When mom speaks, you listen. Once the Kansas City Chiefs punched their ticket to the Super Bowl after again clinching the AFC, Travis Kelce heard from everyone within earshot. However, his mom's words were among the most important as he met her on the field.

Donna Kelce met her son on the field after his Kansas City Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens. In that game, Travis Kelce had 11 receptions for 116 yards and he scored a touchdown.
"I just looked at him and I said, 'You were possessed,'" Donna recalls telling Travis, according to People magazine.
She added, "It was just the most amazing feats I've ever seen him accomplish. He was on a mission… a mission to make sure that they won this game."

Donna Kelce was quick to note that Travis hadn't done everything alone, and she credited him teammates.
"Everything just fit into place. It all worked well and I was amazed at how they could all come together like that," she said, adding, "It's so difficult to get there and to be able to get there two times in a row, this was very special."
The Chiefs have represented the AFC in the Super Bowl four of the past five years.

Since Donna Kelce's other son, Jason Kelce, also plays in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles, her schedule is quite full, as she tries to support her sons in person at as many games as possible. Jason, though, was by her side at the AFC Championship game.
"So for me to be able to watch with him while we're watching with his brother was a once in a lifetime occurrence… This was amazing," Donna told People magazine. Jason and Travis, she said, "have accomplished much more than [she] could have ever dreamed."

Of course, Donna Kelce wasn't the only one to praise Travis Kelce on the field after the big win last week. Cameras caught him and girlfriend Taylor Swift embracing.
"It's another memory in the journey that we get to cherish," Travis said of the on-field moment with his lady. "I'm fortunate that I got all the support I need off the field."
