What a game!
On New Year's Eve 2023, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 25-17 in their week 17 NFL game. The victory allowed the Chiefs to clinch their eighth consecutive AFC West title.
The game also saw Chiefs star Travis Kelce inch closer to another milestone: Going into week 18 — the final week in the regular season — the tight end needed just 16 more yards to hit the 1,000-yard receiver mark for the season. Crossing that line would make Travis just the seventh NFL player overall and the first ever right end in NFL history to claim eight consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.
