Relationship accusations
Model Jessica White dated Nick Cannon for eight years, but she says it was an "emotionally abusive" relationship. "I went through an emotionally abusive relationship, and everybody goes through it," she told Page Six. "I am just the first person in Hollywood to talk about it, and not try to make a pretty picture of it. I don't want to be perfect." Jessica recently slammed "The Masked Singer" host on Instagram without naming him, but it was clear who she was referring to. "Definitely wasted 8 years on trash and was insanely loyal to a human who would never in life be the same," she wrote on June 16. Jessica now says she regrets the post, but only because she should have "saved it for the book." During their long relationship, Jessica suffered a miscarriage. She also found out via Instagram that Nick got another woman pregnant while were still together. "I am not ever going back and that's the facts," she said of her past romance with the father of 12. "I am having so much fun without him, and I am better without him, and I don't need all that energy and all that s***. I am done." She added, "I am so tired of talking about Nick — I am done. Please post that… I am so tired of talking about Nick Cannon. I really want to move past this because I don't want the next guy to come in and think that he is competing with that energy, because he isn't. I am over it. I just want to go into the world and have people see me and ask me questions outside of him at this point."

Chloe Lattanzi says her mother, the late Olivia Newton-John, returned from the dead as a glowing aqua blue orb, which has appeared in several of Chloe's photos. The "Grease" actress passed in August 2022 at the age of 73 after a cancer battle. "Before my mom crossed, she said, 'I promise you if I can, I will show up as an orb.' And her favorite color was aqua,'" Chloe said in an Instagram video. "Now about a week after she passed, I was walking with my phone and my phone took a photo. I didn't take it." The pic was of her dog walking around. In looking closer, though, "I saw this blue thing flying around [my dog's] head," Chloe said. She also saw the same blue orb in a photo of her stepmother Nancy Chuda. "It's breathtaking and amazing. It is my mother in spirit," Chloe said.

Negotiations ongoing
It's already been confirmed that Kevin Costner's days of playing "Yellowstone" ranch owner John Dutton are ending, but there are "ongoing discussions" to try to convince him to film a few scenes to finish out his character, a new report says. "My opinion of Kevin as an actor hasn't altered," show creator Taylor Sheridan told The Hollywood Reporter. "His creation of John Dutton is symbolic and powerful … and I've never had an issue with Kevin that he and I couldn't work out on the phone. But once lawyers get involved, then people don't get to talk to each other and start saying things that aren't true and attempt to shift blame based on how the press or public seem to be reacting. He took a lot of this on the chin and I don't know that anyone deserves it." Kevin, who's in the midst of a nasty divorce, has stated he wants to focus on a four-movie saga he's written and directed called "Horizon." "His movie seems to be a great priority to him and he wants to shift focus," Taylor said. "I sure hope [the movie is] worth it — and that it's a good one." Sources have claimed that the Oscar winner repeatedly blocked out time to film "Yellowstone" but he was frustrated while "waiting on scripts." Recalling the last time he spoke with Kevin, Taylor said things were amicable. "My last conversation with Kevin was that he had this passion project he wanted to direct. He and the network were arguing about when he could be done with 'Yellowstone.' I said, 'We can certainly work a schedule toward [his preferred exit date],' which we did." Although Taylor hints that Kevin's character wasn't going to make it to the end of the series, he's saddened that it's ending this way. "I'm disappointed," Taylor said. "It truncates the closure of his character. It doesn't alter it, but it truncates it."

Burglar incident
A man was arrested for burglarizing Pierce Brosnan's Malibu, Calif., home and using an outdoor shower to clean himself. The story, though, is even more unappetizing than that. TMZ said the crook first urinated and defecated on the lawn of the actor's neighbor on Monday, June 19. He then rummaged around the garbage before heading over to Pierce's estate. As this occurred, police were notified of a strange man in the area. Authorities said the suspect walked around Pierce's backyard before going to the front. He then took it upon himself to wash up in an outdoor shower on the property. The man fled when cops arrived, but they later found him hiding in the rocks along the Malibu coastline. He was booked into jail for burglary.
Stunted
In "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One," Tom Cruise rides a motorcycle off of a cliff before activating a parachute in mid-air. It's the most dangerous stunt in the film, and it was the very first thing filmed, too. Why? Well, budget and mental fitness. "Well we know either we will continue with the film or we're not – let's know day one!" Tom told Entertainment Tonight. "Let's know day one, what is going to happen: Do we all continue or is it a major rewrite?" Tom said he prepared for that stunt for "years," noting it needs exact precision. "I was training and I was ready," he said. "You have to be razor sharp when you're doing something like that. It was very important as we were prepping the film that it was actually the first thing. I don't want to drop that and go shoot other things and have my mind somewhere else." Like Tom, everyone else associated with the franchise wanted to get that stunt done and out of the way early. "Everyone was prepped, let's just get it done" Tom said.
Social media break for the 'soul'
Drew Barrymore is planning to go radio silent on social media to cleanse her "soul." In an Instagram post, the actress thanked followers for making her feed "a loving place" and a "safe space." Drew sees her social media in the same light that she sees her talk show. "It's just very humorous and kind. My two favorite things in this life," she said before adding, "I'm going to take a social media break for the summer. I used to do it all the time. And it's so healthy for the soul." During her hiatus, the "50 First Dates" actress will go on "some adventures." "No matter what I discover and stumble upon in this world … I do love sharing it. And I feel so lucky that we all can all be connected," she wrote. "Thank you to anyone who gives me space in their field. Ok. Now go out and have the summer of your life."
Setting the mood
Romance is a bit of a one-way street in Rod Stewart's 16-year marriage to Penny Lancaster. "I'm definitely more romantic than she is. I dress up every night for a formal dinner together. I absolutely love it. I love lighting all the candles," he told The Mirror. As Rod preps to set out on a world tour, he noted that having "busy, independent schedules" actually helps the marriage. "We often joke about the fact that we can both be in this large house in Essex and not see each other. We stay within the perimeters of the house but we don't see each other until the evening," he laughed. "We wake up, have a cup of tea in bed together, and then she goes her way and I go mine. It's lovely, we are not on top of each other all the time. We're very fortunate in that position."
