Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the celebrities who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in early December 2022, starting with this story…
On Dec. 6, Florence Pugh was snapped leaving her hotel in London with a handsome mystery man who's been described online as her new boyfriend. (See photos here.) According to Deux Moi's anonymous sources, he's either "an Irish low-level actor" or "English and a normie" — a non-famous person — whom she went to school with in her hometown of Oxford, England. Deux Moi later reported that his name is Charlie Gooch.

On the Dec. 5 episode of "Live with Kelly and Ryan," Gabourey Sidibe revealed that she quietly married Brandon Frankel in early 2021 — just four months after they got engaged in late 2020. "The thing about weddings is I don't like them. I don't like them. Here's an example of how much I don't like weddings: I'm actually married. We got married over a year ago," the Oscar-nominated "Precious" actress said, adding that she and Brandon exchanged vows "at the kitchen table." (She doesn't like weddings, she explained, because her mother was a wedding singer.) Gabby later took to Instagram to share a slideshow of "official wedding photos" — two selfies and a shot of her cat inspecting a bouquet of congratulatory flowers — which she captioned in part, "We really do want to have a wedding someday but I just couldn't wait to marry this amazing man." Brandon, meanwhile, captioned his own slideshow of photos, "SURPRISE! I can finally call her my WIFE publicly! Since @gabby3shabby finally spilled the beans today on 'Live with Kelly and Ryan' — we've been MARRIED since March 2021! Relieved we can finally tell the world. So thankful to have found my forever person, my partner-in-crime, and the love of my life. Every day is the best day with you. Nobody I would rather raise cats with and be in bed by a smooth 8pm with. Love you forever."

On Dec. 2, Page Six reported that before "Good Morning America" star T.J. Holmes cheated on his wife, Marilee Fiebig (pictured), with co-anchor Amy Robach, he had a three-year affair with a then-married "GMA" producer, Natasha Singh, that kicked off in 2016. "She fell in love with him. He had a key to her apartment," a source said. Marilee reportedly uncovered the affair when she found damning emails between T.J. and Natasha in 2019. According to a second source, Marilee "never considered" the possibility that T.J. could also be cheating on her with Amy because "she was focused on Natasha" and because Amy was friends with both women. Ultimately, Amy's friendship with Natasha troubled Marilee, who "didn't understand how their friend and her husband's co-host could remain friends with the woman who tried to break up their marriage," the first source said, adding that Natasha and Amy drifted apart this spring "because [Amy] was so close to T.J." Marilee only began to question Amy's relationship with her husband over the summer. They were still "fully together" in August when Marilee found a birthday card from Amy to T.J. that "brought back the old Natasha drama," prompting Marilee to realize "she couldn't trust him anymore." Yet another Page Six source said that T.J. and Marilee were actually separated but working on their marriage when she learned about his affair with Amy: "She's devastated. She had no idea. They haven't been together in [a while], but they were trying to work it out," the insider said. On Dec. 5, Page Six reported that in addition to Amy and Natasha, T.J. also had an affair with at least one more "GMA" staffer whose identity is still under wraps.

Amid reports that Amy Robach has been in the midst of a months-long affair with her "Good Morning America" co-anchor T.J. Holmes, Page Six reported on Dec. 1 that her divorce from her husband of more than a decade, "Melrose Place" actor Andrew Shue, is "almost finalized." Said a source, "He moved out earlier this summer. They've constantly had problems over the years and they finally broke up." Echoed a second source, "[They] had their rocky moments — they almost broke up a few times over the years." There are still conflicting reports about when exactly Amy and T.J. took their relationship to the next level, but according to a third Page Six source, "they're very happy" together. "They are both broken up from their spouses and they're two consenting adults — they have the right to do what they want," the source said.

On Nov. 30, James Woods was snapped sporting what appeared to be a wedding band while out with his much-younger partner of around six years, photographer Sara Miller. (See photos here.) In the spring 2021, the age-mismatched couple — the 75-year-old Oscar nominee is more than twice his 33-year-old love's age — sparked rumors they'd quietly gotten engaged.

On Dec. 3 — more than four years after their romance first made headlines — Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson finally made their official red carpet debut as a couple at the Dior Fall 2023 Menswear presentation in Giza, Egypt. The duo were also photographed looking happier than ever while holding hands inside the event.

During an interview with Page Six that debuted online on Dec. 5, Aubrey O'Day referred to Donald Trump's eldest child, son Donald Trump Jr., as her "soulmate in life" and admitted that she still loves him: "I love him. Love, loved, love. I'll always have love for him," she said, adding that "he was just like" her but then broke up with her to "go be the president's son." Said the reality star and former Danity Kane member, "I have a bleeding heart, and I stand up for people that don't have a voice. And when I have it, I will use as much of it as I can to push agendas for people that deserve to be seen. And he loved all of those things about me. And the man you're seeing now probably wouldn't." She went on to claim that Don Jr. was "a different human" when they dated: "He was fiscally a Republican, but everything else was not. And for me, I just kind of saw him sell out. … I saw him choose a life that was inauthentic — for status, power, whatever it is. I'm so disappointed in what he became," she said, noting that their breakup was "very hard" for her. "I think to find what [we] had is probably going to be very, very difficult. And I'm not banking on it. I completely gave up on [love] after that. … If I'm being very honest, I've had moments where I wonder if someone will love me the way he loved me ever again," she continued, adding that if she "could be loved like that again," she might even "have a red [MAGA] hat on" today. The singer allegedly had an affair with the former president's son in 2011 and 2012 while he was still married to Vanessa Trump, who filed for divorce in 2018. An insider previously told Page Six that the 45th POTUS encouraged his son to end the affair, though according to a second source, Junior was so serious about Aubrey at the time, he told Vanessa he was planning to leave her for the "Celebrity Apprentice" alum. According to a third source, the Trump family successfully "pressured him to stay in his marriage." Aubrey alleged to Page Six that she later discovered Don. Jr. cheated on Vanessa with multiple women. Her biggest fear, she said, was finding out that "everything that happened between us wasn't real" because she "never really knew how hard he fought" for her. Don Jr. got engaged to former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle in late 2020.

On Dec. 7, Toni Collette took to Instagram to announce that she and her husband of nearly two decades, drummer Dave Galafassi, recently called it quits: "It is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing. We're united in our decision and part with continuing respect and care for each other. Our [two] kids are of paramount importance to us and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit a different shape. We're thankful for the space and love you grant us as we evolve and move through this transition peacefully," the Oscar-nominated "The Sixth Sense" actress wrote. DailyMail.com, meanwhile, reported that Toni shared the breakup news mere hours after Daily Mail Australia reached out to the Australian actress's representatives about photos of Dave kissing another woman at a Sydney beach on Dec. 6.

Kanye West's most recent love interest, Juliana Nalú, has removed herself from the narrative. On Dec. 5, the model took to Instagram to share a slideshow of photos from a recent photoshoot. In the comments section, a fan asked Juliana how she can associate with an antisemite, prompting her to respond, "I'm single. Thanks for caring."

On Dec. 2 — a few days after Jesse James's fifth wife, former adult film actress Bonnie Rotten (real name: Alaina Hicks), publicly accused the West Coast Choppers founder of cheating on her while simultaneously announcing she's pregnant — the "Monster Garage" alum took to Instagram to share a since-deleted post insisting he never strayed from the marriage. "I didn't cheat on you, I swear! … I've never thought about cheating on you. I've never tried to cheat on you. I've never had the urge to cheat on you. You are the only one I want, forever. … Every chick that was hanging around back then got told I was in love with you and I couldn't see them anymore. This was me making efforts to secure your trust and do things the right way," he wrote. He went on to admit that while he was under the impression Bonnie was leaving him and "really thought we were done," he texted an ex "out of anger and spite." He then promised to unfollow the ex and to refrain from contacting her again. "I want to be a positive and fix everything with us. I've learned from my past mistakes and I will do whatever it takes to make you happy, and gain your love and trust. Please come home. I love you," he continued. He later added in a second since-deleted post, "I love my wife. Like really love her. … [She's] a strong, smart, kind, beautiful woman who is a perfect wife and an amazing mother. I am very proud to be her husband and best friend. Nothing anyone says will change my feelings for her. … Like every couple on the planet, my wife and I argue. [A previous] argument led to her going through my phone. (I have nothing to hide.) She was very emotional because she's pregnant and hormonal." He added that by the time the drama made headlines, they'd "already worked out our differences … and everything was ok." Bonnie, meanwhile, explained on her Instagram Story on Dec. 5 that although she filed for divorce on Dec. 1, she quickly called off her plans to legally end the marriage. "Yes, I filed for divorce. The next day, I filed a nonsuit to stop the divorce. I love Jesse so much and was very hurt by what I saw when I went through his phone," she wrote in part, adding that she was "back home" with her husband because "he didn't say anything inappropriate" or "talk about 'having sex or meeting up with anyone.'" Continued the expectant mom, "That's why I am here working out the marriage that I believe in." She also expressed regret over her decision to publicly air their dirty laundry. "I would like to have peace in this time as I work on my relationship with my husband. There's nothing more to it. … Thankfully, everything is back to status quo over here," she wrote. Us Weekly later confirmed that legal documents show Bonnie did, in fact, file for divorce in Texas on Dec. 1 before filing to have her petition for divorce dismissed the very next day. But the reconciliation was to be short-lived: According to TMZ, Bonnie filed for divorce for a second time on Dec. 6.

On Nov. 29, Rami Malek and Lea Seydoux were snapped looking cozy together following a dinner date in Los Angeles: In photos exclusively published by DailyMail.com, the duo — who co-starred in the 25th James Bond movie, 2021's "No Time to Die" — can be seen hugging and walking arm-in-arm after dining on sushi for two hours. "[They] looked extremely close and were having a great night. … They clearly enjoy each other's company a lot and seemed to be very friendly," said a spy. The hangout sparked questions about the status of Rami's relationship of several years with "Bohemian Rhapsody" co-star Lucy Boynton and Lea's uber-private partnership of nearly a decade with model Andre Meyer. In mid-November, several anonymous sources told Deux Moi that Rami and Lucy had quietly tied the knot.

According to Just Jared, former child star Kodi Smit-McPhee got engaged to his girlfriend of nearly a decade, Rebecca Phillipou, on a rooftop in their hometown of Melbourne, Australia, on Dec. 2. "She was so shocked and surprised, but completely over the moon. They've been a couple for almost nine years and after purchasing a home together last month, they are ready to take the next step in life together," a source said, adding that "it was such a precious moment" when the Oscar-nominated "The Power of the Dog" actor popped the question on bended knee.

On Nov. 29, The U.S. Sun broke the news that "Selling Sunset" star Amanza Smith recently split from Dutch soccer star Ryan Babel following nearly three years of low-key coupledom. "She is currently single," her rep confirmed. According to a source, only Amanza's "close friends" — including some of her "Selling Sunset" co-stars — spent time with Ryan while they were together. "They were preparing to come out publicly a few months ago with a whole photoshoot of them together but life got in the way and their schedules didn't match up. They found it difficult making a long-distance relationship work, especially since Amanza has [her two] kids full time and her career is in Los Angeles," the source said. (Ryan plays for an Istanbul-based soccer club.)

That was fast! On Dec. 5 — less than two months after Liam Payne and Kate Cassidy were first publicly linked — the duo made their red carpet debut as a couple at The Fashion Awards in London. On Dec. 5, Kevin McKidd's wife of five years, Arielle Goldrath, filed for divorce in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, she listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and asked for joint legal and physical custody of their two kids. The "Grey's Anatomy" actor took to Instagram back in July to announce that a few months earlier, he and Arielle had "decided to end the marriage portion of our relationship."

On Dec. 4, "The White Lotus" actor Lukas Gage was snapped catching a ride with Claudia Sulewski following Jennifer Klein's star-studded Day of Indulgence holiday party in Los Angeles. Billie Eilish's big bro celebrated Thanksgiving by sharing several photos with the actress and podcast host on Instagram, indicating they're still going strong. As for Lukas? He and Claudia have been friends for years — since before they co-starred on the 2016 webseries "T@gged."

On Dec. 7, Page Six published a statement from Arielle Charnas's representative shooting down rumors that the fashion influencer and her husband of nearly a decade, Brandon Charnas, are calling it quits. "This is patently false. They are happily married and in love," the rep said, later adding that the allegations against them are "part of a disgusting, coordinated smear campaign attempting to damage [their] reputations and lives." Meanwhile, Matthew Scanlan — the CEO of Arielle's company, Something Navy — released a statement to WWD insisting that rumors Brandon embezzled funds from the brand are "categorically false." Said Matthew, "Brandon Charnas does not have access to company bank accounts. He is not an employee of the company, and he has no access points."
