Share-ah Silverman
Sarah Silverman's been accused of having a dirty mouth in the past, but this is downright disgusting. While on "The View" on May 11, the comedian revealed that she and boyfriend Rory Albanese have been sharing a toothbrush for nearly two years, which is the entire length of their relationship. "I have never shared a toothbrush with another person in my life and for some reason with Rory we've never not shared a toothbrush," she revealed. The women of "The View" were clearly disgusted by the hygiene choice. "Everyone's saying that's so gross. Let me asked you something… Why is that so gross," she wondered before making a somewhat graphic comment that was bleeped out. The conversation quickly went off the rails, prompting Whoopi Goldberg to go to a commercial break.

Devastating news
On May 14, Britney Spears and fiancé Sam Asghari took to Instagram to share some heartbreaking news: They lost the baby they were expecting later this year. "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment," they wrote in a joint post, adding in the caption, "We are grateful for what we have in the process of expanding our beautiful family. Thank you for your support." The retired pop star and her husband-to-be first shared their pregnancy news on Instagram on April 11.
Not asked back
In the sequel "Top Gun: Maverick," which hits theaters on May 27, both Tom Cruise, 59, and Val Kilmer, 62, reprise their roles from the original "Top Gun" movie that came out in 1986. But the main female characters from the blockbuster — Maverick's love interest, flight instructor Charlie (Kelly McGillis, 64), and Goose's wife, Carole (Meg Ryan, 62) — were not asked to return, though the movie sees Maverick training his late friend Goose's son with Carole, Rooster (played by Miles Teller). "Top Gun: Maverick" director Joseph Kosinski told "Insider" in a story published May 10 that filmmakers never considered asking Kelly and Meg back because "those weren't stories that we were throwing around." According to Joseph, "I didn't want every storyline to always be looking backwards. It was important to introduce some new characters." The director's response echoes comments Tom made at the May 6 premiere when he said the two movies had to feel like "chapters" that are connected without making the sequel into "something that is visually and story-wise the same character and same kind of world." But fans suspect there could be more at play. The main "new characters" who show up on the promo posters alongside Tom and Val are primarily pilots-in-training played by actors who are 40 or younger. Speaking to "Entertainment Tonight" in 2019 about not being asked back for the sequel, Kelly McGillis said, among other things, "I'm old, and I'm fat, and I look age-appropriate for what my age is. And that is not what that whole scene is about." Maverick's love interest in the sequel, Penny, is played by Jennifer Connelly. At 51, she's still eight years younger than Tom — but as Express recently reported, she's also Tom's "first romantic co-star over the age of 50."
Reconciliation
Sam Hunt and his pregnant wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, aren't getting divorced after all. Just two months after she filed divorce documents, Hannah asked the court to dismiss the case, as the two have reportedly reconciled. Sam has been wearing his wedding ring of late, recent photos show. "They are doing their best every day," a source told People magazine. "Sam and his wife are continually looking forward to the next chapter. He's just thinking about his family and what's to come." The split was a bit of a saga, as she initially filed for divorce in February only to quickly withdraw the papers and then refile them a few hours later in a different Tennessee county. In the paperwork, Hannah alleged infidelity and revealed she's pregnant. The duo is expecting a girl.
Baby bliss
Michelle Williams is expecting her third child. The "Dawson's Creek" alum announced her pregnancy news in an interview with Variety. "It's totally joyous. As the years go on, you sort of wonder what they might hold for you or not hold for you," she said. "It's exciting to discover that something you want again and again, is available one more time. That good fortune is not lost on me or my family." This will be the second child for the actress and her husband, Tony-winning theater director Thomas Kail. Michelle, who also shares a daughter with the late Heath Ledger, is due in the fall.

Nip and tuck
Teddi Mellencamp doesn't have a problem sticking her neck out. On May 10, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum revealed she'd just undergone a neck lift. "I have always been comfortable with my neck in the front… [it's] the side profile that has always made me feel insecure," Teddi — who shared these before-and-after photos she took herself on her Instagram Story — told her followers. She said she wanted to be "100% transparent" about having work done. "This doesn't mean I don't love the skin I'm in but this is something that has bothered me since I was a young girl, it's a deep dark insecurity that I have and I am just gonna do something about it," she explained.
Arrest
Grammy winner Young Thug (real name: Jeffery Lamar Williams) is in serious trouble. The rapper was arrested at his Atlanta home on May 9 and booked into the Fulton County Jail after being named in a 56-count indictment along with 28 alleged associates of Young Slime Life — a criminal street gang prosecutors say Young Thug co-founded. The music star was charged with conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and participation in criminal street gang activity. Authorities have accused him of renting a car used in a deadly drive-by shooting in 2015, theft by receiving a stolen firearm in 2013, threatening to kill an employee of Perimeter Mall when he was banned from the premises in 2015, and possession of methamphetamine, hydrocodone and marijuana in 2017, as reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The newspaper further reported that prosecutors have accused him of also overseeing a long list of alleged crimes committed by gang members including murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, carjacking, drug possession and more. Rapper Gunna was arrested as part of the same indictment.
Awful news
More heartbreak for Australian music star and actor Nick Cave. On May 9, the Bad Seeds frontman — who's fathered four sons with three partners — announced that he lost another child. "With much sadness, I can confirm that my son, Jethro, has passed away. We would be grateful for family privacy at this time," he said in a statement. The musician previously lost son Arthur at 15 in 2015 when he fell off a cliff near Brighton, England, after taking LSD. The cause of Jethro's death has not been publicly released. Jethro — Nick's child with ex Beau Lazenby — was 30. The model, actor and musician had just been released from jail after being found guilty of unlawful assault after he physically attacked his mother in March, the Guardian reported, noting that Jethro's lawyer told the court his client had been diagnosed with schizophrenia.
Pregnant
Kelly Osbourne made a major personal announcement this week: She and boyfriend Sid Wilson are going to be parents. The reality TV star posted sonogram pictures to Instagram in May 12. "I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why… I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma," she wrote. "To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!" This will be Kelly's first child.
