On 'The Crown's' most 'harrowing' task
"An immense, immense responsibility." That's how "The Crown" star Elizabeth Debicki described the weight of playing Princess Diana in the hit show's sixth and final season, which includes the late royal's fatal car crash in Paris in August 1997.
"It's difficult to describe," Elizabeth told "Entertainment Tonight" ahead of the Season 6 premiere on Nov. 16. "It was something that we thought about, that we carried with us, that woke us up in the night."
The season covers the British royal family from the 1990s through the early 2000s and despite critical acclaim for Elizabeth's performance, some critics and fans have expressed concern about how Netflix would handle the tragic incident, in which Diana and Dodi Fayed were trying to get away from encroaching paparazzi in a car when the vehicle crashed in a tunnel.
"We tried our very best to do [the story] properly," the Australian actress told "ET." "It was a very difficult and also very beautiful thing to be asked to do as an actor. So as much as it was very harrowing, it was also — there was a sort of grace to it at the same time."
Part 1 of the final season of "The Crown" is streaming on Netflix now. Part 2 premieres Dec. 14.

Post-split tattoos
Following his split from Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas debuted some new ink honoring the former couple's young daughters onstage in Canada on Nov. 14. While performing in Edmonton, Alberta, with the Jonas Brothers, the singer revealed a black tattoo on his chest, not far from his heart. First spotted by a fan on TikTok and the Joe Jonas Daily X account, the tat reads "07.05.22 x 07.22.20," presumably in honor of the 1-year-old daughter, Delphine, and 3-year-old daughter, Willa, Joe shares with his famous ex.
As video from Joe's performance popped up across social media, fans also noticed a new stick figure drawing on his arm, possibly a work of art by Willa. Page Six, meanwhile, reported that the lines of writing alongside a bird image on his wrist appear to be new additions to his collection. The words-meet-bird tat probably references Joe's girls, as well, via a nod to the Jonas Brothers song "Little Bird," which the siblings wrote about their daughters.
"The tattoos… Joe Jonas loves his daughters so much," one fan gushed on X, "… now lemme cry this is so pure."

At least one of Joe Jonas's daughter-inspired tattoos seems to have been added recently — pics from a Nov. 11 Jonas Brothers performance show his bare chest is free of inked-on birthday dates.
The new artwork comes as Joe and Sophie Turner settle into a new temporary custody arrangement. As reported by TMZ, the stars agreed in October to share custody of Willa and Delphine. From Oct. 9 to Oct. 21, they were slated to stay with their mom, who is allowed to travel with them to her primary residence in the U.K., provided she return them to Joe in the United States. They were then to stay with their dad until Nov. 2 before heading back to see their mom for a few more weeks. Joe was scheduled to be on daddy duty over Thanksgiving, while Sophie was to take the girls over the Christmas and New Year's holidays, according to the webloid.
The former couple, who announced their split on Sept. 6, initially struggled to come to an agreement about Willa and Delphine. On Oct. 10, they released a joint statement announcing that they'd had a "a productive and successful mediation," and "agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the U.K." The pair added, "We look forward to being great co-parents."

Prop gun videos surfaces from 'Rust' set
Footage from five previously unseen videos shows Alec Baldwin firing prop guns and discussing crew members' safety on the set of "Rust" while setting up scenes for the Western. On Nov. 15, NBC News, which obtained the videos, reported the footage was shot a few days before a prop gun Alec was holding on set on Oct. 21, 2021, fired, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. "Rust" director Joel Souza was also injured.
In one video, Alec can be seen in character, lying on the ground, as he talks to someone off-camera. "Now wait a second, I'm gonna shoot right — do you wanna go on the other side of the camera? I don't wanna shoot toward you," he says.
A second video features the actor firing multiple rounds of blanks with a prop gun while telling someone, "right away, let's reload," followed by, "we should have had two guns and both of them reloading." In a third, Alec warns someone we can't see, "I don't know why you're going up hills and all this other … you're gonna break your f***** neck."
The video series surfaced one day before a grand jury was slated to consider recharging Alec with involuntary manslaughter in New Mexico, where the incident took place. On Nov. 15, however, a judge rescheduled the grand jury, according to an NBC source.

The five videos NBC News obtained were part of a larger mass of footage special prosecutors received from Rust Movie Productions LLC in October, a "source familiar with the matter" told the outlet.
Although the involuntary manslaughter charges filed against Alec Baldwin in January were dropped in April, special prosecutors announced on Oct. 17 that they intended to convene a grand jury to consider recharging the Emmy winner with involuntary manslaughter.
Responding to the announcement, Alec's attorneys, Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro said at the time, "It is unfortunate that a terrible tragedy has been turned into this misguided prosecution. We will answer any charges in court."

As of Nov. 16, lawyers for Alec Baldwin had not responded to NBC's request for comment on the videos.
Alec, who pleaded not guilty to the initial charges, has said in multiple interviews that he never pulled the trigger of the gun that killed Halyna Hutchins. He and others have also maintained assistant director Dave Halls declared the gun was "cold," or contained no live ammunition, before handing it to Alec.
The assistant director pleaded no contest to negligent use of a deadly weapon in March.
"Rust" armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, meanwhile, was charged with involuntary manslaughter in January, along with Alec. She pleaded not guilty. Her trial is scheduled to begin in February 2024, per NBC News.

Double family reunion
The Venn diagram of Swiftie Nation, NFL fandom and romance is set to intersect on Nov. 20 when Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — aka Taylor Swift's new boyfriend — faces off against his brother, Jason Kelce, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles — aka, the team Taylor and her family have cheered on for years.
According to "Entertainment Tonight," Taylor's parents are expected to meet Travis's mom and dad for the first time at the Monday Night Football game.
News of the planned get-together comes on the heels of Travis's recent trip to see Taylor in Argentina, where he met Taylor's dad, Scott Swift, for the first time, over dinner. According to "ET," Scott's a devout Birds fan, but he was spotted wearing a Chiefs lanyard as he and Travis watched Taylor perform together on Nov. 11.
On the Nov. 15 edition of the "New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce" podcast Travis hosts with his brother, Travis dished on visiting Taylor in Argentina, confirmed that's where he met her dad, and teased Jason that he transformed Scott into a Chiefs fan.
"Got him over to the good side, baby," Travis taunted his Eagles-star brother on their "New Heights" podcast this week. "Just one by one, getting all the good ones to come on over."
Jason, for his part, jokingly addressed Taylor's dad directly. "What are we doing, Scott?" he demanded. "You're gonna let this man's devilish good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott? Ridiculous!"
Chimed in Travis, "I might have persuaded him at dinner the night before. When I met him."
