It's time for the 2021 CMT Music Awards! The big night in Nashville on June 9 meant country music's biggest stars were dressed to the nines, but who scored a fashion hit and who landed themselves on the miss list? Wonderwall.com is rounding up the best and worst style moments of the night, starting with Carrie Underwood. The country diva arrived in style in this bright yellow Nicolas Jebran number with long sleeves and a plunging neckline and accessorized the minidress perfectly with those baby blue pointy-toe pumps.

Kelsea Ballerini was hard to miss in bold hot pink leather on the CMT Music Awards red carpet, rocking this shiny top and high-waisted trouser combination from LaQuan Smith. She also added strappy matching sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti and subtle small braids in her long beachy waves.

A three-piece suit? Kane Brown started out strong, sporting the getup in gray. Unfortunately he added a surprisingly casual unbuttoned dress shirt, making this look a bit of a conundrum.

Our favorite look of the night? That belonged to Carly Pearce, who opted for this sweet Ines Di Santo ensemble. From the crop top to the jacket and the high-waisted shorts, this combination in a delicate pastel floral print scored the singer a serious fashion hit. She finished things off with pointy-toe pumps from Casadei and earrings by Nickho Rey.
Pick a lane, Lauren Alaina! The country singer arrived in this split look — which was part sleek black-and-silver jumpsuit and part elegant tan ballgown — and combined, it scored a serious fashion miss.
Hillary Scott of Lady A brought the rainbow to the red carpet. The singer's sleeveless frock with a plunging neckline included multicolored stripes in different arrangements down the bodice and skirt. Our only complaint? She finished it off with boring black heels instead of embracing the colorful shades.
That's too casual, Thomas Rhett! Though he's one of our very favorite country singers, Thomas missed the mark with this super-dressed-down appearance — an olive button-down, khaki pants and brown boots.
Mermaid couture! Ingrid Andress arrived on the CMT Music Awards red carpet in this gorgeous iridescent sequined Georges Chakra Couture pantsuit. We loved the teal shade and the way the singer opted for a delicate silver chain in lieu of a shirt underneath.
Mickey Guyton was a vision in neon yellow at the CMT Music Awards! The singer arrived in this killer short-sleeved number with a floor-length skirt and asymmetrical hemline with a thigh-high slit that showed off her perfectly matching pointy-toe pumps.
Sorry, Lainey Wilson, but this look was a big miss in our book. The sequined and tied crop top worn with those shiny gold high-waisted bellbottoms was a brave fashion move, but unfortunately, the conflicting bold pieces didn't pair well together.
Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town dressed to impress! The singer rocked a cheery and bold minidress that featured a gorgeous pink and teal floral print atop a hot pink background, then completed her look with killer velvet over-the-knee boots and jewelry by Nicole Rose.
Not to be outdone by her Little Big Town bandmate, Kimberly Schlapman also scored a fashion hit in bold shades. We loved the color combination of lime green, pale pink and lilac on this colorblocked short-sleeved gown.
Pick one! Cassie DiLaura's minidress included feathered fringe at the neckline and hemline and a thick belt detail. Combined, the additions overshadowed the otherwise cute frock, making us wish she would have gone without that belt.
Another LBD we couldn't get behind? H.E.R.'s number — which featured a sheer high-necked long-sleeved top with a simple black bra underneath paired with a pleated skirt — was underwhelming compared to her past red carpet moments this year. Despite not loving the look, we did appreciate those cool embellished pointy-toed boots.
It was celestial vibes for Hailey Whitters, who sported this black blazer dress embellished with gold stars and moon designs. She rocked the frock sans undershirt, opting instead for a black lacy bralette underneath, and added knee-high boots to complete her sleek look.
Alecia Davis kept things super-simple, opting for a classic black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and wide-legged pants. Despite looking comfortable, this getup seemed a little too casual for one of country music's biggest nights.
Blanco Brown flashed a peace sign while rocking our favorite coat of the night — this brown plaid number atop an otherwise all-black ensemble. Our only question about this look: Where was he headed with that big brown tote bag?
Lindsay Ell made the best out of an injured foot by rocking Nikes and a silver-embellished boot on the red carpet! The singer's footwear perfectly complemented her silver minidress, which included one long sleeve and a cut-out at the waist.
Iliza Shlesinger's gown started as a bustier-style black number but gave way to a shiny hot pink skirt, resulting in a puzzling pick. Though we liked the color combination, we couldn't get behind the funky corset-like top.
If you're going to stay casual, at least make it a sleek monochromatic black moment! Chris Young followed this advice, rocking a black suede jacket, T-shirt, jeans and boots on the CMT Music Awards red carpet.
Yet another country crooner scoring a miss? Brett Young, whose boring CMT Music Awards ensemble included a dark green jacket over top an otherwise all-black look finished off with boots.
Tenille Arts understood the assignment! The country singer arrived in this elegant strapless gown that included a pretty purple and black geometric beaded pattern throughout, and added earrings by Nickho Rey to complete the ensemble.
Almost, but not quite! Cody Alan started out strong with a suit jacket, but his graphic tee and black trousers paired with those chunky boots brought down this potentially sharp look. And don't even get us started on that hat!
