The people have spoken, and now it's time to judge the fashion from the 2022 People's Choice Awards! Wonderwall.com is rounding up the best and worst looks of the night following the Dec. 6 awards show, starting with this one!
We know Kathy Hilton has more exciting looks in her closet than this boring pick! The Bravo star's purple Valentino minidress included a cape detail. The snoozy ensemble was taken up a notch with those platform heels, but we were otherwise underwhelmed by the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star.

We were pleasantly surprised by this next look! Carrie Underwood arrived in a full pantsuit — a black three-piece look with an all-over gold star pattern. We loved the bellbottom trousers and the way the undershirt flowed with the look — and we're hoping this ushers in a new style era for the country music superstar.
_
What's happening here, Heidi Klum? The model arrived in this bold green-and-white asymmetrical look that was one part minidress, one part floor-length gown and added thigh-high white boots to the mix. Upon first glance we weren't wild about the look, but we wanted to make sure with a peek from a different angle…
_
From behind, Heidi Klum's look was even more confusing. Her frock was nearly backless and appeared to be a minidress from behind… and showed off her thigh-high boots' super-high stiletto heel.
_
A sheer skirt? Revolutionary. Olivia Wilde's Christian Dior gown looked like something we've seen a thousand times before and made her blend in with the cast of "Selling Sunset" (which we'll get to later!). The only redeeming quality? We did like the lacy neckline and the way she cinched it in with a chunky belt.
_
Carmen Electra arrived in this sparkly halter-style bralette that brought some shimmer to the red carpet. It wrapped around to create a shiny belt detail along her silky black high-waisted skirt. When it came time to add more sparkle, she rocked drop earrings and one of the coolest rings we've seen in a while…
_
Carmen Electra sported this dreamy diamond ring set complete with plenty of stars that gave the illusion it was worn around every finger.
_
Sarah Hyland's little black dress was anything but boring! The star's tiny black frock from Vera Wang included a one-shoulder detail and plenty of ruffles for a playful vibe. It paired perfectly with sky-high platform sandals, resulting in one of our favorite looks from the actress.
_
"Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo wowed in this striped jumpsuit. We loved the colors — the unexpected pairing of reds, purples, and blues — and the subtle sparkle that dressed things up just the right amount.
_
The man of the night, host Kenan Thompson, dressed to impress! We loved his teal velvet tuxedo jacket paired with even more pretty blue — trousers and bow tie. A white dress shirt and black dress shoes finished off this polished look.
_
You'll quickly see a theme emerge amongst the "Selling Sunset" ladies. Mary Fitzgerald arrived in a barely-there silver frock with cutouts and a sheer skirt that showed off her legs. Dreamy silver pointy-toe pumps finished off her shimmery look.
_
Emma Hernan was the next "Selling Sunset" star to fall victim to the sheer trend. Her asymmetrical peach frock was a beautiful shade, but the totally sheer skirt paired with a super-high slit felt like a carbon copy of a lot of other looks we saw…
_
While this one didn't have a slit, Chrishell Stause's turtleneck beige number included an entirely sheer overlay that showed off a bralette and briefs underneath.
_
Sutton Stracke kept things classic in this black frock. Though it didn't give us much, we did appreciate the high neck and short sleeve details as well as the thigh-high slit up the side. Her accessories, however, took things up a notch — just look at those crystal-embellished bows on her heels. Next up? A look at her eye-catching earrings…
_
Sutton Stracke rocked these stunning massive diamond drop earrings with her black frock while her red lip added a pop of color.
_
We adored this Oscar de la Renta design on Sarah Michelle Gellar. The star arrived in the midi-length pick that included puffy long sleeves and exquisite pearl embellishments. We're going to need to take a closer look at this beautiful detailing…
_
Sarah Michelle Gellar's Oscar de la Renta design included sweet pearl embellishments. She added another layer of sparkle with some diamond drop earrings.
_
Gloves have been everywhere lately, and though we appreciated Da'Vine Joy Randolph's commitment to hot pink, those sheer gloves aren't it. Despite not loving that accessory, we liked the dreamy strapless ballgown — and the way she added a diamond necklace and matching clutch to the mix.
_
Niecy Nash wowed in a beautiful shade of mint green on the red carpet. We loved everything about this knee-length pick — from the sashes that draped down her arms to the hourglass silhouette. Silver accessories complemented the unique shade perfectly.
_
Obsessed! We adored Camilla Luddington's jazzy Saint Laurent number — a blazer-style minidress complete with chunky black buttons and a dash of red with black pockets. Tights and platform heels cemented this look as a hit.
_
We liked the silhouette of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Crystal Kung Minkoff's minidress — those bell sleeves! — but we wish it was in a bolder color. That tan shade blended in with her skin tone. But that feathered bag can stay!
_
Dorit Kemsley often brings high-fashion drama on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," so this black silk gown felt like a massive disappointment — even with that ridiculous floral detail at the shoulder. Unnecessary gloves and boring black heels rounded out this forgettable outfit.
_
Gabby Windey was a vision in green on the People's Choice Awards red carpet. The "The Bachelorette" darling sported a dreamy velvet gown with a fitted silhouette and sheer keyhole cutout at the neckline. But when she turned to the side, the gown held a little surprise…
_
Gabby Windey's green dress was totally sheer down the sides. The reality star added some glam waves and a rosy lip to finish off her pretty look.
_
We loved Ana Gasteyer's sparkly pink moment! The star arrived in a midi-length short-sleeved and shimmery dark pink dress that she paired with even more pink — platform sandals.
_
Oh, no! Not more gloves! The next attendee to rock the questionable addition was "The Bachelorette" star Rachel Recchia, who sported them with her otherwise simple and straightforward black-and-white strapless frock. Super-thin-strapped sandals, a half-up, half-down hairdo and a dark lip completed her look on the red carpet.
_
Laverne Cox made a statement in greens and golds in this unique Collina Strada design. We liked the thin straps and corset-style bodice that flowed into a full skirt in complementary shades of gold, green and peach.
_
Snore! We know the ladies of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" have incredible closets, so there's no excuse for this dull black minidress with a feathered top on Kyle Richards.
_
Zanna Roberts Rassi is a fashion expert on E!, and this look clearly explains why! The host arrived in a killer spaghetti-strap Valentino look plucked right from the runway that she paired with tights, elbow-length gloves and platform pointy-toe pumps… all in chic black.
_
Yikes! We weren't wild about Erika Jayne's Balmain gown. The black-and-white dress, which featured the illusion of a silhouette, felt more costume-like than award-show couture. And since we're used to seeing her elaborate looks on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," we were underwhelmed by that simple updo and the black sandals she paired with the frock.
