Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the celebrities who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in mid-January 2018, starting with one of our favorite leading ladies… According to a Jan. 10 report in the National Enquirer, Angelina Jolie has fallen for Cambodian-American rapper-filmmaker PraCh Ly. The tabloid reports that PraCh "has been making hush-hush visits to her palatial estate" and is introducing the actress and her kids to Buddhism. "Angelina and PraCh have a special bond. They're perfect for each other!" a source told the National Enquirer. Another source tells the tabloid that PraCh is "a great role model" for Angelina's eldest son, Maddox. "He can teach him about his homeland of Cambodia in a way he can relate to," said the source. But within hours, Gossip Cop had thrown cold water on the reports. "We're told by multiple sources that the rapper and actress aren't an item," writes Gossip Cop, which adds that the dating rumors are "nothing more than a tabloid attempting to spark a nonexistent romance simply because Jolie was spotted with the same man on more than one occasion." (Angelina and PraCh reportedly met through Loung Ung, the human rights activist and writer of "First They Killed My Father," the memoir that the actress-director adapted for Netflix in 2017.) People magazine chimed in on Jan. 11 to further debunk the dating rumors: "She isn't dating anyone and won't be for a very long time," a source told the weekly. "She is focused on her children and their needs." The source adds that PraCh is "a friend" whose work Angelina respects. Now keep reading for more of the week's biggest celeb love life updates…

On Jan. 8, E! broke the news that Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff parted ways in December 2017 after more than five years as a couple. "It was mutual," a source told the outlet. "Jack and Lena were growing apart and it just made sense for them to end their relationship where it was." Adds the insider, "They want the best for each other no matter what. They are both moving on." Two days later, Us Weekly revealed that the fun. and Bleachers rocker has already moved on with another woman, an undisclosed musician. The news broke a day after the "Girls" creator took to Instagram to address the breakup and her decision to continue wearing a (non-engagement) ring that Jack gave her: "I'll always wear it," she said in a live video. "Love is a really cool, powerful, eternal thing, and it doesn't have to be defined the way we in Western culture define it as beginnings and ends. Things can be 'you're a drop of water and you re-enter the ocean.'" The former couple first connected in 2012 after being set up on a blind date. In November 2017, Lena took to Twitter to joke about how she thought she'd caught Jack "furtively planning a proposal" — but had actually caught him trash talking her to his sister.

Ricky Martin told E! as part of an interview published on Jan. 10 that he and artist Jwan Yosef secretly tied the knot. "I'm a husband, but we're doing a heavy party in a couple of months," he said. "We exchanged vows, and we've [sworn] everything, and we've signed all the papers that we needed to sign, prenups and everything." The singer-actor added that calling Jwan his husband "feels amazing." "I can't introduce him as my fiance. I can't. He's my husband. He's my man," he said. The duo announced in November 2016 that they'd gotten engaged after less than a year of dating.

Lenny Kravitz was photographed packing on the PDA with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Fialho in Miami on Jan. 7 — in spite of the fact that he told Mr Porter as part of an interview that went live in December 2017 that he's planning to stay super-single. "I've been like really, really single for the last few months. I'm keeping it that way," he said. (Someone better tell Barbara!)
Nearly two months after reports first surfaced claiming that Gwyneth Paltrow and writer-producer Brad Falchuk had secretly gotten engaged more than a year ago, the duo finally confirmed in a Jan. 8 statement to "Good Morning America" that they plan to tie the knot. "We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this junction in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship," said the couple, who were first linked in mid-2014.
On Jan. 9, Cardi B seemingly confirmed in a series of since-deleted tweets that Offset cheated on her: "I'm going to make a decision [about whether or not to breakup] in my own times with my heart and mind," she reportedly wrote. "I don't need to be rushed or be told what to do. Its my life! I belong to me not to the world." The "Bodak Yellow" rapper also addressed the cheating rumors to a fan on Instagram, writing in the comments section of a post, "well if people are talking about it and keep asking me how i feel about the situation why not let them know? Right or wrong? No it's not right for a [man] to cheat… But what you want me to do? Go f— me another [man]? start all over again and get cheated on again? This s— happens to everyone and i [bet to] You too… People handle they relationship different soo." The cheating rumors first took off in late December 2017, two months after Cardi and Offset got engaged, when a hacked video — which appeared to show the Migos rapper in a hotel room with a naked woman — surfaced online. Then in early January 2018, a second video — which appeared to show Offset in bed with yet another woman — hit the Internet.
According to a Jan. 10 report in Us Weekly, Bella Hadid is "hooking up" with Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson. The duo, who've reportedly been hanging out for a few weeks, were previously seen together with a big crew that included Hailey Baldwin at Zuma in New York City in December 2017. Just a month earlier, it seemed a reconciliation might be in the cards for the model and her ex, The Weeknd.
According to Radar Online, Anne Heche filed documents on Jan. 10 to establish custody and child support for her 8-year-old son, Atlas, with longtime partner James Tupper — signaling that the couple of more than a decade have called it quits. The "Men in Trees" co-stars took their relationship to the next level in 2007.
According to a Jan. 2 report on Terez Owens, Aaron Rodgers and recently single race-car driver Danica Patrick were spotted on a dinner date at his favorite restaurant in Green Bay, Wisconsin, sometime after Christmas in December 2017. A source told the site, "[They] were all over each other, kissing and couldn't seem to keep their hands off each other. It's early but they are really hitting it off." The sports webloid's source adds that Aaron and Danica are "on the extreme down low, as they both want to keep this quiet for now." (On Jan. 3, Us Weekly reported that one of its sources also claims that Aaron and Danica are dating.)
TMZ reported on Jan. 4 that Nicki Minaj and Nas broke up "a few weeks ago" after their relationship ran its course due to the difficulties of long-distance dating. "We're told they respect each other, and there won't be any trash talking — but, on the other hand, we're also told they won't be hanging out as friends either," wrote the webloid. Speculation that the rappers and longtime friends had taken their relationship to the next level first kicked off in May 2017.
After she was spotted with some special bling on THAT finger during the Golden Globes on Jan. 7, Caitriona Balfe confirmed to People magazine that she and her love of nearly four years, music manager-turned-bar owner Tony McGill, are engaged. "It happened over the break. I'm very happy," said the "Outlander" star. Congrats!
Michelle Williams' boyfriend has finally been identified as New York financial consultant Andrew Youmans, People magazine reported on Jan. 8, six months after they were first spotted linking up while out and about with her daughter, Matilda Ledger, near the Rome set of "All the Money in the World" in July 2017. The relationship may be serious enough that Andrew has met his lady's little girl, but that doesn't mean he's popped the question — despite the suspicious heart-shaped diamond sparkler that has been a constant presence on Michelle's ring finger of late. When People asked the actress if she's engaged, she responded that the bauble is just "beautiful jewelry."
Page Six reported on Jan. 10 that sometime in late 2017, Harvey Weinstein and Georgina Chapman reached a divorce settlement estimated to be worth between $15 million and $20 million. The disgraced Hollywood bigwig and the Marchesa designer, who were married for around 10 years and share two children, have reportedly reached agreements regarding the custody of their kids (she'll get primary custody, according to a Page Six source) and the division of their property, including a $15 million New York City townhouse and a $12 million Hamptons beach house. According to Page Six, the former couple's prenuptial agreement says Harvey must pay Georgina $300K in spousal support for each year of the marriage before the 10-year mark and $400K per year thereafter. A TMZ source adds that the divorce settlement "does not precisely mirror the prenup" and an official divorce filing is imminent. The mother of two announced her intention to leave her husband in October 2017 after he began facing countless accusations of sexual harassment and assault.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's husband, Jionni LaValle, took to Instagram on Jan. 9, 2018, to shut down rumors that their marriage of three years is on the rocks. "Hey Guys, Im going to visit this subject one time and one time only so……. My wife is filming a scene packing up and leaving for her new show and I AM CHOOSING TO NOT be on TV because I simply DO NOT like it," he wrote in a text post. "Nicole and I are going great and became even stronger together while raising our beautiful kids. HOWEVER you will not see me on her reality show. Being a reality star was never something I wanted to be when I grew up. I own my own business and work hard at it, thats what I do. My wife is a reality star and works hard at that, that's what she does. We ARE not divorc[ing]. For the HATERS I hope this message find you and confuses you even more about life and for the FANS of my wife and her show …I got your back!!!" The "Jersey Shore" star showed her support for her hubby on his post, writing in the comments section, "I love you beyond words & so lucky to have you. As long as we know what we have, screw everybody else. You're my world!" Rumors that the parents of two had quietly split kicked off in late December 2017. "Jionni never goes out with her and she seems to be going out a lot," a source told Radar Online for a report published on Dec. 21. "He can't say he has to take care of the kids cause they live a few minutes away from his entire family." The snitch added that Jionni seems "more into being a dad than a husband."
There's a new man in Yolanda Hadid's life, and the alum of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is "very much in love" with him, she said during a Jan. 9 appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show." Said David Foster's fourth ex-wife of her boyfriend, a non-famous businessman, "He's a very private person — that's the way I like it." Yolanda also dished on how she met her new dude: "I have been single for two and a half years … I needed to take that time for me to heal and step into my own power as a single woman. It was great. But I met an amazing man," she said. "I made a spiral, a love spiral, about a month ago or two months ago. I wrote exactly what I wanted. After two and a half years being single, you have a lot of time to think, you know? It was like, 'What do I really want in a man?' I wrote it down. What are the qualities that I really feel that I need in that other person? And he magically appeared. He rang the doorbell at the farm. Here he is!"
Teresa Giudice is doing little to quell rumors that she's ready to end her marriage to her incarcerated husband, Joe Giudice. According to a Jan. 20 report in In Touch, the reality TV star spent the holidays acting like a single lady in Mexico. "Teresa's winter getaway seemed to be all about letting her hair down," a source told the tabloid. "Teresa was flirting with guys. She wore a series of eye-popping bikinis and no wedding ring. She got a lot of attention from men." Radar Online had a different take on how the reality star spent the holidays, reporting on Jan. 7 that she actually went to Mexico with her secret boyfriend. The hardly reliable outlet added that the star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" has also met with a divorce attorney.
People magazine reported on Jan. 5 that Lara Spencer is now engaged to her beau of two years, tech entrepreneur Rick McVey. It will be the "Good Morning America" co-host's second marriage: She and real estate broker David Haffenreffer, with whom she shares two teenage children, announced in March 2015 that they intended to amicably divorce after 15 years together.
According to a Jan. 5 report from E! News, Scott Disick lost his temper around New Year's when he and his much-younger girlfriend, Sofia Richie, ran into one of her former flings, British race-car driver Lewis Hamilton, during their holiday vacation in Aspen, Colorado. ("[They] were never exclusive," a source told E! of Lewis and Sofia, adding that they're "still good friends.") "[Scott] overreacted and got upset over Sofia saying hello to Lewis," another source explained. "He had no problem letting Sofia know he didn't like it. She handled it very maturely and tried to respect his feelings. She knows how to deal with Scott and diffused the situation." Added the source, "Scott gets insanely jealous of all kinds of things and has trouble controlling his emotions." Another E! source said that little tiffs are run-of-the-mill for the couple: "They will get in small fights and are over it within a few minutes. Sofia is definitely a good match for him because she understands him and puts up with his behavior in moments like this."
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, who were first linked in early 2016, recently reunited in the Maldives, E! reported on Jan. 5. "Katy was in Dubai and then stopped over in Maldives where she met up with Orlando," a source told the outlet. "It's a few hours away and Katy wanted to stop there since it was pretty close." Another source added that the former couple "have never lost touch" and called their recent reunion "nothing serious." Said the source, "They keep in contact frequently and Orlando is understanding of her crazy schedule right now. It's pretty casual between the two." Echoed yet another source, "They have not lost contact. They are just keeping their close connection on the low lately. They speak all the time." It's not the first time the singer and the actor have been seen together since their February 2017 split. They also canoodled during an Ed Sheeran concert in Los Angeles in August 2017.
Andi Dorfman opened up about her love life in her new book, "Single State of Mind," which debuted on Jan. 9. In her memoir, the former star of "The Bachelorette" says she's now "embraced the single life" after questioning why she always ends up with jerks and losers. She also made several jaw-dropping revelations about her recent romantic exploits. Here are some of the juiciest tidbits from the reality TV star's book: She once flew to Canada for "the best sex of [her] life." A guy she met in a nightclub and almost hooked up with thought she was a prostitute. She dated both a New York Yankee and a Seattle-based major league baseball player, who ultimately dumped her via text message. And she somehow encountered a Hollywood madam who sells girls as sex slaves to millionaires. And all of that has made her want to settle down even more: "I've had so much fun that time has started to physically pass me and my ovaries by. I'm scared, because I know that the time has come for me to start growing up a little bit," she writes. "The reality is that I still want all of those things I dreamed of when I was younger. I still want the husband, the children, maybe more of a penthouse in the city than a picket fence, but I still want a life like that."
Courtney Stodden is having second thoughts about divorcing her estranged husband, Doug Hutchison. The aspiring singer, who wed the "Lost" alum in 2011 when she was 16 and he was 51, took to Instagram in early January to share "a public cry for [Doug's] undying love." Courtney shared a since-deleted photo of herself and her off-and-on love on their wedding day, which she captioned, "I need this man back in my life. I need him to come help me. I need him to want our marriage to work. He's been my only solid rock." She then posted a video detailing her state of mind: "Me and my husband have been going through a really rough time — separation, and ultimately, divorce in a week. And I, like, at the last minute realized that I don't want it and I want to try and make things work," she said. "Ever since we've separated and he's moved away, I've been depressed and I realized that… I don't deserve him and I need him back in my life, and I just need him to come, like, help me and be with me and I love him." But just a few days later, on Jan. 8, the reality TV star sang a different tune on Instagram: "I've been in a really vulnerable, emotional and confusing place lately," she wrote in a text post. "Doug has never wanted or thought I would yo-yo in this manner; Leave, come back, and leave again. I've been on this rotating pattern with him for 6 years. And it's because I fear no one else really loves me or will stick around. The divorce in between me and Doug is arriving — and as the pending divorce creeped closer, I had second thoughts. But, I'm realizing I cannot do this to him or to myself… or to anyone else." Continued Courtney in the lengthy post, "I need to let doug go… but hoping we can always remain close. I'll leave that up to him."
David Foster and Katharine McPhee have yet to officially confirm their relationship — and they certainly haven't announced that they've gotten engaged — but that hasn't stopped certain tabloids from speculating over how a prenuptial agreement between the two might look. Life & Style reported on Jan. 10 that the 68-year-old music producer, who's been married and divorced four times, will insist on a prenup before marrying the 33-year-old singer-actress. "He simply sees it as a necessary part of any marriage," a source told the tabloid. But a rep for the "American Idol" alum tells the magazine, "It's actually Katharine who would ask him to sign a prenup." (Kat's divorce from her first husband, Nick Cokas, was reportedly expensive.) "If anyone should understand, it's Katharine," adds the source. The age-defying duo were first linked in mid-2017.
Wedding bells will be ringing for newly engaged couple Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara, but don't expect them to race to the altar. "We're just going to enjoy this for a long time and work and plan it out so it's perfect," the singer told E! of planning her upcoming nuptials, for which she says she has one vision: "I'm in a white dress — that's what I see — and it's gorgeous!" Meghan also took the opportunity to publicly gush about her fiance. "He's so cute and he made all my dreams come true," she said as part of the interview that E! published on Jan. 5. "I felt like a true princess… I'm so happy."
John Corbett and Bo Derek opened up about the secret to their relationship of more than 15 years as part of an interview with Closer Weekly that went live on Jan. 6. "We enjoy each other's company; we make each other laugh," said the former "Sex and the City" star. "After 15 years we still hold hands; we still have barbecues with friends a couple times a week. … We just enjoy each other. I'm sad when she's not around." John also added that his longtime partner "still laughs at all my jokes even though she's heard them a million times." Aww!
