Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in late January 2022, starting with these former couples… On the Jan. 27 episode of "The Drew Barrymore Show," Drew Barrymore and Kate Hudson revealed that they had open relationships with brothers Luke Wilson and Owen Wilson around the same time early in their careers. "When we first met, we were young and wild," said Drew before the two women confirmed they first connected while Kate was shooting the 2003 rom-com "Alex & Emma" with Luke. "I was dating him, I think. But I think he was also dating other people. It was an open relationship — we were young," said Drew. Replied Kate, who dated Owen Wilson after they co-starred in the 2006 comedy "You, Me & Dupree," "I've been there with a Wilson too." Responded Drew, "It's so fun because when you're young, you're like, 'It's low stakes. We're just young, we're having fun, we're all playing, acting, hanging out.' You're not taking it all so seriously, and it was fun and we had the best time."

This again?! On Jan. 26, The U.S. Sun resurfaced a rumor from mid-2021 linking Brad Pitt to Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li. "Brad and Lykke have been able to fly under the radar so easily because they're neighbors. … It's worked out perfectly for Brad, to have someone he likes living so close," said one source, noting that the duo live just minutes away from one another in Los Angeles. In June 2021, Deux Moi reported that, according to an anonymous source, the alleged couple had been secretly dating "for quite some time." A second source, however, insisted that the romance rumor "couldn't be further from truth." On Jan. 27, People magazine echoed the second Deux Moi insider, reporting that the 58-year-old Oscar winner and the 35-year-old model-musician are hanging out platonically. According to one source, they're part of "a large group of artsy friends that he enjoys hanging out with." Insisted the People insider, "He likes having female friends too." The source went on to say that the A-list actor "is dating, but not seriously" and "still keeps in touch" with former paramour Nicole Poturalski.

The Sun reported on Jan. 25 that, according to a source, Kanye West believes Kim Kardashian's relationship with Pete Davidson is "fake." Said the source, "He believes the Kardashians make up storylines for their lives and he's sick of it. He feels she is going for the complete opposite of him to upset him and it p***** him off." The rapper also reportedly feels "suppressed" by his ex-wife because "he feels he has kept a lot of things quiet for her and he likes to speak his mind." He also takes issue with the "Saturday Night Live" star's sense of style. "Clothes and style are very important to Kanye and he has been telling friends he thinks Pete wears the worst clothes ever," said the insider. "He has been dissing Pete for dressing in clothes 'from the mall.' He thinks it is affecting all the work he did with Kim. Kanye felt like he gave her the world when he redid her closet and thought he was helping. He sees fashion as art and wanted to bring her into that world." Additionally, Kanye is said to be concerned that Kim isn't prioritizing religion to his standards and that their four children "are turning out like 'mini Paris Hiltons' with the way she dresses them now." He's also "annoyed" their eldest child, daughter North West, has a TikTok account because "he doesn't want the kids on social media."

Meanwhile, Kanye West and his new girlfriend, Julia Fox, made their official red carpet debut as a couple in coordinating denim-on-denim ensembles at the Kenzo Fall-Winter 2022/2023 Menswear presentation in Paris on Jan. 23. The following day, the "Uncut Gems" actress took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of herself and the rapper to officially sign off on their new couples nickname: Juliye. (It doesn't quite have the same ring to it as "Kimye" does, though, does it?) She also slammed criticism of their relationship on the Jan. 21 episode of her "Forbidden Fruits" podcast, saying, "People are like 'Oh, you're only in it for the fame, you're in it for the clout, you're in it for the money.' On Jan. 21, People magazine confirmed recent suspicions that Kelly Osbourne is dating Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson. They first connected back in 1999 when his band hit the road as part of Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest tour. "They have remained friends since. They are very happy together," said a source. The duo first sparked romance rumors on Jan. 17 when Kelly took to her Instagram Story to share several selfies with Sid.

Page Six reported on Jan. 25 that, according to multiple sources, issues in Adele's relationship with her new boyfriend, Rich Paul, played a role in her decision to postpone her Las Vegas residency. "Adele's been crying and couldn't get through a single full rehearsal for the past month," said one source, adding that the chart-topper was "constantly on the phone with Rich … loudly shouting and sobbing" and "barely rehearsed" because she was "constantly in the middle of an emotional shootout." Said a second source, Las Vegas-based journalist Scott Roeben, "There are rumblings that there are stresses related to Adele's relationship. I'm told that these stresses caused her to be in a place where she was just not confident moving forward. You can't focus if you're not where you need to be in your head." A third source told Page Six of Rich, "He's a good guy, but I honestly don't know if he's the settling-down type."

There's a new woman in Alex Rodriguez's life! The former professional baseball player was seen with 25-year-old amateur bodybuilder Kat Padgett in two different states in as many days over the weekend of Jan. 22. First, they were seen in the stands at Lambeau Field in Wisconsin as the Green Bay Packers took on the San Francisco 49ers. The following day, they watched the Minnesota Timberwolves play the Brooklyn Nets at Minneapolis's Target Center. Things between the pair aren't serious, though: "A-Rod is single and enjoying life. It's not like she's his girlfriend. They went to Green Bay and then to Minnesota. She's not his girlfriend. He is a single dude," a source told Page Six. Echoed an Us Weekly source of Alex, who split from Jennifer Lopez in early 2021, "At the moment he's single and having fun. … He's in the playing field looking for someone he can eventually be in a serious committed relationship with. He'd love to find the next J.Lo — he just hasn't met her yet." The insider added that dating is "not easy" for Alex due to "being in the spotlight." As for Kat, "[They're] keeping it casual. He's not tied down to anyone specific," said a second Us Weekly source, adding that A-Rod "can be quite the charmer."

During an interview with People magazine that debuted online on Jan. 26, Courteney Cox said that she's "definitely not opposed" to the idea of eventually marrying long-term off-and-on love Johnny McDaid. "I just don't think about it," she said of marriage. She then gushed of the Snow Patrol guitarist, "[He's] a great listener. And I've never met someone more patient. He's a great advice-giver. I love his heart, his intentions. His morals. He's extremely talented and obviously musical, but he's a poet and a writer. He's just so smart, and I find that really sexy. And then he is gorgeous." She also dished on what she's learned about love over the years: "I've learned that love is precious. As I've gotten older, I've realized that," she said. "I've learned you can't take a lot personally. I used to think, 'Oh well, if you loved me…' It's not really about you. People do things because of their own history and their own past. I had to learn that lesson for sure." Courteney and Johnny got engaged in June 2014 after only six months of dating. Late last year, there were whispers online that Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund had quietly called it quits. On Jan. 21, People magazine confirmed that the rumors were true: They reportedly split "a few weeks ago, following a rocky few months in their relationship." Said a source, "It's sad, and they are trying their best to co-parent. It's been hard." (The duo welcomed son Rhodes in late 2020.) Echoed an "Entertainment Tonight" source, "Their relationship has been rocky for a long time, and the situation is really sad right now." The insider added that the pair "grew apart when Garrett was away working" but "are still co-parenting, and still doing things as a family" although "they are not living together" and are "not romantically together."

On Jan. 26, People magazine broke the news that Brad Garrett and his girlfriend of 13 years, IsaBeall Quella, secretly tied the knot in Montecito, California, on Nov. 11, 2021 — nearly six years after they got engaged in December 2015. "I married the love of my life," the "Everybody loves Raymond" star said in a statement. The duo were reportedly forced to postpone their wedding plans four times — twice due to the coronavirus pandemic, once due to wildfires and once due to a mudslide.

On Jan. 25, Romee Strijd took to Instagram to announce that she's engaged to her love of more than a decade, Laurens van Leeuwen. "I said YES," the Victoria's Secret Angel captioned a slideshow of photos depicting the proposal, which went down in Switzerland as the duo, who welcomed daughter Mint in late 2020, celebrated their 12th anniversary. Laurens captioned his own slideshow of photos including a selfie showing off the model's new engagement ring, "Let's grow old(er) together @romeestrijd."

The rumors were true! On Jan. 24, People magazine published a joint statement from Bachelor Nation's Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian — who got engaged on season 7 of "Bachelor in Paradise" last year — announcing that they recently called it quits. "We have decided to go our separate ways. Never did we imagine this, but we've come to a point where we both need to work on ourselves," they said. It's unclear when exactly they threw in the towel.

In other Bachelor Nation love news… On Jan. 21 — after Dale Moss was snapped walking arm-in-arm with Argentine model, DJ and professional soccer player Florencia Galarza in New York City (see photos here) — E! News reported that, according to a source, the duo, who are both represented by the same modeling agency, are "hooking up" but "not dating." The insider insisted that things between them are "casual." Echoed an Us Weekly source, "It's very casual. They aren't officially dating." Florencia is the first woman to whom Dale has been linked since he and former "The Bachelorette" lead Clare Crawley called it quits for the second time in September 2021.

That was fast! It appears James Kennedy has already moved on from Raquel Leviss. On Jan. 24 — less than two months after the "Vanderpump Rules" co-stars publicly revealed they'd called it quits — the DJ took to his Instagram Story to share a video of himself holding hands with a pretty brunette while celebrating his 30th birthday in Las Vegas. The mystery woman could also be seen sitting beside James during his birthday dinner. According to an E! News source, "She's someone new he's been casually seeing." An Us Weekly source, however, downplayed the new relationship, saying that James has been "been down about the breakup" with Raquel and "went to Vegas for his birthday with a group of six friends."

On Jan. 21, Page Six noticed that Olivia Rodrigo had unfollowed her boyfriend, Adam Faze, on Instagram. According to the New York Post's gossip column — which speculated that they'd quietly called it quits sometime before the holidays — the singer-actress is no longer following either his personal account or his professional account. She also hasn't been seen in public with the Hollywood producer since November.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's fiancée, Saffire Matos, sparked rumors that they'd quietly called it quits when she took to her Instagram Story earlier this month to share a mirror selfie with her puppy along with the caption, "Me and my one and only love." The Sun reported on Jan. 24 that the eyelash technician — who's been going without her engagement ring in public in recent weeks — hasn't posted about the "Jersey Shore" star on social media in a while now, indicating they may have thrown in the towel.

Despite what the rumor mill would have you believe, former "Summer House" star Hannah Berner and her fiancé, Des Bishop, are still going strong. On Jan. 19, Deux Moi shared a tip from an anonymous source alleging that the two comedians had called it quits. The following day, however, Deux Moi reported that the bride-to-be "personally said" the rumor was "untrue." On the Jan. 24 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Hannah's friend and former co-star Ciara Miller confirmed that Hannah and Des are still together and gearing up to tie the knot: "I just got the wedding invitation," she said. The following day, Des name-dropped Hannah while posting on his Instagram Story from Aruba, saying that she wasn't with him because she was performing in Pittsburgh later that night.

On Jan. 24, E! News reported that, according to a source, American-British Olympic freestyle skier and "American Horror Story" star Gus Kenworthy has "been in a committed relationship for over two years" with CAA exec Adam Umhoefer. "They live together and Adam will be cheering on Gus from home during the Beijing Olympics. They like to keep as much about their relationship as private as they can, but they love and support one another endlessly," said the source.

On Jan. 23, "Floribama Shore" star Gus Smyrnios took to Instagram to announce that he and his girlfriend of a year, Samantha Carucci, are engaged. "When I met you on this beach a year ago today, I knew I wanted nothing less but to spend every day I had left with you. I love you forever Sami. Thank you for showing me what true love is #engaged," he captioned a slideshow of photos showing off Samantha's new engagement ring.

On Jan. 24 — about a week after Infanta Cristina of Spain's husband of 24 years, Inaki Urdangarin, was photographed holding hands with another woman, Ainhoa Armentia, in France — the duo released a joint statement announcing that "by mutual agreement," they'd "decided to break off our marriage." According to England's Express newspaper, Inaki addressed the hand-holding snaps to a group of reporters, saying, "These things happen. It is a difficulty that we will manage with the utmost tranquility and together as we have always done." Hola!, meanwhile, reported that Cristina — who's the younger of King Felipe VI of Spain's two older sisters — "already knew" about her estranged husband's new relationship before the photos (see them here) hit the Internet.
