"My first date, I went big. I wanted to do something that was not normally done. I wanted to have fun and not be so serious and [have an] enjoyable time, so I took her to the Super Bowl," he revealed, adding that in addition to the cost of the tickets, he also lost $10K that night betting that the Atlanta Falcons would beat the New England Patriots. (They didn't.) It was worth it in the end for the Migos rapper: "You know what I won? My wife," he said with a big smile.

During a joint interview with W magazine that debuted online in February 2019, Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse revealed that they had their first date in China six months after they met at a party in New York. After they followed each other on Instagram, the former child star slid into the Victoria's Secret model's DMs, but he didn't hear back from her until six months later … after he'd traveled to China for a six-month movie shoot. In July 2021, a helicopter journalist spotted Drake enjoying an intimate dinner date with his then-girlfriend, Johanna Leia, at an otherwise empty Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. "@DRAKE ON A DATE? Randomly just flew over this cozy couple enjoying a private dinner along the third base line at an empty Dodger Stadium from #Air7HD," tweeted ABC7 helicopter reporter Chris Christi. Multiple media outlets later reported that the MLB team arranged for the epic dinner after the "God's Plan" rapper made a sizable donation to the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation. Lainey Gossip reported at the time that, according to multiple sources, the duo had the venue to themselves from midnight until "just before dawn."
