Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the celebrities who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in mid-September 2021, starting with this former couple… On Sept. 8, People magazine reported that Beck and Marissa Ribisi finalized their divorce five days earlier. The Grammy winner — who filed to legally end their marriage in February 2019 — is set to pay his ex more than $18K per month in spousal support and more than $14K per month in child support. (They'll share custody of their two kids.) He'll also fork over "13% of his income for anything over his annual gross cash flow of $1.74 million and less than $3 million" in spousal support and "an additional 9% of his income for everything over his annual income" in child support. Additionally, he's on the hook for a $500,000 equalization payment to be paid in $21K monthly increments. He's walking away from the marriage with 10 different properties in California, Tennessee and Arkansas, a 2013 Mercedes-Benz, gold coins and more than two dozen works of art including four original Banksy pieces. Marissa, meanwhile, is holding onto a property in California, a 2014 Honda Odyssey minivan, five Banksy pieces and an Andy Warhol painting. According to People, the former couple, who had a prenup, disagreed over their date of separation: She claims they split in February 2019 while he says they threw in the towel in June 2017.

On the Sept. 15 episode of the "Feminine Warrior" podcast, Dean McDermott finally addressed rumors that there's trouble in paradise for him and his wife of 16 years, Tori Spelling. "It's just like, 'OK, if that's what you want to think, then think it,'" he said, adding that the media makes it sound like "we're divorced because they got a picture of Tori without her ring at the farmers market." So why wasn't Tori wearing her wedding ring? "She took it off because she washed her hands and forgot to put it back on," he insisted. As for his mysteriously missing wedding ring, Dean went on to claim that he lost his and decided not to replace it because "everybody's in a titter" over its absence. "So I'm like, 'Forget it, I'm not going to replace it. Just let them think it,'" he explained … somewhat nonsensically. None of his excuses explained why the "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress hasn't posted about her husband on social media since Father's Day 2020 — or why she's taken to specifically excluding him from her family-related posts. On Sept. 9, for example, she posted a slideshow of photos showing off her family's fall décor: personalized Jack-o'-lanterns for herself and the five kids she and Dean share, as well as a pumpkin representing "The McDermott Family." There wasn't a Jack-o'-lantern for Dean, though. Seems like it's only a matter of time before these two throw in the towel…

During an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" that hit the Internet on Sept. 13, Jennifer Aniston called rumors that she and David Schwimmer are dating "bizarre." Said the "Friends" alum, "I could not believe that, actually. Like, really? That's my brother." She added that she understands why people ship them, though: "It just shows you how hopeful people are for fantasies, for dreams to come true." Earlier this year, Jen and David delighted fans when they revealed they had mutual crushes on each other while shooting the iconic sitcom. However, the Emmy-winning actress said during an interview with "PEOPLE (the TV show!)" that hit the Internet on Sept. 13 that she's "sort of hoping" to date someone who "is not necessarily somebody in the industry itself." Said the "Morning Show" star, "That'd be nice."
On the Sept. 6 episode of Mike Johnson and Bryan Abasolo's Bachelor Nation podcast "Talking It Out," Dale Moss said that rumors that he and Clare Crawley secretly eloped are "not accurate." However, he stopped short of saying that he and the former "The Bachelorette" lead aren't married…
On Sep. 10, 2021 — exactly 18 years after they called off their 2004 wedding just four days before they were set to exchange vows — Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez made their rekindled romance red carpet official at the 78th Venice International Film Festival premiere of his movie "The Last Duel" in Italy. It was the first time they'd posed together in an official capacity since they called it quits all those years ago.

Longtime pals Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker — who finally took their relationship to the next level in late 2020 — made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2021 MTV VMAs in New York City on Sept. 12.
Though they've posed together as friends a number of times over the years, it wasn't until the 2021 Met Gala on Sept. 13 that Rihanna and ASAP Rocky finally made their official red carpet debut as a couple. The longtime pals and collaborators faced seemingly endless questions about the nature of their relationship until People magazine finally confirmed in late 2020 that they were, in fact, an item.
On Sept. 14, Jordana Brewster took to Instagram to announce that she and Mason Morfit are engaged. Five days earlier, Deux Moi reported that, according to an anonymous source, the ValueAct Capital CEO recently "told his ex-wife and four children that he proposed" to the "Fast & Furious" franchise star. Jordana's rep also confirmed the engagement news to People magazine. She and Mason were first linked in the summer of 2020 — just days after she filed to divorce her first husband, producer Andrew Form.
Mod Sun and Avril Lavigne made it official at the 2021 MTV VMAs in New York City on Sept. 12 — about seven months after they first sparked romance rumors after growing close while collaborating on their song "Flames" and on Avril's upcoming seventh studio album.
Uzo Aduba took to Instagram on Sept. 12 to reveal that she secretly married filmmaker Robert Sweeting last year. "For some of us, it can feel like we spend our whole lives waiting for our special someone. My heart, my love — I'm so happy my life started last year with you. You're the best thing that ever happened to me," she captioned a selfie from their wedding day after quoting a famous line from "When Harry Met Sally" — "When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible." It's unclear how long they've been an item or when they got engaged.
On Sept. 11, Us Weekly broke the news that, according to a source, Anne Heche and skincare guru Peter Thomas Roth "have been dating for about eight weeks" since meeting through mutual friends in the Hamptons. The pair have been seen together several times since late August, though it wasn't immediately clear they were anything more than friends. It's unclear when the actress and her last beau, Thomas Jane, called it quits.
Is G-Eazy secretly engaged? Or just continuing to play the field? On Sept. 8, the rapper-actor was snapped packing on the PDA with a pretty brunette during a dinner date in New York City. Five days later, Deux Moi reported that, according to an anonymous source, the rapper-actor was overheard calling "some blonde girl with short hair" his fiancée at a restaurant in San Francisco on Sept. 3. The anonymous source claimed that G-Eazy said "they had just gotten engaged" and that the mystery blonde "had a huge rock."
During an interview with People magazine that hit the Internet on Sept. 15, Lindsey Buckingham said that he and his wife of more than two decades — Kristen Messner, who filed to legally end their marriage in June — are working on their relationship and putting their divorce on hold: "Relationships in the long term can be challenging, and they have their ups and downs. You've got to take that ride and be willing to take it," he said. "I think a lot of relationships were somewhat tested by the lockdown. … Over the last year Kristen felt she needed some time to herself, and I have been completely supportive of that. Before this all went down, I was not aware that many people file for divorce and then choose not to follow through. … Kristen and I agree that is the best course to follow, focusing instead on working on our relationship." Continued the rocker, "Love with someone is initially built on a set of illusions and probably continues to exist with those illusions to some degree. I think part of having a long-term relationship is accepting that you're never going to really know everything about another person and that you've got to concentrate on the things that bring you together and that define you as a single entity and try to let go of some of the other things. We came out the other end with some stuff to sort out."
On Sept. 12, Duchess Kate's little brother, James Middleton, took to Instagram to announce that he and Alizee Thevenet tied the knot in France. "Mr & Mrs Middleton. Yesterday I married the love of my life surrounded by family, friends and of course a few dogs in the beautiful village or Bormes-les-Mimosas. Words cannot describe how happy I am," he captioned a selfie with his new wife on their wedding day. According to Page Six, the guest list included Kate and her husband, Prince William, as well as their three kids: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Middle child Pippa Middleton and her husband, James Matthews, also attended with their kids, Arthur and Grace. James and Alizee, a French financial analyst, got engaged in late 2019 and were forced to postpone their original wedding plans (for the summer of 2020) amid the coronavirus pandemic.
On Sept. 10, "Teen Mom 2" star Leah Messer took to Instagram to share a sweet shot of herself snuggling a mystery man in Charleston, West Virginia. Two days later, she identified him as U.S. Army officer Jaylan Mobley, captioning a slideshow of PDA-packed photos, "We happy — that's all!" She later told "Entertainment Tonight" that they've been dating since February but have only been "official" for about a month — and he's already met her three daughters. "When Jaylan started checking all the boxes and characteristics that I had been looking for in a partner, I won't even lie, I was taken aback. He's so compassionate, caring, patient, kind, thoughtful, has a great sense of humor, is adventurous, and loves kids. I swore he wasn't real!" she gushed to "ET." Continued the reality star, "I'm happy I met Jaylan, and you better believe I want to show off the love and chemistry that we share together. It's beautiful!" She added of his relationship with her girls, "Jaylan is such a great person and I know he'll be such a positive influence in my daughters' lives. They love him, and that's what I needed to know before introducing them all. … I've honestly never been so excited to see where something like this will go."
Lewis Hamilton was snapped sharing a ride with Instagram model Janet Guzman back to his hotel following a Met Gala afterparty in New York City in the wee hours of Sept. 14. (See photos here.) The hangout fueled rumors that they're an item. However, The Sun reported the following day that, according to their sources, the British racing star and the American beauty were part of a larger group that went back to the hotel to keep the party going. The British tabloid adds that Lewis and Janet "are understood to be close friends." Recently, he's also been linked to another model who's been described as a close friend: Tyler Cameron's ex-girlfriend, Camila Kendra.

According to a source, she dumped him because once they returned to the "real world," he would go to clubs "almost every night with random girls." He also reportedly told fellow "Love Island" star Cashay Proudfoot that he missed her and regretted choosing Alana over her. Ouch!

They'll reportedly share joint custody of their two kids. Neither will collect spousal support or child support from the other.
On the Sept. 9 episode of Heather McDonald's "Juicy Scoop" podcast, Joe Francis revealed that he and Kourtney Kardashian hooked up for the first time back in 2004 when he and Kimberly Stewart were still an item. (He "had a lot more chemistry" with Kourtney than with Kimberly, he said.) In fact, he hooked up with them both on the same trip to Mexico, he claimed, adding that it was the same trip during which Kourtney met Scott Disick for the first time. (According to Joe, the reality star initially hated her future long-term partner.) Kourtney and Joe "did continue to date on and off after that," he said. Of course, she and Scott were an item off and on for a decade: from 2005 to 2015.
