Alfie Allen landed his first Emmy nomination — for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series — for his performance as Theon Greyjoy on "Game of Thrones." Like some of his co-stars, the British actor, who previously appeared in "Atonement" and "John Wick" and currently stars on Season 3 of Hulu's "Harlots," submitted his name for consideration via his rep after HBO declined to do so.
Believe it or not, Michelle Williams just earned her first Emmy nomination. The "Venom" star is nominated for outstanding lead actress in a limited series or movie for her performance as actress-dancer Gwen Verdon on FX's "Fosse/Verdon." The four-time Oscar nominee has built her career in film, starring in movies like "Brokeback Mountain," "Blue Valentine," "My Week with Marilyn" and "Manchester by the Sea."
Mandy Moore has finally scored a long overdue Emmy nomination for outstanding lead actress in a drama for her performance as Rebecca Pearson on NBC's "This Is Us." The former pop star previously starred in "The Princess Diaries," "A Walk to Remember" and "Tangled."
Michael Angarano got his first Emmy nom — for outstanding guest actor in a drama series — for his recurring performance as Nick Pearson on "This Is Us." The 31-year-old actor is best known for his work as a child star on "Will & Grace."
Asante Blackk earned his first Emmy nomination — for outstanding supporting actor in a limited series — for his work as Kevin Richardson on Netflix's "When They See Us." The miniseries was Asante's first professional acting project.
Marie Kondo has organized her way into an Emmy nomination! The cleaning guru grabbed her first Emmy nod — for outstanding host for a reality or competition program — for her Netflix show "Tidying Up with Marie Kondo."
Marsha Stephanie Blake is nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a limited series for her work as Linda McCray, the mother of one of the five accused boys, in "When They See Us." The first-time Emmy nominee has previously appeared on "Orange Is the New Black," "Law & Order," "Quantico" and "Crown Heights."
Anthony Carrigan landed his first Emmy nom — for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series — for his performance as NoHo Hank on HBO's "Barry." Prior to scoring his role on the HBO series, Anthony starred on "Parenthood," "The Flash" and "Gotham."
Gwendoline Christie grabbed her first Emmy nomination — for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series — for her work as Brienne of Tarth on HBO's "Game of Thrones." Like co-star Alfie Allen, Gwendoline submitted herself for consideration (via her rep) after HBO declined to do so.
Sian Clifford is nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series — her first Emmy nod — for her work as Claire, the lead character's sister, on "Fleabag." The 34-year-old actress previously starred in Amazon's "Vanity Fair" and "A Serial Killer's Guide to Life."
Jodie Comer scored her first Emmy nom — for outstanding lead actress in a drama series –for her performance as ruthless Russian assassin Villanelle on BBC America's "Killing Eve." The 26-year-old Brit previously starred on BBC One's "Justice" and Starz's "The White Princess."
Nick Offerman scored his first Emmy nomination — for outstanding host for a reality or competition program — for hosting NBC's "Making It." He's best known for his role as Ron Swanson on NBC's "Parks and Recreation."
Kristin Scott Thomas is nominated for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series for her performance as Belinda on "Fleabag." She's built her career in film with celebrated roles in "Four Weddings and a Funeral," "The English Patient" and "Darkest Hour."
Benicio del Toro also grabbed an Emmy nomination — his first — for his role in Showtime's "Escape at Dannemora." He's nominated for outstanding lead actor for his performance as convicted murderer Richard Matt. Benicio is best known for his film work in projects such as "Traffic" (for which he won an Oscar), "The Usual Suspects," "Sin City" and "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
Stellan Skarsgard added Emmy nominee to his resume with his nomination for outstanding supporting actor in a limited series or movie for his performance as Boris Shcherbina on HBO's "Chernobyl." The Swedish actor has made a name for himself in films like "Good Will Hunting," "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," "Mamma Mia!," "Angels and Demons," "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," "Cinderella" and "Thor."
A wedding and an Emmy nomination in the same year? Winning! Sophie Turner is nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for her performance as Sansa Stark on HBO's "Game of Thrones." She's branched out since her early days on "GoT," appearing in "X-Men: Apocalypse," "Josie," "Time Freak" and "Dark Phoenix."
Aunjanue Ellis landed her first Emmy nomination — for outstanding lead actress in a limited series — for her performance as Sharonne Salaam, the mother of Yusef Salaam, on Netflix's "When They See Us." She previously starred in "Undercover Brother," "Quantico," "Ray," "The Taking of Pelham 123" and "The Help."
Julia Garner scored her first Emmy nom — for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series — for her breakout role as Ruth Langmore on "Ozark." Prior to her work on the Netflix series, Julia had recurring roles on "The Americans" and the miniseries "Maniac."
Shockingly, Hugh Grant just earned his first Emmy nomination! The British star is nominated for outstanding lead actor in a limited series for his performance as liberal Parliament member Jeremy Thorpe on Amazon's "A Very English Scandal." Hugh is best known for his work in beloved movies like "Four Weddings and a Funeral," "Sense and Sensibility," "Notting Hill," "Bridget Jones's Diary," "About a Boy," "Love Actually" and "Florence Foster Jenkins."

Sarah Goldberg earned her first Emmy nomination — for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series — for her performance as Sally Reed on HBO's "Barry." She previously appeared in "Hindsight," "Crown Heights," "Izzy Gets the F— Across Town" and "Bikini Moon."
Chris O'Dowd landed his first Emmy nom — for outstanding actor in a short form comedy or drama series — for his performance as Tom on SundanceTV's "State of the Union." The 39-year-old star previously appeared in "Bridesmaids," "Friends with Kids," "This Is 40," "Thor: The Dark World" and "The Cloverfield Paradox" as well as beloved British sitcom "The IT Crowd."

The Emmy love for "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" continues! Marin Hinkle scored her first Emmy nom — for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series — for her work as Rose Weissman on the hit Amazon Prime series. She previously appeared on "Two and a Half Men," "Deception" and "Once and Again."
Emily Watson earned her first-ever Emmy nomination for outstanding supporting actress in a limited series or movie category for her performance as nuclear physicist Ulana Khomyuk on HBO's "Chernobyl."
