Taylor Swift just had 'the best Friday' ever thanks to Beyonce
As we near the end of Women's History Month, two of the most accomplished women in music are celebrating one another's historic talents. At the last weekend's Grammy Awards, Beyonce became the most-awarded woman in Grammys history when she snagged four prizes, bringing her trophy total to a whopping 28. Bey's top honors included Best R&B Performance ("Black Parade"); Best Music Video ("Brown Skin Girl"), plus Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance (Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage Remix"). Taylor Swift had a historic "first" that night, too — she became the first woman ever to win three Album of the Year Awards ("Folklore," "Fearless," "1989"). Fast forward to Friday, March 19, and here's how Taylor kicked off her day: "Woke up to flowers from the queen of grace and greatness @beyonce, and suddenly it's the best Friday ever," the singer wrote on her Instagram Story (via Glamour). "Thank you, B, and congratulations on your epic achievement Sunday night." She shared a picture of the handwritten note Beyonce had sent, as well. "Taylor, congratulations on your Grammy," it read. "It was great seeing you on Sunday night. Thank you for always being so supportive. Sending love to you and your family." Anyone else sense a collaboration in the works?!

Rachel Lindsay says she's done covering 'The Bachelor' after criticizing producers' response to racial tensions
Former "Bachelorette" Rachel Lindsay announced on her "Higher Learning" podcast this week that she and her pod partner Van Lathan won't be covering the next season of "The Bachelor" after the producers' response to racial tensions that have long plagued the franchise. She also warned fans that their recent bullying tactics against "Bachelor" star Matt James in the wake of his split from Rachael Kirkconnell would likely destroy the series in the end. The social media attacks against Matt came after he told Rachael the resurfaced 2018 photos of her attending an antebellum-themed party, among other racially charged situations, made it impossible for him to pursue a life with someone who, "might not understand what it's like to be Black in America." Speaking to Van on her podcast (via Bustle), Rachel said, "It's wild out there, y'all. It's so toxic." She continued: "Bachelor Nation, y'all are gonna be the reason this show doesn't exist anymore, 'cause you're so … toxic. … You're vile. You're harassing Matt for a decision that he made. He supports the girl. He's allowing her to do it on her own. Let's move on." She also slammed the decision to pick two "Bachelorette" stars for the coming year, one Black woman and one white woman, after months of rumors indicated the white woman, Katie Thurston, had been selected. "Come on, y'all," Rachel said. "I like Michelle a lot, but this is the problem with the franchise. The answer is not giving us a Black 'Bachelorette.' If you're really trying to fix your issues, that's not it." Matt, meanwhile, cleaned house on Instagram this week, scrubbing the account clean of everything but a Story post. It was a screenshot of his tweet from Friday that read, 3/21/21. March 21 is recognized as the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Olivia Munn was among the many famous voices who spoke out about the increase in anti-Asian hate speech and violence after this week's shooting deaths of eight people, six of whom were women of Asian descent, at spas in the Atlanta area. "The violent attacks and murders against Asians are still happening. Please help us," she tweeted, adding, "We need help to be safe in our country. #StopAsianHate. Please." Olivia, a first-generation American whose mother is of Chinese-Vietnamese descent, has been speaking out regularly about the rise in violence towards Asian-Americans over the course of the past year. She did so again onSiriusXM's "Gayle King in the House" on Thursday, where she praised President Biden for honoring the victims of the shooting by asking that flags across the country be lowered to half-mast. Explaining that she's on a group text with journalist Lisa Ling and others, Olivia told Gayle (via ET): "… I'm just thinking about what she said in the text on our chain — she's like, 'It just means so much to us to have someone at that level say that these eight women, these eight Asian women, that they matter and that all of the flags across our country will go at half mast for them. It was an emotional moment for all of us, and we all took a moment and just cried together." In addition to ordering that flags be flown at half mast until sunset on Monday, President Biden spent Friday afternoon with Vice President Kamala Harris in Atlanta, meeting with "Asian-American leaders to discuss the ongoing attacks and threats against the community," White House officials told the New York Times.

Britney Spears' fans want Oprah Winfrey to interview her a la Harry and Meghan
The last time Oprah Winfrey conducted a major sit-down interview with Britney Spears was in 2002 in the wake of her "Oops … I Did It Again" and eponymous albums. Now, fans on social media are urging the media mogul and singer to reunite for another sit-down, a la the bombshell Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan special. In Britney's case, of course, the tell-all topics would likely be similar to what was covered in the "Framing Britney Spears" doc, which looked at the excessive scrutiny the singer was subjected to for most of her young life — scrutiny that contributed to the breakdown she had in 2007, which resulted in her father taking over the conservatorship she's now fighting. "Can't stop thinking about how much we need an Oprah interview with Britney," one Twitter user posted this week, adding, "It would absolutely change her life." Reality podcaster Kate Casey asked Oprah directly to consider it, tweeting, "Dear @Oprah – We need you to interview Britney now." Whether Britney would even be allowed to participate in a sit-down is unclear, but a source told ET this week that she's considered it, if only for the opportunity to tell her own story. The insider also said there would be a formal process in place were she to begin negotiating anything with Oprah. Back in 2002, when Britney spoke to Oprah at age 20, she discussed getting to a point in her life where others weren't telling her what to do. "They mean well," she said, according to Page Six. "I think there is a factor about me that people want to protect."

"Where are all the big girls?" That's how a neon green bikini-clad Lizzo kicked off an Instagram video announcing her next project on Friday. As she explained to the camera while being surrounded by a couple of dancing pals, the singer is developing a competition series with Amazon Studios to find "dynamic, full-figured women" dancers and models to join her tour. "I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!" she captioned the post. "Are you a full figured dancer or model? Have you felt underrepresented and under appreciated? THEN I'M LOOKIN FOR YOU! It's time to find my dream team of beautifully talented big grrrls … We are casting NOW so head to BigGrrrls.com to apply …it's time to change the game!" According to TheWrap, the Lizzo has "a first-look deal" with Amazon Studios to get the show off the ground. If it gets a green light, she's set to executive produce as well as star in the series.
Alleged stalker arrested inside Pete Davidson's home after claiming they were married
One of Pete Davidson's relatives had an unwanted surprise on Thursday when a woman reportedly showed up at the kitchen table in the comic's home in New York City, according to TMZ. It seems she walked in through an open door after having sent out a press release earlier in the week announcing that she and Pete were married and launching Bodega Cats Presents, an entertainment company. Pete's lawyer says the actor has never met the woman. She was reportedly arrested for stalking, harassment, criminal trespassing and trespassing.
Kris Jenner weighs in on Kim Kardashian, Kanye West split as Caitlyn Jenner confirms final season appearance
Ahead of Thursday's "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" final season premiere, Kris Jenner finally broke her silence on Kim Kardashian West's split from Kanye West after seven years of marriage. "I think it's always going to be hard any time … you know, there's a lot of kids," she explained on "The Kyle and Jackie O Show," per People. "The good thing about our family is that we are there for each other and supportive and we love each other very, very much — so all I want is for those two kids to be happy," she said of Kim and Kanye's future. "And I want the kids to be happy. That's the goal." As the family's last season gets underway, Kris also said viewers "might" see Kim move to end her marriage after months of rumors that she and Kanye were headed for a split. "I don't know what they have decided on in the finale because we haven't even seen the first show yet," Kris noted. "I'm sure they're putting some final touches, but I think it's just a private time for them." As for when Kim might address the divorce publicly, Kris said her daughter "wanted to deal with this with her own family in her own time …," adding, "When she feels like it, I'm sure she'll say what she needs to say." Kim's former stepfather, Caitlyn Jenner, weighed in on Kim and Kanye's split as well on Thursday. Speaking to People for the outlet's TV show, Caitlyn said only that "at some point, [Kim] will probably come out [and] make a statement, but it's her statement and not mine." Caitlyn also confirmed she'll appear in the final season of the long-running show, though she didn't share and details.
Dolly Parton gets her own comic book
Dolly Parton is comic book-bound. The 75-year-old singer-songwriter, actress, producer and philanthropist is set to star in her own edition of a new "Female Force" book, where writer Michael Frizell and artist Ramon Salas will animate the story of her life in 22 pages, according to TidalWaveComics, which publishes the series. Previous editions have featured Kamala Harris, Tina Fey, Betty White, Michelle Obama, Barbra Streisand, Cher and more stars. "Writing about Dolly was a joy," Michael said in a statement. "Her creativity, philanthropy and humanity are legendary." Dolly — who recently won another Grammy Award and funded $1 million worth of research for the Moderna coronavirus vaccine — joins the "Female Force" stacks beginning March 31.

As the royal family tackles allegations of racism and more in the wake of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's CBS interview, insiders tell People the dynamic between the Duke of Sussex, his brother, Prince William, and their father, Prince Charles, is more "complicated" than it may appear. In his sit-down with Oprah Winfrey, Harry said Charles stopped taking his phone calls in 2020 after he and Meghan announced they'd be stepping back from their royal roles. William and Harry have reportedly been in touch since the interview aired, but it's not clear yet how Prince Charles will factor in if the brothers resolve their tensions. "There has always been this complicated relationship with their dad," a palace source says. "It's not a straightforward father-son relationship. He is their father and their boss, and they are beholden to him to fund their offices and lives." Charles, whose tense relationship with his own father, Prince Philip, inspired a large portion of plotlines in "The Crown," "generates an income of $30 million a year" through his Duchy of Cornwall estate. according to People. He reportedly uses that to pay for his office and those of his children and their wives — now, minus Harry and Meghan. Another insider adds, "Tension between Charles and the boys has always surrounded money, because Charles is the one who holds all the power." Harry has said he still has the money his late mother, Prince Diana, left him when she died.
