Alan Arkin, the lovable actor who won an Oscar for his role in 2006's "Little Miss Sunshine" and starred in "Argo" and "The Kominsky Method," passed at the age of 89, his family announced on Friday, June 30. "Our father was a uniquely talented force of nature, both as an artist and a man. A loving husband, father, grand and great grandfather, he was adored and will be deeply missed," his sons, Adam, Matthew, and Anthony, said in a statement. Beloved in the Hollywood community with a seven-decade career, Alan was also respected in theater, as he won a Tony in 1963 for "Enter Laughing." Following his death, many in Hollywood publicly paid tribute to the great Alan Arkin.
