to him. He couldn't even go into a massage without his phone on him, and he was very funny if I would get anywhere near the phone. That should've been a huge red flag to me. And the constant being gone. He was never around. But I just figured who would creep around with him?" she revealed.

On a mid-February episode of the "FML Talk" podcast, Morgan Willett revealed how she discovered late last year that "The Challenge" co-star Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio was cheating on her: She got tipped off when she came home from a girls' trip and discovered that he'd washed their bedsheets but hadn't done any other cleaning. A week later, a mutual friend reached out to tell her that Johnny left a bar with another woman. Morgan immediately confronted her then-boyfriend, who denied the allegations against him. Ultimately, she trusted her gut over his word and ended the relationship. She went on to say that Johnny never fessed up to his alleged indiscretions: "'I didn't do it,' I think, is the last thing I heard as I walked out and shut the door behind me," she recalled. "Two and a half years down the drain and all you want to hear is 'I made a mistake' or 'You were enough and it just wasn't meant to be' or an explanation in general."

On the premiere of the 12th season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" in early February, Jennifer Aydin admitted that her husband, plastic surgeon Bill Aydin, had an affair with a pharmaceutical rep while she was pregnant with their fourth child, son Christian, around 10 years earlier. She later told Page Six that she and her husband have moved on from the fidelity slip-up: "I pretended it never happened," she said, adding that she and Bill are currently in "a great space." On a later episode, she revealed how she caught him cheating: At the time, she was pregnant with their fourth child, son Christian, and they'd just moved to New Jersey. "[Bill] was not around. He was working a lot, and he was really feeling himself for a bit — he was making money," she said, adding that she saw the "first red flag" when she found a credit card receipt for VIP bottle service at a nightclub. "Then I saw a text message in his phone and I confronted him with it, and he admitted it," she continued. "I was like, 'OK, do you want a divorce?' He was like, 'No.' I was like, 'Do you love her?' He said, 'No!' I said, 'Is it over?' He said, 'It's been over.'" The following day, Christian arrived. "Once the baby came and we were having our moments, I was just like, 'I want to make it work if he wants to make it work.' And we never f****** spoke about it again," she said.

During an interview with Page Six that debuted online in early July, Renée Ash alleged that she had a five-month affair with Addison Rae's father, Monty Lopez, after he "misled" her and "lied" to her about that state of his marriage with Sheri Nicole Easterling. "He told me that we were going to be together and have babies together. … I thought we had something real. He told me a story of his marriage that convinced me that they were apart and in the process of getting a divorce," said the 25-year-old beauty, adding that she dumped her 46-year-old beau in early July when several other women told her that Monty had hit on them in person and on social media. "I loved him and I believed him. When I found out about the other young girls, my heart broke," said Renée, who's just four years older than Addison. Renée, who apologized to her ex's family, alleged that she met Monty through a mutual friend in March. A Page Six source, meanwhile, described the affair as an open secret in Hollywood. In late November, Monty and Renée revealed that they'd reconciled romantically and insisted that he and Sheri were done when they got together.

On Jan. 24 — about a week after Infanta Cristina of Spain's husband of 24 years, Inaki Urdangarin, was photographed holding hands with another woman, Ainhoa Armentia, in France — the duo released a joint statement announcing that "by mutual agreement" they'd "decided to break off our marriage." According to England's Express newspaper, Inaki addressed the hand-holding snaps to a group of reporters, saying, "These things happen. It is a difficulty that we will manage with the utmost tranquility and together as we have always done." Hola!, meanwhile, reported that Cristina — who's the younger of King Felipe VI of Spain's two older sisters — "already knew" about her estranged husband's new relationship before the photos (see them here) hit the Internet. The question, however, remains: Were Cristina and Inaki truly over when he started spending time with Ainhoa?
