Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in mid-January 2020, starting with Rihanna… Multiple media outlets reported on Jan. 17 that the singer and Saudi Arabian billionaire Hassan Jameel recently called it quits after nearly three years of coupledom. In the wake of the breakup news, the superstar spent time with two former flames: longtime pal and "Fashion Killa" collaborator A$AP Rocky, whom she was seen smooching in 2013, and off-and-on love Drake. During the Yams Day concert in New York City on Jan. 17, fans snapped Rihanna sharing a laugh with Rocky (see photos here) and taking in the show while standing near Drake (see video here). On Jan. 21, Page Six reported that, according to a source, the "Diamonds" chart-topper is "not dating" the "God's Plan" rapper. The following day, Us Weekly reported that Rihanna isn't dating Rocky either. "[He] has always thought Rihanna was cool and gorgeous," said a source. "But they have way more of a best friend [or] cousin relationship. … They are very close friends, but nothing ever seems romantic between the two of them." Womp, womp! Now keep reading for more of the week's biggest celeb love life updates…

"They took a few weeks apart but ultimately decided they really care about each other," said a source, adding that the duo, who split in late 2019, "seem very happy to be spending time together again." Pamela Anderson and "A Star is Born" producer Jon Peters, who's 22 years her senior, tied the knot in Malibu on Jan. 20. According to TMZ, the pair — who've both each been married four times before — first dated in the late '80s and "remained flirty" over the years. They reportedly reconnected following her mid-2019 split from French soccer star Adil Rami. "Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way. There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn't love her so much," the producer gushed to The Hollywood Reporter following their nuptials. "There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but — for 35 years — I've only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild — in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated." (THR adds that Jon first proposed to the "Baywatch" beauty in the '80s, and when she turned him down, he told her, "In 30 years, our age difference won't mean so much.") Pamela, meanwhile, shared a poem about Jon with THR: "Jon is the original 'bad boy' of Hollywood – no one compares – I love him deeply like family," she wrote. "His life used to scare me. So much for a girl like me. Now I've seen more of life and realize … He's been there all along. Never failed me – I'm ready now and he's ready too – We understand and respect each other – We love each other without conditions. – I'm a lucky woman. – Proof God has a plan."

On Jan. 20, Jesse Metcalfe was caught on camera getting cozy with Livia Pillmann (top right) following a late lunch at a vegan restaurant in West Hollywood. The photos show the "John Tucker Must Die" star — who got engaged to Cara Santana in 2016 after meeting her about a decade earlier — holding hands with the Hungarian model and hugging her so close, their cheeks touch. Later that same day — while wearing the same outfit — Jesse got close to another beauty, Jade Albany Pietrantonio (bottom right), outside a bar in Los Angeles. The actor could be seen walking with his arm draped around the Australian actress's shoulders. They are also pictured hugging and standing so close together, they appear to be kissing. (See both sets of photos here.) On Jan. 22, both People magazine and "Entertainment Tonight" reported that Jesse and Cara — who posed together on the red carpet at The Art of Elysium's annual Heaven gala on Jan. 4, during which she described their relationship as "just easy" — split three weeks ago. But the timeline doesn't necessarily add up…
In recent weeks, there has been no indication that Jesse Metcalfe and Cara Santana quietly called it quits earlier this month. On the Jan. 9 episode of Hallmark's "Home & Family," which was recorded the previous day, he referred to her as his "fiancée" several times. Then on the Jan. 16 episode of the Hallmark Channel's "Bubbly Sesh" podcast, which was recorded on Jan. 15, he said that wedding planning was "on hold right now" — but not entirely off the table. "It just kinda lost momentum. I'm sure it will pick up momentum again very soon. We've both just been very busy with work," he said. There have also been conflicting reports about whether or not Cara and Jesse were still living together when he was photographed with Livia Pillmann and Jade Albany Pietrantonio. An "Entertainment Tonight" source said he'd moved out of the home they shared, but an E! News source noted that the pair were still living together. Us Weekly, meanwhile, initially reported that, according to their sources, Jesse and Cara split the day after The Art of Elysium's Jan. 4 event and that "he did not cheat on her." But a different Us Weekly source later alleged that the couple "weren't officially broken up" when Jesse was seen with Livia and Jade: "Jesse has been staying in a hotel and was going back and forth to the house he has with Cara," said the insider, implying that the pair were on a break. "He had not moved out. They had still been having conversations. Cara posted a pic on her Instagram Story with her ring on yesterday. She had no idea about the other women. She thought Jesse needed time to deal with things he was going through." An E! News source said Cara was "completely blindsided by the photos of [Jesse] with other women" and is "very upset." Continued the insider, "[She's] heartbroken and has completely shut down and [is] not talking to many people. … [They] have been together for a decade and have had their fair share of ups and downs. They truly have been on and off several times throughout the duration of their relationship. Recently, they hit a breaking point and have been having issues. … It has been very rocky starting the end of last year and especially the last couple of weeks. They haven't been very vocal or open about what they are going through as they are trying to work it out, but they are just not getting along. … Cara really wants a wedding and she feels Jesse is still not ready to commit or agree on when they are going to finally tie the knot. … She knew they were having issues but didn't think he would betray her on this level and it's truly embarrassing for her."
Us Weekly reported on Jan. 22 that, according to a source, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are in therapy to deal with their issues stemming from his late-2019 hand-holding scandal. "Sometimes they'll have a great day together, and other days they argue," said the source. "Justin knows exactly what Jessica wants to hear to relieve any stress. … They believe [therapy is] constructive for their relationship. … He is trying his hardest to prove himself." A second source added that the actress "does want to move on" and "knows she has to let it go." Said the insider, "It's something she's working on."
Moving on! Just a week after the news broke that she and Austin Butler called it quits following nearly a decade of coupledom, Vanessa Hudgens was seen out on a dinner date with Kyle Kuzma, who was linked to Kendall Jenner in mid-2019. According to TMZ, the actress and the Los Angeles Lakers power forward — who've been exchanging likes and friendly comments on Instagram recently — dined at Italian restaurant Lilia in New York City on Jan. 21. The webloid published photos of the recently single starlet's night out on the town, which included smiles, laughs and a bottle of wine with the basketball star.
Sightings of Kendall Jenner and off-and-on love Ben Simmons are becoming increasingly frequent, seemingly confirming reports from late last year that they're giving their relationship another go. On Jan. 18, they hit up a New York City nightclub together. The following day, they were spied grabbing a bite to eat at a Tribeca restaurant. A few days after that, Us Weekly reported that the model and the basketball star were also spotted seeming "very into each other and … like a happy couple that are comfortable with each other and in love" during a Jan. 7 trip to a New Jersey grocery store. "They were touching each other and Kendall was rubbing his arm and he kissed her hand. They remained close to each other as they shopped and at one point, Kendall put her head on his shoulder and leaned in to him to whisper something. Ben seemed very protective of Kendall and while it looked like he was equally as into her as she was, he was looking around and trying to be more careful," said the witness.
Us Weekly reported on Jan. 22 that Gwen Stefani is abandoning her mission to have her marriage to her first husband, Gavin Rossdale, annulled so that she can marry her long-term boyfriend, Blake Shelton, in the Catholic church. "She very much wants the marriage to be recognized by the church," said a source. But according to a second insider, the process has caused some "tense moments" between the No Doubt frontwoman and the country crooner.
Sean Penn and his much younger girlfriend of more than three years, Leila George, made their official red-carpet debut as a couple at the CORE Gala in Los Angeles on Jan. 15. (In October 2016 — around the time they were first linked — they were photographed at an event together, though they avoided posing alone.) According to an Us Weekly spy, the 59-year-old Oscar winner and the 27-year-old "Animal Kingdom" actress looked "very much in love" and were "affectionate" throughout the evening. "Sean had his arm around her and rubbed her back as she leaned her head on his chest," said the witness. "They [would] whisper in each other's ears and laugh." Leila's father, Vincent D'Onofrio, is only a year older than her beau.
If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all? On the Jan. 19 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Porsha Williams played coy when asked to comment on recent speculation that her fiancé, Dennis McKinley, has been stepping out on her (again). When host Andy Cohen asked the star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" to comment on reports that her man indulged in a 4 a.m. dinner with four young women, Porsha replied, "It's the blogs. He was out. I don't know. Can y'all just continue to comment and speculate and let me just figure out my life? I'm figuring out my life." Andy then asked Porsha if the reports prompted her to have a talk with Dennis. "I'm figuring it out," she responded. Earlier in the interview, Porsha said that she and Dennis are "working on our relationship." After Andy asked her if she trusts her off-and-on love, she said, "I think you ask that every time I come here. … I think every relationship is a work in progress. We have a daughter together. Just pray for us. You pray for yourself — add us in there too, baby."
On the Jan. 21 episode of the Australian podcast "The Kyle & Jackie O Show," Cody Simpson said that "everything's great" between him and his girlfriend, Miley Cyrus. "It's great. We're amazing. No complaints," he said, adding that they're not ready for kids "yet." Just last month, the duo weathered breakup rumors.
On the Jan. 19 episode of her "Intimate Knowledge" podcast, Meghan King Edmonds alleged that her estranged husband, Jim Edmonds, is now dating a woman they once had a threesome with. (She called the threesome a "one-time thing" and something she "wasn't proud of" and said that she only did it because, at the time, she and Jim "were newlyweds and trying to have fun and he wanted to have a threesome" and because she "was fun and wanted to do things for my husband.") Meghan went on to say that the woman — "this girl who I thought was my friend" — recently accompanied Jim on a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The blonde beauty, who heard through the grapevine that the other woman has been calling Jim her "boyfriend," now believes "they've probably had sex more than the one time." The former star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" continued, "This girl betrayed me. … We're getting divorced, but why couldn't you have said to me as a friend — she's a friend — why couldn't she have said something to me? … Can't she go find somebody else? It's just disrespectful on his part. … And now this is the woman he's with? … It's just so hurtful in so many ways." The day after the podcast hit the Internet, Jim released a statement to Us Weekly calling Meghan's claims "lies for publicity." The former professional baseball player, who noted that his marriage to the reality star "is and has been over," went on to allege that "there were more than a few [threesomes] initiated by Meghan and only Meghan." Jim then dropped a major bombshell: "Recently, I have learned that she carried on with a few of these women without me being present," he said. "Would that not be considered cheating?" As for the woman who accompanied him to Cabo, "I was invited to a surprise birthday party this weekend for one of my best friends and decided to bring a date. There is no affair going on here. It has been a plus-one for the weekend," he said. "The woman I am in Cabo with is not [Meghan's] friend. They have not spoken in over three years." Meghan then fired back to Page Six that she "never initiated anything" and "never carried on with any woman outside of these consensual acts." Said the mother of three, "I went along with things because I thought that's what he wanted. I wanted to feel as comfortable as possible. We only had one threesome and only once during our marriage and that was with his current girlfriend. … I think his attempt to sex shame me illustrates the vile mind of this man. I am the mother of his children and to attempt to exploit deeply personal decisions we made as a couple is his attempt to damage the mother of his children and also attempts to demean me in the most vulnerable way possible: sex. It's sick to break me down like this while I'm with all of our kids every day and night and he's on day five of gallivanting around Cabo with my former friend … who's going on shopping sprees with his [credit card]."
There's a new woman in Glen Powell's life: The "Hidden Figures" actor was seen packing on the PDA while frolicking on the beach with Sports Illustrated model Gigi Paris in Punta Mita, Mexico, on Jan. 19. It's unclear when the genetically gifted duo started seeing each other. Glen was last linked to "Extra" host Renee Bargh.
On Jan. 17, Jed Wyatt dropped a new track, "Risk," inspired by his new girlfriend, model Ellen Decker — his first relationship following his failed engagement to "The Bachelorette" star Hannah Brown. "She has brought a whole new level of inspiration into my life. I've just never met anyone like her," he told Us Weekly of Ellen. "It just kind of opened the door for a lot of new feelings and emotions in my music that'll come out in the future, I'm sure. … The communication, the love, it's everything that I've ever wanted. … I'm very happy in my relationship." Added the aspiring country star of his new tune, "I just had this idea come to me that was like, you know, there's times in life where you want to take a chance on someone and your friends try to talk you out of it or tell you that it might not be the best idea, but you kind of want to listen to your heart and go for it anyway cause you're super-attracted to them or into them in general." Jed also took to Instagram to gush about Ellen on his birthday: "I can't thank God enough for putting you in my life, Ellen. You are the true definition of a beautiful soul, inside and out. Thank you for making my birthday so special. I love you, so much and I can't wait to come see you in the warm weather," he captioned a slideshow of photos from his late January birthday celebrations. As for Hannah…
Hannah Brown took to her Instagram Story on Jan. 20 to shoot down rumors that she and Peter Weber — who vied for her heart on season 15 of "The Bachelorette" last year — are now a couple following her surprise appearance on the first two episodes of season 24 of "The Bachelor." During a Q&A with fans from her gynecologist's office, the former star of "The Bachelorette" said that she's single … and has been for a while. "Am I dating anyone? Nope," she wrote, adding that "there's no way" she could be pregnant. "I don't know how to do it," she continued on the topic of dating. "That's been a conversation this week. I'm like, 'I've gotta figure this out,' but I just like to sit at home in my pajamas!"
On Jan. 22 — just two months after Lena Waithe revealed that she and Alana Mayo secretly tied the knot last year — they released a joint statement announcing that they've called it quits: "After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways," they said. "We have nothing but support for one another and ask that you respect our privacy during this time."
Us Weekly reported on Jan. 22 that, according to a source, Amber Heard and the new woman in her life, Bianca Butti, "are dating and hooking up." According to the insider, the actress "is not trying to be low-key" about her new romance. "[She] feels comfortable kissing Bianca and holding her hands in public at this point," said the source. "They started as friends and it turned into something more."
During a Jan. 16 Q&A with fans on his Instagram Story, Ryan McCartan accused Dove Cameron, to whom he was engaged in 2016, of cheating on him. When asked to share his proudest moment, the singer-actor replied, "Within two weeks, my fiancée cheated on and left me, I almost died from food poisoning, and Donald Trump was elected president. I truly didn't think I would be able to make it through that part of my life. I'm proudest of the light that came from the darkness." The "Liv and Maddie" co-stars got engaged in April 2016 after three years of dating but called it quits that October … a month before the 2016 presidential election. At the time, Ryan tweeted that it was Dove's decision to end the relationship because it "isn't what she wants." The "Descendants" actress seemingly addressed her ex's claims about her alleged infidelity on Twitter: She shared a quote reading, "When a toxic person can no longer control you, they will try to control how others see you. The misinformation will feel unfair, but stay above it, trusting that other people will eventually see the truth just like you did."
During an interview with the British version of OK! magazine that hit the Internet in mid-January, Caitlyn Jenner doubled down on Sophia Hutchins' recent claims that they "were never romantically involved." Said the former Olympian, "I'm very fortunate to have a great friend in Sophia. We have a wonderful life and we do everything together. Everybody needs those people in their lives. She has her life and I have mine. We live here and we support each other. It's a great friendship." (Since they became inseparable in late 2017, it's been presumed that the two women, who live together, are a couple.) The thrice-married reality star then revealed that she believes her romantic days are behind her: "To be honest with you, I don't see myself having a relationship with anybody in the future," she said. "It's not what I'm looking for. I've got so many other things in my life. On a scale of one to 10, that's a one. I've been married three times. I've been down that road. I'm 70 years old, I want to enjoy my life and I have great friends. I don't even think about it."
Kathryn Newton played coy when asked about her relationship with Brandon Thomas Lee during a Jan. 19 interview with Us Weekly: "Brandon is the best. We've been friends since high school," she said when asked to comment on the rumors they're a couple. Back in October, Pamela Anderson's older son also attempted to downplay the romance reports by claiming that he and the "Big Little Lies" actress are just "good friends."
Is James Tupper dating Shireen Jiwan? Sure seems like it! The actor — who split from longtime partner Anne Heche in early 2018 — and the marketing exec certainly looked like a couple while posing together on the red carpet at the 2020 SAG Awards on Jan. 19. It's the first time the duo has been seen together publicly.
According to Page Six, Wendy Williams finalized her divorce from Kevin Hunter on Jan. 21. Both parties reportedly agreed to forego alimony and will pay their own legal fees, though the talk show hostess will continue covering her ex's health insurance under her current policy. He'll also remain the beneficiary of her $1 million life insurance policy, though she has the right to reduce the amount on a yearly basis. According to court documents obtained by the New York Post's gossip column, the duo will split the proceeds from their home in Livingston, New Jersey, which is currently on the market for $1.7 million. (Wendy previously paid Kevin $250K to help with his search for a new home.) The former radio star will hold onto their joint bank account, as well as her ex-husband's shares in her company, Wendy Williams Productions Inc. (She'll now be the sole owner.) Kevin is walking away from the marriage with an undisclosed lump sum from his former love and severance pay from her company. He'll also hold onto his businesses and his cars.
Tim Tebow and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters tied the knot at La Paris Estate in Cape Town, South Africa, on Jan. 20. According to People magazine, which published exclusive wedding photos, the duo exchanged vows at sunset in front of 260 guests including Harry Connick Jr.
According to TMZ, Jillian Michaels and Heidi Rhoades completed the paperwork to legally end their domestic partnership on Jan. 16. The duo reportedly agreed that their two daughters will spend 40 percent of their time with the former "The Bigger Loser" star and 60 percent of the time with her ex-fiancée. They also agreed not to trash-talk each other in front of the kids. Although both Jillian and Heidi waived their rights to spousal support, the personal trainer will fork over $2K a month in child support to her ex, as well as a one-time payment of $2.4 million as an advance in child support. Additionally, the reality star will cover the cost of the girls' schooling, clothing and extracurricular activities. Jillian is holding onto their $5.8 million Malibu beach house, while Heidi is walking away from the partnership with their $2 million home in Topanga, California.
Bachelor Nation's John Paul Jones is dating model Victoria Rose Strehlow. According to an Us Weekly spy, the duo — who were seen during a Jan. 15 day-date in Malibu — "were acting very flirty and had a tripod set up and were taking a bunch of cute self-timed photos." (They also posted photos and videos showing their time together on their respective Instagram Stories.) A second Us Weekly source described the outing as "a first date" and said that the pair are "getting to know each other." JPJ split from "Bachelor in Paradise" co-star Tayshia Adams in late 2019.
On Jan. 21, Bachelor Nation's Demi Burnett revealed that she's dating a man following her late-2019 split from Kristian Haggerty: "Me telling my parents I'm talking to a guy with a lot of tattoos: so what y'all think? My parents: he's so camouflaged we can barely see him," she wrote. Fans have speculated that, based on her recent social media activity, her mystery man could be Ciarran Stott of "The Bachelorette Australia" fame, who's covered in body art. (See what we mean here.)
On Jan. 22, People magazine excerpted sections from Jessica Simpson's upcoming memoir, "Open Book," in which she discusses her romance with John Mayer, whom she met in 2005 while she was still married to Nick Lachey. According to the blonde beauty, she and the "Gravity" singer connected after he told her how much he liked one of her songs, exchanged contact info and started writing each other letters, which became more intimate over time. Following her divorce from Nick, she started seeing other people, but John "wanted to have all of me or nothing," she writes. Jessica told People in an accompanying interview, "He'd walk into a room and pick up his guitar and you'd swoon. I didn't really know the man behind the guitar. And that was my mission." Revealed the singer-actress in her book, "Again and again, he told me he was obsessed with me, sexually and emotionally. … [But] I constantly worried that I wasn't smart enough for him. He was so clever and treated conversation like a friendly competition that he had to win." She even had friends spell-check her texts to him to make sure she didn't come across like the dumb-blonde persona she'd publicly adopted. "My anxiety would spike and I would pour another drink. It was the start of me relying on alcohol to mask my nerves," she writes. The mother of three added to People of her ex, "He loved me in the way that he could and I loved that love for a very long time. Too long. And I went back and forth with it for a long time. But it did control me." She ultimately cut off contact with John after he called her "sexual napalm" in a 2010 Playboy interview. "He thought that was what I wanted to be called," she said. "I was floored and embarrassed that my grandmother was actually gonna read that. … A woman and how they are in bed is not something that is ever talked about." Continued Jessica to People, "He was the most loyal person on the planet and when I read that he wasn't, that was it for me. I erased his number. He made it easy for me to walk away. … I know that he's publicly apologized and I don't want to take that away from him. … I think he knows a lot of this about me already but he doesn't know the perspective I have as a woman. That was Jess in her 20s." She also gushed to People of her husband, Eric Johnson, "I never had that kind of connection before. … He's a very selfless and loving person."
In a glowing essay for her eponymous magazine that popped up online on Jan. 15, Oprah Winfrey explained why she and longtime love Stedman Graham never tied the knot after getting engaged in 1993: "The moment after I said yes to his proposal, I had doubts. I realized I didn't actually want a marriage. I wanted to be asked. I wanted to know he felt I was worthy of being his missus, but I didn't want the sacrifices, the compromises, the day-in-day-out commitment required to make a marriage work. My life with the show was my priority, and we both knew it," she wrote. "He and I agree that had we tied the marital knot, we would not still be together. Our relationship works because he created an identity beyond being 'Oprah's man.' … And because we share all the values that matter (integrity being number one). And because we relish seeing the other fulfill and manifest their destiny and purpose." She went on to call their relationship "a spiritual partnership," which she described as a "partnership between equals for the purpose of spiritual growth." The media mogul also explained how she met Stedman, who had a girlfriend at the time, through a mutual friend in 1986. As for her first impression of him? "I thought he was nice enough, but I wasn't that impressed. He was polite, yes, and kind. The sort of guy who sits with an ailing friend. Tall and handsome, for sure. But actually too handsome, I thought, to be interested in me," she wrote. "I figured he must be a player. So did all my producers. They warned me not to get involved with that Stedman guy. … Anybody that good-looking driving a vintage Mercedes merited suspicion." Oprah "proceeded with caution" and entered into a friendship with Stedman, which blossomed into something more after he broke up with his girlfriend and she finally "gave him a serious thought." She then gushed that her beau is "appropriately named because he's steady as a mountain … even-tempered, accountable, trustworthy, patient." Added O, "Anyone who's ever met him is always amazed by what a genuine gentleman he is. He's so positive. Wants the best for me and everyone he knows. Truly wishes people well."
During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on Jan. 16, Ashley Jacobs said she's "so happy" with her new boyfriend, Mike Appel. "It's weird having something so healthy. It feels too good to be true," said the former "Southern Charm" star, who added that she didn't "see the light at the end of the tunnel" following her mid-2018 split from Thomas Ravenel. "I did have some issues and I was a bit broken. … I just wasn't in a good place. … But I'm not broken anymore," she said. The blonde beauty went on to share an example of how she still has "trauma" from her relationship with her ex: "I still live in those moments — even with my current boyfriend. It's like, [if] I don't call him back right away, I'm like, 'Oh my God, is he gonna pick up my phone call? Is he gonna be mad?' And he's not," she said. "I'm like, 'I have to re-train my brain, you know, this is healthy! That's what it's supposed to be!' And I'm not saying that I was never in another healthy relationship — I was. I just don't remember. It's like I have amnesia everything prior to [Thomas]."
During a Jan. 21 interview with Us Weekly, Madisson Hausburg opened up about her age-mismatched romance with former "Siesta Key" producer Ismael "Ish" Soto: "I don't notice it anymore, but I obviously knew that it was going to be a big shock to everyone and I knew that that would be our biggest hurdle," she said of the 20-year age-gap between herself and her boyfriend of more than a year. The Florida-based reality star went on to say that she and the producer, who lives in Los Angeles, are "doing the bicoastal thing," which is "not always easy." Continued Madisson, "Ideally we will find a place where we can both call home. I don't know where that will be, that's still open for discussion." She went on to explain how things with Ish are different from her relationship with co-star Brandon Gomes: "I did love him, but Brandon was fun and we always kept it light. We never really had, like, conversations about the future about where we want to live or do we want [a] family. These are all conversations that I have had with Ish," she said. "It may be because of the age difference, but it just seems like we are getting a lot more serious a lot quicker. It seems like a much more mature relationship. We do have deeper conversations. I would just say the most obvious difference to me is just the depth of the relationship." As for her father's well-documented disapproval of her age-defying coupling, "He is coming around, but slowly. We still have to have those conversations from time to time. You know, I realize now it's not just going to happen overnight, it will be something that he will have to come to terms with on his own time," said the MTV star. "The more he sees me with Ish, hopefully, the more he realizes that we are going to be together. He needs to come around and hopefully, he will want to come around."
During an interview with People magazine that hit the Internet on Jan. 22, Hilary Duff gushed about married life with her new husband, Matthew Koma: "It's been such a high," she said. "It was the best wedding ever. We had so much fun. We just kept saying, 'That was the best day of our lives!'" She added of their South African safari honeymoon, "We did the coolest things. We both had never been on safari and it was what everyone says it is. There are no words. We saw the big five (rhino, lion, tiger, elephant, buffalo) within the first two days! I felt so lucky."
At a Jan. 19 press conference during the TCA Winter Press Tour, Kristen Bell said that she would work with her husband, Dax Shepard, again "in a heartbeat." Gushed the actress, "I know it's not this way in every relationship, but anytime I get to work with my husband, I'm impressed because it's just more time I get to spend with him. People often ask why I like working with him — it's because I chose him as my husband because I trust him more than I trust any other person on the planet, so why on earth would I not want that in a scene partner or a director?" As for how the duo — who previously co-starred in "When in Rome," "Hit and Run" and "CHiPs" — like to spend their time together away from work, "When I get home, it's the time that I reconnect with my husband," said the mother of two.
