Guilty verdict
The Chrisleys are looking at prison time. On June 7, Todd Chrisley and wife Julie Chrisley were found guilty of criminal bank fraud and tax evasion charges in federal court. Prosecutors had claimed the couple took out $30 million in fraudulent bank loans to fund their extravagant lifestyle. They were also accused of hiding their reality TV money so they wouldn't have to pay taxes on it. The couple argued that someone else managed their finances. The "Chrisley Knows Best" stars, who face up to 30 years in prison, will be sentenced at a future date and were not remanded to jail following the verdict, which has left the future of their USA Network reality show in flux.

Married after crasher arrested
Britney Spears is married, y'all. The pop star tied the knot with her love of more than five years, actor and fitness model Sam Asghari, in an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles-area home on June 9. As expected, the bride wore a dress designed by Donatella Versace, who also attended. The tented ceremony was witnessed by 60 guests including Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, Kathy Hilton, Maria Menounos and more, People magazine reported. The pop star walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love." Aerial pictures showed elaborate flowers flanking a staircase that led to the tent. Although Britney's brother, Bryan Spears, was reportedly in attendance, the rest of her immediate family was absent, including her mom, dad, sister and two sons. "It's a huge deal to her that she is finally able to get married," a source told People magazine hours before the nuptials. "She wants it to be perfect. She is so excited that she feels overwhelmed. She is very emotional." Her big day was almost ruined when her first husband, Jason Alexander, showed up at her home — while streaming live on Instagram — and attempted to crash the wedding. He was eventually restrained and arrested by officers from the Ventura Sheriff's Department and booked for trespassing, vandalism and two batteries related to his physical altercations with Britney's security, TMZ reported.
Scary condition
Justin Bieber has revealed the stunning reason behind his recent concert postponements: He's been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which has left half of his face paralyzed. The singer shared the news on June 10 in a lengthy Instagram video in which he's only able to blink with one eye and move one side of his face. While vowing to "get better," Justin was unable to give a timetable for his return to the stage. "It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear, my facial nerves, and has caused my face to have paralysis," he said. "So for those who are frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I'm just physically, obviously not capable of doing them. This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn't the case, but obviously my body's telling me I gotta slow down. I hope you guys understand."
Gun plea
Still emotional from the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24, Matthew McConaughey called for "responsible gun ownership" and firearms reform during a speech at the White House on June 7. The actor, a native of Uvalde and a gun owner, said, "We need background checks. We need to raise the minimum age to purchase an AR-15 rifle to 21. We need a waiting period for those rifles. We need red flag laws and consequences for those who abuse them." During his lengthy speech before the press, Matthew spoke of the young victims of the school shooting and relayed their hopes and dreams. He also brought items that belonged to several victims with him. This is a "window of opportunity" for gun reform, he argued. "Responsible gun owners are fed up with the Second Amendment being abused and hijacked by some deranged individuals," the Oscar winner said. "These regulations are not a step back, they're a step forward for civil society and the Second Amendment."
Sexuality reveal
Rebel Wilson surprised the celebrity world the week when she came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. On June 9, the actress introduced the social media world to her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, a Los Angeles-based clothing and jewelry designer. "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess #loveislove," the funnywoman captioned this loved-up selfie with her girlfriend.
Lady love
Say hello to Ryan Seacrest's newest love. The "American Idol" host and his girlfriend of a year, Aubrey Paige Petcosky, made their red carpet debut at the "Halftime" premiere during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on June 8. Aubrey is a model and Instagram influencer who's 23 years Ryan's junior. Over the past year, Ryan, 47, hasn't hidden the romance, but he hasn't flaunted it either. In fact, his "Live With Kelly and Ryan" co-host, Kelly Ripa, just met Aubrey, 23, three months ago. "We were starting to be like, 'Maybe he doesn't have a special person and maybe we should check in on him more often?'" she quipped. Kelly, meanwhile, said she is "so fond" of Aubrey.
