Ranch battle
Kelly Clarkson's fight with her ex-husband over her Montana ranch roars on. Last fall, the "Since U Been Gone" singer was awarded the ranch during her divorce from former manager Brandon Blackstock. Brandon, though, argued that it was marital property and he's continues to live there. A judge decided the ranch was Kelly's, though refused to kick Brandon off the property. Now, People magazine is reporting that Kelly has given her ex a small percentage of the place, according to court records — 5.12%, which is worth about $908,800. The whole ranch is valued at $17,750,000. People mag further reported that documents make it clear that Brandon does not have any ownership interest in an adjoining property that Kelly solely owns.

More than meets the eye?
On Jan. 20, Adele blamed COVID and delivery delays as the reasons for postponing her highly touted Las Vegas residency show at Caesars Palace at the 11th hour. There's growing suspicion that more things could be at play. The Daily Mail alleged that the Caesars team wanted the singer to perform "Skyfall" with a 60-strong choir and claimed that Adele's "stage fright" got the better of her. Adele supposedly wanted things to be more "low-key" and "all about the voice." Naysayers are scoffing at that notion, arguing that she could just sit on a stool and sing if that were the case. An industry source said there's more here than meets the eye and casted doubt on Adele ever making up the dates. "Nobody cancels the day before. You have more than 24 hours' notice of COVID problems. I hear that Adele never wanted to do the Vegas shows in the first place," the source said. "I very much doubt that they will be rescheduled; I don't think she's up to performing at this level for this amount of dates… She is a recording artist and not a performer and she should never have agreed to these shows in the first place." Further, Adele has acknowledged many times that she suffers from stage fright. "She hates being on the stage. For her to commit to going on stage every weekend for three months is madness," the source said. "The point was always going to come when she would decide she wasn't going to do it."

Julia Fox insists that she doesn't care one iota about the newfound fame that's come from her in-your-face romance with Kanye West. During the latest episode of her podcast, "Forbidden Fruits," the "Uncut Gems" actress clapped back at accusations she's dating Kanye for money and fame. "It's funny cause I'm getting all of this attention, but I really couldn't care less," she said, adding that she was an attention seeker when she was younger, but not anymore. "People are like 'Oh, you're only in it for the fame, you're in it for the clout, you're in it for the money.' Honey, I've dated billionaires my entire adult life, let's keep it real." Julia said she wishes fans would watch her movies or read her book instead of focusing on the romance.

Awful accident
Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a nasty auto accident on one of Los Angeles' busiest streets on Jan. 21, but he's unharmed. However, one person was reportedly badly injured. Photos from the mayhem show that the "Terminator" star's SUV rolled over on top of a much smaller Prius. His SUV then continued rolling into a Porsche Taycan. (The Prius driver was injured and bleeding heavily from her head, TMZ reported.) The accident, which occurred on Sunset Boulevard, happened about a mile from Arnold's home. Police reportedly believe that the former governor of California turned left when the left turn arrow was still red and that he's at fault for the accident. Arnold was not ticketed and is very concerned about the injured woman, a source told the webloid, adding that the A-lister wanted to personally check up on her.

Is Khloe Kardashian finally finished with Tristan Thompson? According to a source, the reality TV star had moved on from the NBA star's cheating past and was ready to welcome him back into her home a few months ago — then she learned he'd fathered another child, this one with a woman named Maralee Nicholls. (Tristan and Maralee, who filed a paternity suit in late 2021, slept together while he was still exclusive with Khloe.) According to a Jan. 21 report from "Entertainment Tonight," Khloe has since told Tristan he's not moving in with her. "Khloe and Tristan were in a good place before the news about Maralee being pregnant came out and had plans to move in together," a source told "ET." "Tristan has since pulled out of escrow on his house in Encino, California, that he was in the process of selling, and is no longer moving in with Khloe." The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star is said to be "really hurt and saddened by Tristan's actions and his public apology isn't helping."
Political thoughts
Goldie Hawn has impressively kept her political viewpoints to herself for decades. Why? She doesn't think celebrity voices really move the needle much in regard to voting. "A lot of Hollywood has a lot of mission, right? And you know, you want to put your name onto something that you believe in, but it doesn't make a difference," she told SiriusXM's "The Megyn Kelly Show" on Jan. 21. "And that's the reality, is that if you are someone in the industry and you want to go into politics or you want to talk about these things, you know, I stay in my lane. And I think that the idea if, so maybe segueing into what I'm doing now, but the reality is, is that if we want to do anything, we want to do it for all people, not just for a group or whatever. What makes polarity even more is creating teams on either side of the aisle. And I don't think that's what we do." Simply put, she believes celebrities and politics don't mesh. For Goldie, she sees entertaining as a public service of sorts. "I think we entertain. I think we bring awareness to people, just of their ability to laugh, to have joy, to experience it, to cry," she said. "We are emotional beings and create emotion in others. And it's in this case, I think we're in service."
