Beyonce's TikTok debut grabs 355k followers before first post
The Queen moves in mysterious ways. On Dec. 17, Beyonce fans woke up to discover an @beyonce TikTok handle had been created. No bio. No posts. No images. Just @beyonce. Sony Music later confirmed that it was, in fact Bey's account — "New queen of TikTok has arrived 🐝👀," Sony tweeted — leading some fans in the Beyhive to predict new music is on the way. "She's coming and I don't care if I'm being delusional," one fan posted. Others surmised she could just be planning another line launch for her Ivy Park brand, although that doesn't explain Sony Music's interest. She's also recently said she's working on music again, telling Harper's Bazaar in its August issue, "I've been in the studio for a year and a half." Whatever her plans are for TikTok, the singer proved within hours that she doesn't have to post a thing to get her fans in formation — less than 24 hours into her TikTok tenure, Bey had already racked up more than 355,000 followers.

Adele and Rich Paul hold hands at Chargers game with Jay-Z
Adele and her boyfriend, sports agent Rich Paul, snuggled up to one another and held hands as while watching the Los Angeles Chargers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in L.A. on Dec. 18. A photo of the lovebirds posted on ESPN's Twitter caught the couple, mid-PDA moment, as they enjoyed the game with pals Jay-Z and LeBron James' business partner (and childhood friend) Maverick Carter. "Who the heck are Jay-Z and Adele's +1s????" LeBron teased on Twitter after spotting a pic of the group. Adele and Rich made their Instagram debut as a couple in September. In an interview with Rolling Stone last month, the singer described the romance as the "most incredible, openhearted and easiest" relationship she's ever had.

Ben Affleck talks second chances and fatherhood on 'GMA'
For Ben Affleck, nothing in the world matters as much as being a good dad. "The Tender Bar" star, who's sober after a long battle with alcoholism, opened up about fatherhood, his concerns about passing on his "missteps" to the kids he shares with ex, Jennifer Garner, and the importance of second chances on the Dec. 17 edition of "Good Morning America." "I will be long dead and someone will ask my kids what was your dad like and that is when I will know what my life was worth," he said of Violet, 16, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9, according to People. "I feel like at the end of the day everybody needs second chances. I don't know anybody who does everything right. We all fail. That's the truth," Ben explained. "There aren't enough movies, there isn't enough success, not enough likes on Instagram. Those things will never fill you up or make you happy. My life is better and I am happier the more I am around my kids." As for his past mistakes and struggles, Ben added, "We all want to pass on the best of ourselves to our children. I don't care who you are, I'm quite sure you feel at some point in your life you've taken missteps, nobody wants to transfer that to our children and that is a real task that everybody faces, whatever those issues are."

Zoe Lister-Jones claims Chris Noth was 'sexually inappropriate' with colleague
As Chris Noth faces allegations from two women claiming he sexually assaulted them, actress Zoe Lister-Jones accused the "Sex and the City" star of "sexually inappropriate behavior." "Last week my friend asked me how I felt about Mr. Big's death on And Just Like That… and I said, honestly, I felt relieved," Zoe posted on Instagram on Dec. 16 after The Hollywood Reporter published a report detailing the alleged assaults, both of which he has denied. "He asked why and I told him it was because I couldn't separate the actor from the man, and the man is a sexual predator," Zoe continued. "My friend was alarmed at my word choice. And to be honest so was I. I hadn't thought of this man for so many years, and yet there was a virility to my language that came from somewhere deep and buried." She went on to recall uncomfortable experiences a colleague allegedly had with Chris when Zoe worked at his club in New York City, The Cutting Room. "On the few occasions he would show up, he was consistently sexually inappropriate with a fellow female promoter." Zoe then wrote that when she guest-starred on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," she filmed a scene with Chris as part of his first episode on the show since returning after playing Mr. Big on "Sex and the City," "He was drunk on set," Zoe claimed. "During my interrogation scene he had a 22 oz. of beer under the table that he would drink in between takes. In one take he got close to me, sniffed my neck, and whispered, 'You smell good.'" She said that while her "experiences are small in comparison to the accounts of assault," all women deal with "predation" and "for the most part there is no accountability." One of the many comments on the post came from someone who said implied she had similar experiences dealing with Chris when she worked at Cipriani in New York City. Meanwhile, a 1995 National Enquirer report about Chris has resurfaced. It cites court papers in which supermodel Beverly Johnson allegedly claims Chris "beat" her during their five-year relationship and threatened to disfigure her, kill her and kill her dog after their split.
Angelina Jolie's 16-year-old daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt is following in her mom's humanitarian footsteps. On Dec. 17, Angelina shared photos on Instagram from meetings she and Zahara had with lawmakers this week to discuss ways to improve and reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act. Alongside photos of Angelina and Zahara with Texas House Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, Sen. Lisa Murkowski and one pic from "working session at the Embassy of Tribal Nations," Angelina explained why she and Zahara are pushing for the reforms. "Honored to visit Washington, DC, with Zahara, working with advocates and lawmakers to modernize and strengthen the #ViolenceAgainstWomenAct to include protections for children's health and safety, communities of color, tribes, LGBTQ survivors, rural areas, and all survivors," she wrote. "We need reforms including judicial training, trauma-informed court processes that minimize the risk of harm to children, grant programs for technology to detect bruising across all skin tones and create non-biased forensic evidence collection, and protections for the most vulnerable." A longtime advoate for refugees with the United Nations, Angelina, 46, shares Zahara and five other children with ex, Brad Pitt.

Actress, comedian and general national treasure Betty White turns 100 on Jan. 17 and she wants fans to help her celebrate. The eight-time Emmy winner announced on Twitter this week that in honor of her milestone birthday, she'll be the subject of a one-day movie event that takes viewers inside her daily life. "Betty White: 100 Years Young — A Birthday Celebration" features scenes from the "Golden Girls" alum's work on sets and as an advocate for animals, endangered and otherwise, as well as tidbits related to her friendships with a slew of stars including Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Lin Manuel- Miranda, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman and more. While her impressive and decades-long resume speaks for itself, Betty says in her Twitter announcement she's just "a lucky old broad" who's been "blessed with good health." The movie screens at theaters across the country on Jan. 17 via FathomEvents.
Dolly Parton breaks 3 Guinness World Records
Dolly Parton was feeling "humble" and "grateful" this week after learning she's broken three music-related Guinness World Records, Dolly, 75, was honored on Dec. 16 for becoming the first female artist to stay on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart for seven decades. She also now holds the record for the most No. 1 hits on the same chart for a female artist (25). She rounded out her Guinness hat trick by breaking a record of her own for the most hits on that chart for a female artist (she's now had 109). "This is the kind of stuff that really makes you very humble and very grateful for everything that's happened," Dolly, 75, told the Guinness Records association, according to Today. "I had no idea that I would be in Guinness World Records this many times! I am flattered and honored. I've had a lot of people help me get here. Thanks to all of you and all of them for helping me have all of this. I've loved being able to make a living in the business that I love so much," she continued. "I've been so fortunate to see my dreams come true, and I just hope to continue for as long as I can. You're going to have to knock me down to stop me!" She notched her 50th Grammy Award nomination earlier this year.
Olivia Munn and John Mulaney welcome baby boy: Report
Olivia Munn and John Mulaney have reportedly welcomed their first child together. TMZ reports Olivia, 41, quietly gave birth to a baby boy one day before Thanksgiving. John, 39, was the first to go public with news they were expecting, telling Seth Meyers he was going to be a dad during a candid talk on "Late Night" in September about John's roller coaster year, which included a trip to rehab after Seth and other friends staged an intervention. The comic, who's now sober and working again, said he and Olivia first met at Seth's wedding but started dating this past spring following his split from Anne Marie Tendler. This is the first child for both Olivia and John.
