Channing Tatum says he's going au naturel for 'Magic Mike 3'
"The times, they are are-changin'" … and that goes for male dancers, too! Channing Tatum stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Feb. 8 to discuss his new movie, "Dog," which he stars in and directed. But when the conversation turned to the shaved head Channing sports in the movie, Jimmy apparently couldn't resist asking the actor and director to share his body hair plans for the upcoming third installment of "Magic Mike." "Speaking of hair removal, what about 'Magic Mike?'" Will you be waxing your body for that soon? Is that starting yet?" Jimmy inquired. Channing smiled. "No," he said. "We are going to change with the times, and I am not gonna do the whole waxing thing. I think I'm just gonna go natural." Jimmy didn't drop it, though. Instead, he asked if waxing is no longer on-trend for male dancers. "I think we're gonna try to change it. I think we're gonna just … it's a new day. It's a new day," Channing replied. Jimmy was on to him. "Is this just because you don't wanna get waxed anymore?" he asked. "Yep, pretty much," Channing said with a chuckle. "A little bit of hair is fine!" Steven Soderbergh has signed on to direct the new film, "Magic Mike's Last Dance," but Channing told "Entertainment Tonight" he's unsure if Matthew McConaughey will return for this installment. He also said he's already started rehearsing, "every day for three hours a day in a garage in the Valley." Filming is slated to start next month in London and Italy, according to ET.
Taylor Swift's boyfriend Joe Alwyn confirms they're monogamous in rare relationship comment
In a rare moment of openness about his relationship with Taylor Swift this week, "Conversations With Friends" star Joe Alwyn confirmed the couple's romance is not an open one, a la that of his character on the upcoming Hulu series. Joe, who's been dating Taylor for about five years, was asked during a Television Critics Association panel on Feb. 8 if he and his partner had talked about the possibility of exploring alternatives to monogamy. "I think people can do what they want and makes them happy. I'm obviously happy in a monogamous relationship," he replied, according to Insider. He also noted an open relationship "seems exhausting." Still, he praised the author who wrote the book the show is based on with tackling "endlessly fascinating" topics about how people relate to one another. "But I think one of the interesting things about Sally [Rooney]'s writings and what she explores," Joe said, "is happiness, love, desire, and intimacy outside of those constructs that we create for ourselves, whether that's friendships or families or relationships." Jemima Kirke, who plays his character's wife on the Hulu show, seemed to agree. "Because of the nature of an open relationship … you have to do so much talking with your spouse or whatever, maybe on a weekly basis about what's OK and what's not OK, then reestablishing grey areas," she chimed in. "It's just exhausting, at least for me it would be."

Kim Kardashian reveals what 'caused' her divorce, Kanye reacts with another public plea
"Team Me." That's how Kim Kardashian describes her planned approach to life in her 40s in the cover story for Vogue's March 2022 issue. It's the same thinking that was behind her decision to file for divorce from Kanye West last year. Asked about her split, Kim replied with candor. "For so long, I did what made other people happy and I think in the last two years I decided, I'm going to make myself happy. And that feels really good," she explained. "And even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it's important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I've chosen myself. I think it's OK to choose you." Kim, who turned 40 last year and shares daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 4, and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 2, with Kanye, went on to share her perspective on co-parenting. "You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be 'Your dad's the best.' Make sure you are your co-parent's biggest cheerleader, no matter what you're personally going through," she said. Kanye has publicly discussed his frustrations with navigating their divorce and post-split parenting — after the Vogue interview was released, he shared photos of Kim and the kids from the magazine on Instagram, captioning the post "GOD PLEASE BRING OUR FAMILY BACK TOGETHER" — while Kim has mostly stayed quiet on those topics. (She did, however, post a response to accusations Kanye made about her on Feb. 5.) As for Kim's new approach to her personal life? "My 40s are about being Team Me," said the SKIMS creator. "I'm going to eat well. I'm going to work out. I'm going to have more fun, spend more time with my kids and the people who make me happy."

Kylie Jenner is 'doing great' after son's birth, says Caitlyn Jenner
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have started introducing their new baby boy to family members. On Feb. 9, Kylie's dad, Caitlyn Jenner, confirmed she's "met" her new grandson — who makes grandchild No. 19 for the former Olympian. "The family is growing! Kylie had her little boy," Caitlyn said on "Good Morning Britain," according to Page Six. Given Caitlyn's leak of the baby news in August, she also said she was trying to "be very sensitive and be very careful when I talk about the family," now, but it's no longer a secret since Kylie announced over the weekend that her second child arrived on Feb. 2. "But they're great," Caitlyn said on the morning show. "Kylie's doing great, everybody's doing good." Kylie and Travis also share 4-year-old daughter Stormi. As of Feb. 9, they had not yet confirmed the name of their son.
Here's why Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom still haven't tied the knot
Despite rumors they secretly tied the knot last year, Katy Perry says she and Orlando Bloom are still engaged three years after Orlando popped the question. She explained why they haven't given the ceremony a green light yet during a chat on Australia's "Kyle and Jackie O Show" this week. "It's a destination location. We're still trying for it to work out," she explained. "Every couple of months it's like, 'New [COVID-19] variant! New variant! New variant!'" The two were rumored to be planning to marry in Japan, but Katy didn't elaborate on the location. Clearly, putting the wedding on hold hasn't made much of a dent in their forward motion as partners, though. Just over a year after their Valentine's Day 2019 engagement, Katy confirmed they were expecting their first child together. Their daughter, Daisy, was born in August 2020. Orlando also shares an 11-year-old son, Flynn, with his ex, Miranda Kerr — who's become super tight with Katy over the years. "We go on holidays together. We celebrate all the important milestones together," Miranda said of Katy on the "Moments With Candace Parker" podcast last year. "I love her. I mean, it'd be safe to say I love her more than Flynn's dad," she joked. "To me right now, he's like a brother. And most of the time, an annoying brother. So she helps me deal with him because she can deal with him, and I'm so grateful that she's there."
Alec Baldwin acknowledges 'horrible' 'Rust' set shooting on first day back to work in months
This week, Alec Baldwin spent time reflecting on what it was like going back to work for the first time since he was involved in a fatal shooting on the set of "Rust" in October. "We had our first day today which is always tricky. I don't work as much as I used to … you go to work and you forget what you're supposed to do," he admitted on Instagram in a video on Feb. 8. He went on to acknowledge he hasn't "worked since October 21 of last year when this horrible thing happened on the set of this film and the accidental death of our cinematographer Halyna Hutchins." As his musings continued, he observed that "movies are nearly always the same … everyone's young compared to me … Especially in independent films where there are good people, there are very good people." He then switched gears and talked about missing the six young children he shares with wife Hilaria Baldwin. "I miss my kids, I miss my Carmen, she's so funny," added Alec, who's also dad to Ireland Baldwin, 26, from his previous relationship with Kim Basinger. "All my kids are so unique. I guess everybody who has a lot of kids feels that way. You can't get over how different they are, so different, my kids are so different," he said. Looking ahead, Alec told followers he'd be on location in England "for a few more days, and then who knows what the future will bring …" Production never resumed on "Rust" after the gun Alec was holding went off, killing Halyna and injuring the film's director.
Jennifer Lopez packs on the PDA with Ben Affleck in couture bridal minidress
Lovebirds Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck couldn't stop snuggling on the red carpet at the premiere of Jen's new film, "Marry Me" in Los Angeles on Feb. 8. Video showed Ben, 49, sweetly wrapping an arm around the singer and actress and pecking her forehead with kisses as she smiled for the cameras in a gorgeous white lace number from Giambattista Valli's new "Love" bridal range. (We did some snooping and it's not the dress she wears to marry Owen Wilson's character in the movie — that one's by Zuhair Murad Couture, according to Page Six.) In a recent interview with People, J.Lo, 52, gushed about finding love again with Ben, her onetime fiance. "I feel so lucky and happy and proud to be with him," she told the outlet. "When you find somebody and you really, really love them and you get a second chance at that?" she said later in the interview. "That is a really rare, precious, beautiful thing and we don't take it for granted." "Marry Me" is in theaters and on Peacock Feb. 11.
Rihanna visits veterans struggling with homelessness one week after pregnancy news
Rihanna's not letting her pregnancy keep her from making time for what matters. Over the weekend, the singer and Fenty designer joined activist Sennett Devermont at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs campus in California, where she met with vets who are struggling with homelessness. "Thank you @badgalriri for pulling up with all the love and support and most importantly your ears to listen to Veterans," Sennett wrote on Instagram after Rihanna's visit. After detailing some of the conditions the veterans there have been dealing with — from a lack of safety to a lack of access to rehabilitation needs — he reminded followers, "These are veterans that signed on the dotted line, risked their life and served our country." He signed off by thanking Rihanna "for your amazing heart, time and energy." According to other posts tagged by the community living center, Rihanna also donated supplies, clothing and food and spent time talking to vets about their life stories. Rihanna, 33, announced last week she's expecting her first child with her boyfriend, rapper ASAP Rocky, also 33. Rih and Rocky have reportedly been together since 2020. "Having a baby is something she was never focused on, but being with Rocky opened her up to the idea," an insider told People after the couple's announcement. "She couldn't be happier and is so excited to be a mom," the source added.
