The 2022 CMT Music Awards kicked off with a little bit of excitement… a massive lightning storm! The red carpet was even evacuated for a spell, but the stars eventually braved the elements for the big night on April 11! Though we want to steal Jimmie Allen's bright purple fringed suede jacket, the rest of his outfit… didn't fare as well. The country cool guy turned up in the wild outerwear paired with a white T-shirt, ripped jeans and boots underneath for an otherwise too casual showing. He topped things off with a cool hat and plenty of jewelry, but it wasn't enough to turn it around.
