Donald Trump is returning to "The Apprentice." Well, sort of.
Actor Sebastian Stan — the Marvel star who earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his portrayal of rock star Tommy Lee in the lauded Hulu miniseries "Pam & Tommy" in 2022 — is playing the businessman and future president as a young man in the '70s and '80s in an upcoming movie titled "The Apprentice."
According to Deadline, the film is being billed as "an exploration of power and ambition, set in a world of corruption and deceit." The industry news outlet furthers reported that the project "will examine Trump's efforts to build his real estate business in New York in the '70s and '80s" and dig into "his relationship with infamous attorney Roy Cohn. It's a mentor-protege story that charts the origins of a major American dynasty. Filled with larger than life characters, it reveals the moral and human cost of a culture defined by winners and losers."
