To little surprise, Congresswoman Liz Cheney was defeated in Wyoming's Republican primary on Wednesday, Aug. 16. Cheney's loss was widely expected, as many Cowboy State Republicans turned on her for voting to impeach Donald Trump and help lead the Jan. 6 committee. The daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney has vowed to help steer her party away from Trump's influence. After the resounding loss, many in the entertainment world — on both sides of the aisle — reacted to the defeat.
