Sam Asghari's wedding band returns as Britney vacations without him
Britney Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, are A-OK, despite recent reports to the contrary, according to Sam. Speculation about the couple's marriage began earlier this week after Britney was photographed in Los Angeles without her wedding ring ahead of a beach vacation with her pal and manager, Cade Hudson. A few days later, as Britney traveled without her husband, the Daily Mail published photos of Sam running an errand near the couple's home in Thousand Oaks, California, that showed he'd also removed his wedding band. But on Friday (March 31), Sam's rep, Brandon Cohen, told Page Six Sam took his ring off because he's filming a new movie. That's also why he couldn't join Britney in Mexico, according to his rep. Sam, meanwhile, shared a series of selfies on his Instagram Stories that showed his wedding band is back on his left hand. At the end of the pics, he tossed in a jokey shot of Britney holding her wedding ring-bedazzled finger up to the camera that they'd used as an engagement announcement. "She does it better," he quipped in the caption. Britney, meanwhile, was still ring-less Friday when she posted an Instagram video from her getaway with Cade that showed the two dancing around a kitchen in a bikini and swim trunks. Britney and Sam said "I do" at the singer's home in June 2022.

Pete Davidson says 'SNL' jokes about his love life made him feel 'insecure' and 'small'
Pete Davidson finds the world's obsession with his love life "confusing." But what really upsets him is when more attention gets paid to who he's dating than the acting and comedy work that made him famous to begin with. On the latest edition of the "Real Ones With Jon Berthnal" podcast, the "Saturday Night Live" alum spoke candidly about how the attention has affected him in recent years. "I'm in my 20's and I've dated people. And for some reason, that's very crazy and interesting to people. … In 12 years I've dated 10 people. I don't think that's that crazy, but to some people, that's very interesting. That became all anyone would talk about."
The spotlight on Pete's romantic endeavors began shining in earnest in 2018 when he got engaged to Ariana Grande after just a few months of dating. After their highly publicized breakup, Pete, who struggles with depression and other mental health issues, spoke out about being bullied as a result of their split. He's since ditched all social media, but as he noted on the "Real Ones" podcast, that hasn't mitigated public interest in his personal relationships. "I'm not, like, flexing, you know what I mean? And these people that I've dated, I met them at work," he continued. "Suddenly you're in this zeitgeist and that has nothing to do with the work. And that's a really s***** feeling. I became more known before the work was there, but I was always working." Pete said that he's "cool" with his "late-night friends" poking fun at his relationships with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kate Beckinsale. Similar jokes about his love life on "SNL" were another matter, though.
"When it's your own show, and I'll be sitting in the back watching the cold open and [it's] topical political humor or whatever in the culture, and they're making fun of you and you gotta walk out and do a sketch next and hit your mark — the show just made fun of you, so why are they going to laugh at you? They just dogged you," he explained. "It was a really difficult thing to do. You feel insecure. You feel like a small person."

Neil Diamond says he's finally come to terms with his Parkinson's diagnosis
Five years after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, Neil Diamond is finally started to accept the reality of his condition. "I'm still doing it. And I don't like it," the singer says of coming to terms with the neurodegenerative disorder in an interview for "CBS Sunday Morning" set to air Sunday (April 2). "But … this is me; this is what I have to accept. And I'm willing to do it. And, OK, so this is the hand that God's given me, and I have to make the best of it, and so I am. I am."
Neil, 82, announced his retirement from touring in 2018 after he was diagnosed. Though he was forced to cancel his remaining tour dates to focus on his health at the time, he has performed in public on a few occasions since then, while continuing to work on other projects. In the "CBS Sunday Morning" segment, Neil reflects on his newfound acceptance of living with Parkinson's, saying that's only come "in the last few weeks" and it's brought him a sense of relaxation. "Somehow, a calm has moved [into] the hurricane of my life, and things have gotten very quiet, as quiet as this recording studio. And I like it," he explains. "I find that I like myself better. I'm easier on people. I'm easier on myself. And the beat goes on, and it will go on long after I'm gone." A member of both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Neil's life story recently inspired the Broadway show, "A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical."
Duchess Meghan wins defamation suit filed by half-sister Samantha
Meghan Markle scored a win against her half-sister in court this week when a judge ruled to dismiss Samantha Markle's claims Meghan defamed her with "injurious falsehoods" and "malicious lies" in contexts including Meghan's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The Daily Beast reports a Florida judge granted a motion to dismiss Samantha's case on Thursday (March 30), one year after she sued her famous half-sibling. Among Samantha's complaints were Meghan's claims she grew up as "an only child," that she only met Samantha "a handful of times" and that Samantha changed her last name to Markle only after Meghan's relationship with Prince Harry went public. (Meghan and Samantha share the same father, Thomas Markle.) According to the court's ruling, Meghan "merely expresses an opinion about her childhood and her relationship with her half-siblings" in her interview with Oprah, she doesn't claim the half-siblings don't exist. Samantha also accused Meghan of having spread a false narrative about their backgrounds in a book Meghan neither wrote nor published, which the court said absolved the duchess of potential defamatory guilt. Samantha's request to have her half-sister cover her attorneys' fees and legal costs was also denied.
Carrie Ann Inaba hospitalized for emergency appendectomy
"Dancing With the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba is recovering from a bout with acute appendicitis that required emergency surgery and a four-night hospital stay. She detailed her experience with the sudden illness in a long post on Instagram on Thursday (March 30), thanking the staff at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and explaining that she delayed a trip to the doctor because she suffers from multiple autoimmune diseases and is used to chronic pain.
"I had an emergency appendectomy last week and while it's been quite a painful experience, I also know it's a gift to even feel this pain," she wrote alongside a video from her hospital bed. "I realize after speaking with my doctor that it could have been much worse," she continued. Carrie Ann, 55, has battled lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis and Sjorgren's syndrome for years, and as she shared on Instagram, living with autoimmune diseases means "you are often having strange health occurrences that no one can explain or help you with so sometimes, you try to wait it out, like I did." Admitting that was the "wrong" move, she wrote: "I should have come straight to the hospital right when the pain in my abdomen started, after the sudden and violent vomiting that knocked me off my feet. I should have gone when I couldn't stand without excruciating pain… but I honestly didn't want to leave my babies, and I'm so accustomed to pain —thought I should let it play out." Before signing off, she urged fans, "If you have pain in your abdomen, please have it checked out because it could be something very serious."
Phoebe Bridgers says she was bullied her on her way to her father's funeral
In her new project, Boygenius, singer Phoebe Bridgers has found there are some unexpected perks to starting a band with your besties. Namely, you don't have to deal with the dark sides of fame alone. As Phoebe recently told Them in an interview alongside her bandmates Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, trolls targeted her as she was traveling to her dad's funeral. "People with my picture as their Twitter picture, who claim to like my music, f****** bullied me at the airport on the way to my father's funeral this year," she told the outlet. (Though she didn't elaborate on what the bullying was about, Billboard notes the singer sparked rumors about her relationship with Paul Mescal in January when she was photographed at an airport with comic Bo Burnham.) "If you're a kid and the internet somehow taught you that that's an OK thing to do, then of course I hate capitalism and everything that led you to believe that it's OK to do that," she said. "I, at one of the lowest points of my life, saw people who claim to love me … dehumanize me and shame me and f****** bully me on the way to my dad's wake." In the end, though, she said it was her bandmates who've helped her manage boundaries and refuse to believe that kind of "abuse" is "part of my job."
