Ever feel like you just can't relate to celebrities? Well, you're not alone! Join Wonderwall.com as we take a look at the October and November 2022 receipts that prove stars are nothing like us…
Who says you can't get into the holiday spirit behind bars? While chatting with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" on Nov. 17, Martha Stewart revealed that she created a stunning nativity scene while in a "very lovely federal camp down in Alderson, West Virginia." Jimmy told the audience she meant "prison," to which the 81-year-old responded, "You can think of other ways to say it, you know, you don't have to say the 'P' word!" The lifestyle icon went on to share that she took a ceramics class while behind bars and managed to convince the warden to let her create more than the limit of three items. "They had rooms and rooms of beautiful molds, American molds for ceramics… I persuaded the warden that 15 pieces was one thing," she explained. Martha now sells exact replicas of her nativity scene pieces on her website. "If you'd like to give a really beautiful and special gift this Christmas, with a little street cred, they're all inspired by — guess what — a set that I made when I was confined," she said in a TikTok video, adding, "These are exact replicas of a nativity scene I made in my pottery class when I was away at camp." We love the euphemism, Martha!

That's… cute? Author Christopher Andersen's new book, "The King: The Life of Charles III," out Nov. 8, is filled with revelations like this one about Britain's new monarch: Charles has long been attached to his teddy bear. According to Christopher, as reported by Page Six, the king's former trusted valet, Michael Fawcett, had the responsibility of caring for Charles's stuffed animal until Charles was well into his 40s. Sentimental attachments totally makes sense… but it seems as though the king took his love for that stuffed animal to extreme lengths. Apparently, when the teddy needed mending, the royal's former nanny, Mabel Anderson, was brought out of retirement to work her magic. "[Mabel] was the only human being allowed to take needle and thread to Prince Charles's teddy bear," writes Christopher. "He was well into his 40s, and every time that teddy needed to be repaired, you would think it was his own child having major surgery."

On Nov. 10, Page Six reported that Gisele Bundchen secretly purchased a five-bedroom $11.5 million mansion in Surfside, Florida, located directly across the water from ex-husband Tom Brady's under-construction home on Miami's Indian Creek Island. The supermodel and mom-of-two's 6,600-square-foot waterfront pad has a near-direct view of Tom's estate and can be reached via a super-short boat or watercraft ride. "You could literally swim from Gisele's place to Tom's — not that they would — but both homes will include a dock, so it would be very easy for them to co-parent their children while living so close to each other," a source told the New York Post's gossip column. Only these divorced celebrities would have the wealth to not only buy multimillion dollar homes so near one another but potentially do custody exchanges via Jet Ski!

Need another reason to love Keanu Reeves? Let us indulge you. According to a Page Six report from Oct. 19, after realizing he and Jimmy Fallon were dining at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge at the same time the "John Wick" franchise star sent the "Tonight Show" host ice cream for his 48th birthday before singing a Beatles song with the comedian! "Jimmy said 'hi' to [Keanu and his party] and sent them the olives from his table. In response, Keanu sent him ice cream with a candle and had the place sing 'Happy Birthday' to Jimmy," said a source. "Jimmy got up and sang [The Beatles' classic] 'Hey Jude' with the piano singer, Hugo — and Keanu joined at the end for the 'na, na, na' parts!" OMG, we wish we could've been there!

With a voice like hers, it makes sense to protect it at any cost! According to a Nov. 12 DailyMail.com report, The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is spending $473,000 on a system to keep Adele's voice in top shape during her Las Vegas residency, "Weekends With Adele," which finally kicked off on Nov. 18. The venue has reportedly installed a "complex" system that will assure the Grammy winner receives the "best possible air" while she serenades fans, claimed the outlet's source. "The system works by combining dehumidifiers, purification units, water molecule dispersal and cooling fans in the preparation room and then guiding that air around the stage when she performs… Adele is getting the best possible air to protect her voice."

Jana Kramer and Chris Evans? Now that's an unlikely duo. But on the Nov. 14 episode of her "Whine Down with Jana Kramer" podcast, the "One Tree Hill" alum revealed that she and the Marvel Cinematic Universe hunk "went on a few dates" more than a decade ago. "He wasn't Captain America yet, but he was a heartthrob cutie," Jana gushed. "To this day I'm actually sort of mortified," she said of their last interaction. "It was a fun time… but I was getting a little sleepy. And so I was like, 'Hey I'm gonna go to bed' or whatever. And so I had asparagus for dinner that night so I went to the bathroom and he immediately went after me," she continued. "And so that's the last interaction that I remember is him going into the bathroom after I just went to the bathroom with asparagus pee and never hearing from him again." Jana revealed she slid into Chris's DMs "probably like a year ago" but he didn't respond. "[I] never heard back from him again," she said, adding that the asparagus incident has "always been in the back of my mind."

Imagine being so rich and famous that a legend offers to play at your wedding! Such was the reality for New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his new wife, Dr. Dana Blumberg, who surprised guests with a wedding celebration in New York City on Oct. 11 — they'd invited everyone to a "Kickoff and a Touchdown Party" — that was attended by stars including Tom Brady, Ed Sheeran and Sir Elton John. According to Page Six, Robert apparently told the crowd that the couple quickly hatched a plan to wed in a matter of weeks after they went backstage at Elton's "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour stop in Foxborough, Massachusetts, during which the "Your Song" crooner asked when they were tying the knot. When the couple muttered plans about quietly eloping, Elton apparently said to them, "Well, when you get married, I want to play as a gift!" Robert and his love took the "Rocketman" icon up on his offer and had their celebration on the one day he had available. How lucky are they?!

Blue Ivy Carter enjoys the finer things in life — just like her parents! At the 2022 Wearable Art Gala on Oct. 22, JAY-Z and Beyonce's 10-year-old daughter bid more than $80,000 for a pair of Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings, which came as a shock to grandma Tina Knowles-Lawson and actress Keke Palmer, who were both on stage when Blue hopped out of her chair and entered the bidding war by waving her paddle, W Magazine reported. Blue, however, ended up losing the auction to Mielle Organics founder Monique Rodriguez, who took home the jewels for $105,000. This isn't the first time Bey's eldest daughter made waves for her big money moves — in 2019 when she was just 6, she bid $19,000 on an acrylic painting of a young Sidney Poitier at the same event.

It ain't cheap being a father of 11 with a 12th on the way! In a Nov. 10 interview with The Sun, a California family law expert estimated that Nick Cannon must spend nearly $3 million annually in child support to care for his many children with multiple women. But the next day, the "Masked Singer" host told entertainment blog The Neighborhood Talk that it's a lot more than that! "I definitely spend a lot more than that on my children annually," he said, implying that he doesn't have formal child support agreements with his kids' moms. "I don't plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system," he added.

A segment from Gayle King's September 2022 conversation with Julia Roberts made headlines as the Oscar-winning actress revealed that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and wife Coretta Scott King footed the hospital bill for her 1967 birth because her parents were unable to afford it at the time. Julia's folks became friends with the Kings while living in Atlanta, where they ran a theater school. "Coretta called my mother and asked if her kids could be part of the school because they were having a hard time finding a place that would accept her kids," Julia explained, referring to segregation in the '60s. "My mom was like, 'Sure, come on over,' and so they all just became friends, and they helped us out of a jam."

We love a man committed to the cause! In November, Rainn Wilson changed his name on Instagram to Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson in hopes of raising awareness about the risks surrounding the melting Arctic as world leaders met at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Egypt. "With the help of my scientist friends at Arctic Basecamp, I've changed my name to Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson," the "The Office" actor explained in an Instagram video. "This is not a joke, I'm as serious as the melting Arctic, which amplifies global risks including extreme weather events around the globe…The Arctic is melting at millions of liters per second, yet this problem can't seem to make a name for itself, so it's up to us to make a name for it."

After his net worth took a major dive when Adidas parted ways with him in October 2022 in the wake of his antisemitic comments, Kanye West fans worked to help the controversial rapper regain his billionaire status. According to AllHipHop, supporters of the Yeezy founder launched a series of GoFundMe campaigns, one of which was titled "Make Kanye West a Billionaire Again," with the goal of raising $1 billion. That fundraiser, however, raised just $5 before being removed from the crowdfunding platform. Adidas, Balenciaga, Gap and Vogue all cut ties with Kim Kardashian's ex after he made then doubled down on antisemitic comments. Yeezy, Kanye's fashion line in partnership with Adidas, made up a reported $1.5 billion of his net worth, which has since plunged to an estimated $400 million.

Who knew there was a market for chewed gum? On Oct. 17, 5 gum — the sugar-free chewing gum brand manufactured by the Wrigley Company — announced a collaboration with Yungblud that will see a set of 15 custom-made necklaces designed by New York City-based luxury artist Greg Yuna using pieces of Cobalt Peppermint gum previously chewed by Yungblud himself. The Gen Z musician apparently chewed the gum as part of his pre-concert ritual during his 5 gum-sponsored tour in September 2022. "I love these jewelry pieces that Greg Yuna created. His work is next level and the fact that some of my fans will have the chance to own a little piece of history is amazing," said the "Tissues" singer.

Sir Rod Stewart is helping out a Ukrainian family that fled their war-torn country — in a big way. He's not only providing the family of seven with a fully furnished home but paying their bills for a whole year. According to The Mirror, the family left Ukraine amid ongoing attacks from Russia and ended up in England's Berkshire region, where they were met with challenges due to their lack of money, shelter and ability to speak English. "I walked through the door and they all came running down the stairs, all beautifully dressed in Ukrainian national costume. It was so lovely that they all made that effort. They made me a cup of tea and we had loads of biscuits and chocolates, although the baby kept nicking all of mine. It really was wonderful," Rod told The Mirror of his first meeting with the family. "They are such a lovely little family and so polite too," he continued. "None of them speak English but they have such wonderful manners, especially the teenagers." Joked Rod, "I don't know what they are like when I'm not here though."

Yikes, Ye. On Oct. 18, TMZ reported that Kanye West was living out of lavish hotels and luxurious rental homes while spending large sums of money on things including allegedly acquiring the conservative social media platform Parler and buying a $50 million penthouse. "He blows through his money like it's water… and there's some serious concern he could fall into financial ruin," a source close to the Yeezy designer and rapper told the webloid.
