Jennifer Lopez talks new beginnings and learning to accept her flaws
"For the first time in my life, I'm in a really good place." So says Jennifer Lopez in the new issue of Hola magazine. In the feature, Jennifer explains how her new album, "Por Primera Vez" ("For the First Time") deals with new beginnings. "It's about how we are always kind of reinventing ourselves, experiencing things for the first time, no matter how old you are. There's always a new beginning," she says (via E! News). The past year has brought plenty of new beginnings for Jennifer, who's now happily dating Alex Rodriguez while appearing in two successful TV shows as well as her residency in Las Vegas. "Whether I'm singing or acting or whatever, it's like 'Did I do that better than I did before? Is there some growth here? Am I moving forward right now?' Nobody wants to do the same thing over and over, and stay stuck," she says. Jen's new music is "happy," she adds, though it includes a few ballads, unlike previous releases. As for her own continued personal renewal? "I want to be better, and I'm OK with all of it," she says. "I totally accept myself for all of those things. I'm not here to be perfect, and I'm not here to be anything but my best, whatever that means for me. … What's for you is for you, and everything else you have to kind of let it go. Learn from it and not fight it."

Nicki Minaj reportedly held up her NYFW performance over a Popeye's chicken demand
Hey, a girl wants what a girl wants. And this girl wants Popeye's. As Nicki Minaj has revealed in multiple tweets — and her 2012 Super Bowl tour rider — she's something of a Popeye's fried chicken superfan. In fact, her cravings (she goes for spicy wings, no thighs, according to that rider) are rumored to have held up a show at this year's schedule-cramped party circuit during New York Fashion Week. According to Page Six, Nicki was an hour late to get onstage at the afterparty for Philipp Plein's show at the Hammerstein Ballroom because she was hungry and demanding her go-to fast food treat. "She refused to get onstage until she got her Popeye's," a production source griped. Ultimately someone from the production crew got Nicki her wish and she performed as planned to an over-capacity crowd that was nearly shut down by authorities.

Jon Gosselin's mother opens up about 'horrible' summer custody exchange
The drama between Kate Gosselin, Jon Gosselin and their kids clearly hasn't ended yet. In August, when the former couple's daughter Hannah was slated to leave her father's and go to her mother's and didn't want to. There was a struggle, according to InTouch, police were contacted and the 13-year-old was ultimately taken away in an ambulance. Now, Jon's mother is accusing Kate of dark tactics to turn her children against their father — and in Hannah's case, against their sister who wanted to stay with him in August. "I would never have believed that a scene could be so horrible until I witnessed the custody exchange myself. How can a judge allow physical force to remove a child?" Jon's mother told InTouch. "Kate thinks there is nothing wrong with her, so she would never subject herself to going to therapy. But she needs psychological help." Jon's mother went on to say Hannah told, "Kate made her and her brothers and sisters all chant, 'We will not visit Jon,'" adding that, "when Hannah finally went home after the custody incident and a trip to the hospital … Hannah says Kate told [Hannah's brothers and sisters] not to talk to [Hannah] to teach her a lesson." John no longer shares equal custody of Hannah with Kate, but Jon's mother believes Hannah was "manipulated" into thinking that was OK. "After eight years and hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal bills, there should be a psych evaluation for the whole family," Jon's mom said. "And after everything that has happened, I demand a psych evaluation for Kate."
Behold 'Real Housewives' superfan J.Law's reaction to Luann de Lesseps' divorce news
Last month, we learned OCD reality TV fan Jennifer Lawrence had a Kardashians tent made available to her so she could decompress while filming her intense new film "Mother!" Turns out girlfriend could use a decompression chamber now that she's in promotion mode for the film — but this time it's because of a certain "Real Housewives" development. Jen stopped by "The Tonight Show" this week and promptly told Jimmy Fallon she was "horrified and shocked" to learn Luann de Lesseps and Tom D'Agostino are getting divorced. "My stomach dropped because I realized that I had just seen the reunion, which means they aren't filming," she said (via E! News). Then she did what any sane "Real Housewives" fan would do: she texted Andy Cohen. "I was like, 'Get a camera in Ramona [Singer]'s face right now. And I also told him to show the moment in the Berkshires where Bethenny [Frankel] is crying and goes, 'I just don't think your guy is a good guy,'" Jen recalled. "Anyway, it's hard to explain the ways of producing if you're not a producer," she cracked. "I am, I guess, kind of a producer of all of the 'Real Housewives.' Andy Cohen and I, I would call us colleagues. I get really passionate and I give him a lot of advice." How passionate, you ask? "With Beverly Hills, my friends and I have a drinking game any time Lisa Rinna says her husband's full name, Harry Hamlin," Jen admitted. "Have you guys ever noticed that? She always goes, 'Harry Hamlin's on his way!'"

In a case reminiscent of johnny Depp's ongoing legal battle with his former business managers, 50 Cent is suing GSO Business Management LLC for its handling of his 2015 bankruptcy claim. The New York Post reports Fiddy believes GSO's mismanagement resulted in extra tax fines of $200,000. He also alleges the company "paid itself" about $90,000 without getting a green-light from Fiddy first. The rapper, actor and producer, who filed for bankruptcy after being sued over a sex tape, reportedly wants "full compensation and damages." Joe Giudice claims prison won't allow him to enter alcohol treatment program
In other bankruptcy fraud news (ahem) … Joe Giudice faces a network of red tape road blocks that are currently preventing him from reducing his prison sentence in time to challenge a deportation order that will otherwise force him to return to Italy when he completes his time at Fort Dix. According to the New York Post, Joe was slapped with a detainer by Immigration and Customs Enforcement that prevents him performing the community service required by prisoners enrolled in the prison's alcohol treatment program. Although a judge recommended Joe get help for his alcohol issues — and offered to reduce his time if he completed the program — the prison won't let him enroll because of the detainer's community service stipulation. He's not allowed to challenge the detainer, however, while he's in prison, a catch-22 that seems likely to keep him at Fort Dix for too long to effectively fight the detainer and avoid deportation. Joe and his wife Teresa Giudice were sentenced to separate prison terms for fraud in 2014.
