Paris Hilton is lashing out at online trolls who've posted needlessly "cruel" comments about her infant son's appearance. Last week, the reality TV star took to Instagram to share several adorable mother-son snaps from a family trip to New York City. Some people, though, felt compelled to comment on the size and shape of 9-month-old Phoenix's head.
"There are some sick people in this world. My angel is perfectly healthy," Paris initially responded. "And yes, of course he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain," she added.
Sadly, the criticism didn't stop there, prompting Paris to slam haters in a lengthier takedown on Oct. 24.

"Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else's for that matter, is unacceptable," Paris Hilton wrote on X on Oct. 24 in response to haters trolling her son over his appearance. "This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. I've worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return."
"If I don't post my baby, people assume I'm not a great mother and if I do post him, there are some people who are cruel and hateful. I'm a proud working mom and my baby is perfectly healthy, adorable and angelic."

Little Phoenix is a dream come true for Paris Hilton, and she's not letting anyone take that away from her.
"I've dreamt of being a mom for as long as I can remember," she wrote. "Phoenix is my world and has been the biggest blessing of my life. Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters. It's hard to fathom that there are people in the world who would target such innocence. I hope that people can treat one another with more kindness and empathy."

Many of Paris Hilton's 16.6 million X followers shared supportive messages for her and her son amid the drama.
"It's damned if you do and damned if you don't. I don't think people realize you can work and have a life and still be a mom. People are just hateful because they don't like themselves. To target a child is unimaginable and wrong. I think he is the cutest little boy," one fan wrote.
"I can't believe people can be so mean. what an ugly world we live in. bullying an innocent child is absolutely disgusting. Phoenix is the most adorable little angel and you're the best mom! sending you so much love and light. you deserve all the love and happiness in the world," a second fan wrote.

The drama comes as Paris Hilton promotes the second season of her "Paris In Love" series on Peacock.
"I've given my whole life to everyone for so long, it's just been really important to me to keep this a secret," she said of expanding her family in a trailer for season 2. "This is the first time that something is just mine. I'm going to be a mom."
"He is so beautiful, so perfect — my life is finally complete," she later said of her son, Phoenix. "I'm so obsessed."
