Monogamy is not a critical component of Kanye West and Julia Fox's relationship.
Page Six reported on Feb. 8 that the two are in an "open relationship," and both Kanye and Julia are casually seeing other people.
"Their bond transcends typical norms because they're evolved beings who just want each other to be happy," a source close to the "Uncut Gems" actress said. "There is no jealousy or bad vibes."
The report comes amid split speculation, some of which was only intensified after the rapper was seen with Instagram model and Kim Kardashian lookalike Chaney Jones in Los Angeles. A second source said Ye is "openly seeing" Chaney, and Julia is "talking to" a mystery man on the East Coast.
Kanye and Julia have been essentially attached at the hip since New Year's Eve when they began dating. Over the weekend, many wondered if the two were on the outs after Julia deleted images with Kanye.
"Guys, relax. I unfollowed the fan accounts because I was tired of seeing myself," she said. "Suddenly Instagram was not a fun place anymore. I took the f—— photos down because I read the comments and everyone was like, 'Oh my God, you clearly only posted photos you looked good in.'"
Of course, hovering over the relationship is Kanye's estranged wife, who recently slammed him for his public "attacks."
The back-and-forth started when Kanye claimed North, his eldest daughter with Kim, was "put on TikTok against [his] will," and asked for advice amid the pair's divorce.
"SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?," he said of his 8-year-old daughter.
Kim hit back at Kanye on her Instagram Story, writing, "Kanye's constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create. As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness."
"Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye's obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all. From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way," she continued. "I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately, and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably."
Kanye, however, argued that Kim tried to "kidnap" their daughter Chicago on her fourth birthday.
