Crime: DUI, resisting arrest, and driving without a valid driver's license on Jan. 23, 2014.
Punishment:
The singer has been released on $2,500 bail and will most likely get his license suspended. And possibly a whole lot more! Oh, baby, baby, baby …
Crime: Probation violation in March 2013.
Punishment:
In March 2013, LiLo struck a deal that would allow her to enter a lockdown rehab facility for 90 days in lieu of going to jail. The road to getting her to rehab was a little bumpy — she couldn't decide which facility she wanted to be in — but she's since seemingly stayed on the straight and narrow since she was released from rehab in the fall of 2013.
Crime: Disorderly conduct after her husband, Jim Toth, was arrested for DUI in Atlanta in April 2013.
Punishment:
The actress paid a $313 fine while her husband of nearly three years will be on probation for 12 months, must complete 40 hours of community service and attend a program given by Mother's Against Drunk Driving.
Dina Lohan
Crime: DUI in New York on Sept. 13, 2013.
Punishment
LiLo's mother has surrendered her license and has been attending substance abuse counseling.
Crime: Reckless endangerment after she threw a bong out of her apartment in New York in the spring of 2013.
Punishment:
In the midst of her legal woes, Amanda was placed on an involuntary hold at a psychiatric hospital. This case was dropped, but she is due in court in June 2014 for a progress report for her probation period, stemming from her DUI arrest in 2012.
Lauryn Hill
Crime: Failure to pay federal income taxes.
Punishment:
The singer served her three-month jail sentence and was released from prison in October 2013.
Rick Springfield
Crime: DUI while in Los Angeles in 2011.
Punishment:
Initially, the singer struck a plea deal that put him on three months probation and ordered him to attend two months of traffic school. But after he missed a court appearance to prove that he had completed his classes, Rick was arrested and fined $1,555.
Heather Locklear
Crime: Reckless driving, after her DUI charge was dropped in 2008.
Punishment:
The actress was sentenced to three years informal probation, DMV driver's safety class and was fined $700.
Chris Klein
Crime: Arrested for his second DUI in 2010.
Punishment:
The actor spent 96 hours in jail and two months in rehab. Additionally, the court ordered him to serve four years probation, to attend 18 months of alcohol education classes and to pay an assortment of fines.
Nick Carter
Crime: DUI in 2005.
Punishment:
The Backstreet Boys singer attended AA meetings and received counseling and has since said that his punishment helped him learn a lot.
Robert Downey Jr.
Crime: Being under the influence of a controlled substance while roaming an alley in LA in 1998.
Punishment: Nothing, besides being fired from "Ally McBeal." However, he's spent about a year in a half in jail for various offenses.

Mel Gibson
Crime: Driving under the influence in 2006.
Punishment: Three years probation, four and a half months of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings five times a week, followed by seven and a half months of meetings three times a week, three months participation in an alcohol abuse program, $1300 in fines, and license restricted for 90 days.

Hugh Grant
Crime: Lewd conduct in a public place and soliciting a prostitute in 1995.
Punishment: $1,180 in fines, two years probation, and participation in an AIDS education program.

Crime: Driving under the influence after driving the wrong way on an LA freeway in 2006.
Punishment: 82 minutes in jail, four years probation (increased to five in 2010), and required alcohol education classes. In 2003, Nicole was also arrested for heroin possession and driving with a suspended license.

Punishment: Nothing — the case was dropped. However, in 1998, Shia refused to take a Breathalyzer test after a car crash and had his license suspended for one year. That same year, he was fined $500 after a warrant was issued for his arrest after he ignored a sidewalk smoking charge.

Punishment: Mischa got three years' probation as part of a plea agreement. Since she was a first-time offender, she was also ordered to pay a $2,000 fine and to complete a three-month alcohol-related education class.

Foxy Brown
Crime: Battery and obstruction of justice after she spat and threw glue at a beauty supply store employee who caught her using products in the bathroom in 2007.
Punishment: Forfeiture of her $1,500 bond and eventually served seven months of a year-long jail sentence for various probation violations. On July 21, 2010, Foxy was arrested for flashing her neighbor and violating a restraining order the neighbor had against her.
Chace Crawford
Crime: Possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.
Punishment: Maximum sentence is 6 months in jail, but we doubt he'll do any time. A judge is scheduled to sentence him on August 20.

Matthew Rutler
Crime: Matthew Rutler, Christina Aguilera's boyfriend, was arrested for alleged drunk driving.
James Brown
Crime: Domestic violence for allegedly pushing his wife to the floor during an argument in 2004.
Punishment: Forfeited a $1087 bond.
Andy Dick
Crime: Andy Dick was arrested at a restaurant for allegedly being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
Anna Nicole Smith
Crime: Driving under the influence in 1989.
Punishment: Two years probation.
Crime: Carrying a concealed weapon and assault (of a guy who was kissing his ex-wife) in Warren, Mich.
Punishment: Suspended jail sentence; never served time.

Macauley Culkin
Crime: Possession of marijuana and possession of Xanax and sleeping pills without a prescription.
Punishment: Jailed briefly before posting $4,000 bond. The judge dropped the charge after Culkin successfully completed probation requirements and a drug test.

Crime: Possession of dangerous drugs, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia in 2008.
Punishment: Three years probation. However, he's currently serving eight months to one year at Rikers Island for a 2007 gun possession charge.

Punishment: Spent one night in jail.
Mario
Crime: Mario was arrested for allegedly attacking his mom and leaving her in fear for her life.
Crime: Felony second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief against wife Brooke Mueller.
Punishment: The sentencing hearing has been delayed, but there has been talk that he is expected to serve 30 days in jail plus community service. He's still trying to hash out a plea deal that would keep him from serving any time in jail.

Crime: Possession of narcotics in 1994.
Punishment: Six months in jail.
Crime: Allegedly stabbing a record executive at a nightclub in Manhattan.
Punishment: Originally charged with felony assault, Jay-Z ended with a reduced misdemeanor and three years' probation after pleading guilty.
Rip Torn
Crime: Driving under the influence in 2006.
Punishment: Driver's license suspended for 90 days and a $380 fine.
Crime: Two misdemeanor counts of DUI in California on Aug. 2, 2011.

Crime: Jenelle Evans from "Teen Mom 2" was arrested and charged with assault after being caught on video tape.
Nicolas Cage
Crime: Charged initially with domestic abuse, public drunkenness and disturbing the peace in New Orleans' French Quarter after fighting with his wife about which rental properties was theirs.
Punishment: The NOPD decided Nic's actions did not warrant a criminal charge. He was released after Dog the Bounty Hunter coughed up $11,000 on his behalf.
Jacob Lusk
Crime: Lusk was cited for riding a Los Angeles metro without a buying a ticket.
Tommy Lee
Crime: Disorderly conduct, inciting a riot and assault at a Motley Crue concert in Greensboro, N.C.
Punishment: Pleaded "no contest" to the charges in 2000 (some 6 years after the incident) and received 18 months probation.
