She's simply the best! Serena Williams has implied that the 2022 U.S. Open will be her final tournament. Although she's arguably the greatest female tennis player of all time, Serena wasn't exactly expected to do much coming into the tournament. In fact, according to Las Vegas odds, she had a 50-to-1 chance of winning the tournament (win $50 for every $1 wagered). Of course, Serena did Serena things: She won, emerging victorious in the first two rounds of singles play, before losing to Ajla Tomljanovic on Sept. 2. (Her incredible doubles career has also likely come to an end: She and sister Venus Williams lost in the first round of doubles play to Czech duo Linda Nosková and Lucie Hradecká on Sept. 1.)
