In an attempt to salvage her marriage, Ellie Goulding has reportedly ended her "secret romance" with beau Zac Goldsmith.
The Grammy nominee had reportedly been secretly dating Zac for several months after she and husband Caspar Jopling, an art dealer, stopped seeing eye to eye.
DailyMail.com reported that Ellie's under-the-radar romance with Zac was made easier thanks to the 5 Hertford Street private members' club, which is owned by Zac's half-brother, Robin Birley. They were allegedly able to spend time together behind closed doors there.
However, the relationship is now over as the "Love Me Like You Do" singer is trying to save her four-year marriage to Caspar, with whom she has a son, DailyMail.com reported…

Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling (pictured) married in August 2019 and welcomed a child, son Arthur, in 2021. However, their marriage hit the rocks recently and the two have been living "separate lives," according to DailyMail.com.
The pop star's team has repeatedly denied that she's stepped out on her seemingly-failing marriage, but she and Zac Goldsmith have been pictured together several times recently.
In early September, a source close to Ellie insisted that she and Zac were indeed an item but claimed that their romantic relationship "ended recently."
Zac split from his wife of 10 years, banking heiress Alice Goldsmith, in March 2023.

"They were categorically an item, it happened independently of matrimonial issues on both sides, and the romance is now categorically over. Ellie and Zac have ended their relationship and have not maintained contact," a source told DailyMail.com of Ellie Goulding and Zac Goldsmith — seen here heading to his London home in August 2023.
"The relationship had nothing to do with the breakdown of either marriage, but Ellie wants to fix her marriage for the sake of their son and Zac is fully concentrating on his environmental work. They were an item, but it had been stalling. Caspar [Jopling] made an ultimatum [to Ellie] after they were pictured together so they agreed to end all communications."

Despite the split between Ellie Goulding and Zac Goldsmith, he recently hinted that he still loves her, DailyMail.com reported. On Sept. 2, he took to Instagram to share a since-deleted photo of a bronze sculpture of a woman that many believe is the pop star.
"What will eventually be a tree of life in bronze… but more work to do!" he captioned the post. A source told DailyMail.com that Zac intends to give the sculpture to Ellie upon its completion.

Zac Goldsmith previously served as the Minister of State for Overseas Territories, Commonwealth, Energy, Climate and Environment. He was also a Member of Parliament from 2010 to 2016 and from 2017 to 2019.
Ellie Goulding has many friends in high society, including Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry.
