Jeff Beck, one of the preeminent guitar players of a generation — who's twice been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame — passed away on Jan. 10. "On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck's passing. After suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away yesterday," they said in a Jan. 11 statement. Jeff was a musician's musician who had the respect of nearly every major rock group in the '60s. More recently, the eight-time Grammy winner toured with Johnny Depp.
Following his passing, many on the Mount Rushmore of rock publicly mourned his passing…
