One of the more perplexing looks of the night comes courtesy of Sarah Hyland, who served up marshmallow couture! The star arrived at the show at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, on Dec. 7 in this puffy white confection by Vera Wang that featured one off-the-shoulder sleeve and a super-short skirt. At first we were on the fence about this over-the-top pick, which she did pair perfectly with white platform Christian Louboutins, but seeing it from another angle made us pick a side…

Kim Kardashian West, who was the recipient of the Fashion Icon of 2021 Award, lived up to the hype in this futuristic pick. The reality star's black Balenciaga outfit — which seemed to be comprised of a jumpsuit with a skirt and bra over top — was certainly fashion-forward, as were the Batman-like sunglasses she added.
"Selling Sunset" star Chrishell Stause was a vision in cheery red, arriving in this stunning dress by Genny. The frock featured an interesting neckline, cut-outs at the waist and a thigh-high slit that showed off her matching strappy red sandals perfectly. But the most shocking element of her look was actually her hair color…
She's a brunette! Chrishell Stause debuted a much darker 'do at the award show after changing up her usually blonde tresses.
Christina Aguilera, who performed a medley of her greatest hits during the show, was awarded the music icon of 2021 prize. She also wins for her more mature — but just as bold — recreation of her infamous "Dirrty"-era chaps look.
JoJo Siwa looked pretty in pink at the PCAs! The social media star — and "Dancing with the Stars" runner-up — sported this dreamy midi-length Jenny Packham design complete with semi-sheer tulle sleeves and a pleated and tiered tulle skirt. When it came time to style the frock, she added sheer and sparkly pointy-toe pumps and a gorgeous hairstyle, which you've got to see from the back!

This is certainly… a look? Halle Berry was feeling bold at the People's Choice Awards, opting for a sequin-covered jumpsuit. The busy one-piece included a half-collar detail, a zipper down the center, a thin, ill-fitting belt and zippers at the ankles. The two positive things we can say about this getup? We loved the way she matched it with those shiny silver shoes, and we loved the Djula diamond drop earrings she sported.
We adored Chelsea Handler's black-and-white sleeveless design — which included one spaghetti strap and one thicker strap. She cemented her stellar red carpet look with a pair of studded Jimmy Choos.

If you think Paris Jackson's dress looks familiar, you're not imagining things! The star arrived in this brown gown by Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood, which looked remarkably similar to a Vivienne Westwood frock worn by Doja Cat at the 2020 American Music Awards. The design featured the same dramatic sweetheart neckline, ruching and ruffling and a seriously high slit. One big difference? Paris added fishnets and some very bold plaid platforms. The TikTok-turned-reality star added wavy hair, a dark lip and Le Vian diamond earrings plus a Kallati diamond necklace to complete this throwback to Old Hollywood.
Though we appreciate her commitment to the color purple — she matched her hair to the shade of her dress — we weren't fans of Laverne Cox's PCAs pick. The star donned this Jean-Louis Sabaji dress that featured some serious fringe embellishment atop an otherwise simple black corset base — a disappointing miss. She added jewels by Candy Ice and Anabela Chan with amethysts to complete the purple theme.
H.E.R. wowed in this bubblegum pink Carolina Herrera suit. We loved the wide-legged pants and the way she accessorized with a black bralette underneath plus her signature small shades.
Donna Farizan's neon green strapless gown was fine enough on its own — it had a simple sweetheart neckline and midi-length silhouette — but the look took a serious turn with those detached black sleeves trimmed in feathers. Next!
A neon green look that fared better? Leslie Jones' cheery knee-length number. The bold color of the halter-style design by Christian Siriano made the selection of white heels a must.
Mindy Kaling added some sparkle to the red carpet in this Pamella Roland gown. The short-sleeved frock included a bedazzled neckline that trailed down the bodice, which subtly complemented the all-over shimmer.
Madelyn Cline opted for edgy at the PCAs, picking this black Versace two-piece look. The crop top with an asymmetrical hemline and neckline paired perfectly with her low-slung skirt, which included some signature Versace safety pin details and paired nicely with those strappy sandals. Finishing this funky look off? A sleek updo.
Lisa Rinna's dramatic YSL look certainly made a statement… we just aren't co-signing it. The reality star's black minidress featured majorly dramatic sleeves and ruching at the waist, which was a bold enough shape on its own, but she opted for even more excess with those oversized drop earrings by the same designer. Rounding out the look? A subtle pick where she actually could have taken a risk — super-simple strappy black YSL sandals. She wasn't the only housewife who rocked black on PCAs night…
Kyle Richards looked lovely in a frilly black minidress at the 2021 PCAs. The OG of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" donned this feminine black frock with plenty of tulle and a sparkly belt detail, completing her look with simple black pumps.
We weren't wild about Garcelle Beauvais' PCAs look. She brought a pop of color, unlike her "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" castmates, but the pink gown lost us with that dramatic collar and super-high slit, which revealed thigh-high silver boots underneath.
Shawn Johnson East's hot pink Alice + Olivia shorts suit scored a hit in our book. Making things even better? The addition of those matching hot pink pumps and a sparkly silver bag by Marina Raphael.
