Lady Gaga's alleged dognappers arrested
Five people have been arrested in connection with the Feb. 24 dognapping of Lady Gaga's French bulldogs. According to the New York Post, the suspects, who range in age from 18 to 50, were charged with attempted murder (for the near-fatal shooting of Gaga's dogwalker, Ryan Fischer) and robbery in Los Angeles on April 28. They had previously been under investigation by local authorities. "Detectives do not believe the suspects were targeting the victim because of the dogs' owner," the Los Angeles Police Department announced after the arrests. "However, evidence suggests the suspects knew the great value of the breed of dogs and was the motivation for the robbery." One of the suspects is the woman who claimed to have stumbled on the missing dogs tied to a pole and turned them in to police after the singer offered a $500,000 reward for their safe return. Police reportedly urged Gaga not to pay the so-called good Samaritan, as they suspected she was involved in the botched robbery and was trying to get the reward. Ryan is expected to make a full recovery from the shooting.
Amy Schumer admits parenthood has put a big dent in her sex life
Welp, nobody ever said child-rearing was sexy. Just ask Amy Schumer, who recently revealed — in great detail — how her sex life with husband Chris Fischer has changed since the couple welcomed their first child, Gene, almost two years ago. "… We probably have sex every seven to 10 days," Amy said on this week's "Comedy Gold Minds with Kevin Hart" podcast (via JustJared). "And we do it and we go, 'God, that's so great. Like we need to do that more.' And then we don't do it again for another seven to 10 days." Kevin, who's a father himself, laughed and said "that's about right." But unfortunately, that's not the extent of the, um, un-sexiness Amy and Chris are currently dealing with. It seems there's some wincing involved, too. "Wait, this happened the other day," Amy recalled. "… I go, 'do you want to have sex?' And he makes this face … he kind of pictured it. And like, winced. He's imagining it and he made a face kind of like he ate something bad," she said. "He's like, 'how about tomorrow?' And I was like, 'Great. Thank you. I feel really good.'" Ouch. The 39-year-old was similarly graphic about what's "changed" since she became a mom. Let's just say she referenced a certain part of a gal's body that's involved with childbirth and dismissed it as "garbage." Amy and Chris welcomed baby Gene in May 2019.

Kanye West spotted wearing his wedding ring amid Kim Kardashian divorce proceedings
As a new crop of dating rumors swirl around Kim Kardashian West and her longtime friend, CNN's Van Jones, Kim's estranged husband, Kanye West, still appears to be wearing his wedding band. Fans noticed the ring on Kanye's left hand in a photo and a video posted on Instagram by DJ Khaled earlier this week, when 'Ye apparently stopped by to check out tracks from Khaled's new album. "TRUE STORY: KANYE STOPPED BY MY HOUSE AT 8 AM THE OTHER DAY! I DIDNT KNOW HE WAS COMING!" the DJ and producer captioned a clip from their impromptu listening session. The photo he shared showed Kanye dressed in all black, lifting his hands in the air with his eyes closed. "You know when you get this expression that it's sounding AMAZING!" Khaled boasted. "… this album GODS HANDS IS ALL OVER IT." Page Six notes Kanye also stepped out in Los Angeles wearing the ring in February, the same month news broke about Kim's divorce filing. The former couple said "I do" in May 2014. They share four children.

Angelina Jolie's latest role helped her heal during a difficult time in her life. Her new film, "Those Who Wish Me Dead" sees the actress, director and refugee advocate playing Hannah Faber, a traumatized firefighter who's haunted by the death of someone she couldn't rescue on the job. In a new interview with ET, Angelina — who has yet to resolve lingering custody issues with her ex, Brad Pitt — says she drew strength from Hannah's ability to deal with and move past her trauma. "I am drawn to people who have been through something and are broken and then find their way forward and overcome it," Angelina explains. "As an artist, it's very healing to play people like that. She's been very healing for me, because you just get so broken and then you stand back up." The actress describes Hannah as "a very broken person who carries a great deal of guilt," telling ET that beneath the "surface," "thriller" feel of the movie, "Those Who Wish Me Dead" is "a really emotional film … about people who have a great impact on each other and change each other. Emotionally and practically, they go through the fire." Angelina and Brad were declared legally single through a bifurcated divorce in April 2019, nearly three years after Angelina filed to end their marriage. According to Wikipedia, filming on "Those Who Wish Me Dead" began the following month. The movie hits theaters and HBO Max on May 14.

In "Take the Lead," an original essay published on Amazon Original Stories this week, the 40-year-old mother of three opens up about the body image issues she's struggled with through the years, including a moment that came more than eight months into her pregnancy with Birdie (now 2) when she decided it was time to ditch her scale. She was standing on it when she realized she now weighed more than her husband, a former NFL star. She burst into tears — then decided to change her own narrative. "Here I was, creating life, this miracle baby that we didn't expect but welcomed because we knew she was exactly who we needed to complete our family," Jess wrote. "My heart literally beat for hers. I looked down at my belly, which was all I could see back then anyway, then over to the scale. 'This,' I said aloud, 'is not right.'" The designer elaborated on the experience on the April 29 edition of "Today." "I threw it out," she told Hoda Kotb. "You said it was, like, a 'Ouija board in church,'" Hoda recalled. "I have no idea how much I weigh," Jessica said. "Like, I just want to feel good and be able to zip my pants up. If I don't, I have another size. I have every size." Having endured decades of weight criticism and body shaming, Jessica said, "I've really tried my hardest to not let [my weight] define me." John Legend on why he's 'so glad' Chrissy Teigen wanted to go public with their pregnancy loss
In the essay Chrissy Teigen posted on Medium after she and John Legend lost their son, Jack last fall, she admitted John "hated" that she wanted him to take pictures of their grief-filled goodbyes with Jack at the hospital, writing, "It didn't make sense to him at the time." It does now. "What I learned through that process was, first of all, how often this happens to so many other families," the singer-songwriter said on the April 28 edition of "CBS This Morning" (via People). "We felt a real sense of community by sharing it with other people. They felt seen by us, we felt seen by them, and I think it helps everyone deal with their grief when they know that there are other people out there who are feeling it." John added that he later came to see how badly others experiencing pregnancy loss needed to know their feelings were valid, even though society tends not to discuss the topic. "I am so glad Chrissy's instinct was to share this, because it was really the right thing to do. It helped us get through it, and I think it helped other families who are going through the same thing get through it," John explained. "People feel such shame and they feel lonely, and I think we helped people feel less lonely." Chrissy was 20 weeks into her pregnancy when placenta complications made it impossible for Jack to survive. She and John are also parents to Luna, 5, and Miles, who turns 3 next month.
John Mayer is reportedly in talks to host his own late-night show
The world of late-night TV could soon be a little more musical. After years of attempts by CBS to snag John Mayer as a late-night host, Variety reports the singer-songwriter is close to inking a deal with the network's Paramount Plus streaming arm that would see him host a talk show series with a strong performance component, a la "Later with Jools Holland." Insiders tell the outlet John's team is even pitching a similar name — "Later With John Mayer" — for the show, which would feature musical performances in addition to interviews with guest musicians, artists and "cultural figures." The set's vibe would reportedly mimic an after-hours club-slash-musician hangout. In addition touring with Dead & Company, John's hosted an Instagram Live show, "Current Mood," since 2018. He's also guest-hosted "The Late Late Show" in the past. It's unclear when a series might launch, though. Back in February, John told Andy Cohen on his "Radio Andy" show that if Dead & Company can tour safely again in the near future, they "definitely will." At the time, he was eyeing 2022 as a possibility, which could put a dent in any plans for a regular late-night series.
Morgan Wallen banned from Billboard Music Awards
Though he received six Billboard Music Awards nominations this year, country singer Morgan Wallen will not be allowed to participate in the 2021 ceremony after a video surfaced that showed him using a racial slur. Citing its "privilege and responsibility to effect change by creating a more inclusive dialogue in our productions and across the industry," the company's statement acknowledged that Morgan 's Billboard charting should make him a contender for multiple awards, but said that because his "recent conduct does not align with our core values, we will not be including him on the show in any capacity (performing, presenting, accepting)," according to E! News. The production team added, "It is heartening and encouraging to hear that Morgan is taking steps in his anti-racist journey and starting to do some meaningful work," and said it would be monitoring his "progress" ahead of "future shows." Based on his charting, Morgan should have been up for Top Country Artist, Top Country Male Artist, Top Country Album, Top Song Sales Artist and Top Country Song, according to Billboard, which announced the 2021 nominees on April 29. The awards show airs on NBC on May 23.
Lil' Kim looks back on pioneering hip-hop career in new memoir
Rapper Lil' Kim is releasing her first memoir. Due out Nov. 2 on Hachette Books, "Lil Kim: The Queen Bee" will detail the life and career of Kimberly Denise Jones, a Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn native whose career began when she was still a teenager by rapping alongside her future romantic partner, the Notorious B.I.G., People reports. Now 46, Kim reflects on her 30 years in the spotlight in the new book, which delves into her, "complicated high-profile relationships, the misogynistic industry she fought to change through sex positivity, the challenging double standards of self-image and beauty in the spotlight and the momentous act of loyalty that ultimately landed her in prison," according to a press release.
