The PatBo gown that Camila Cabello donned during the 2023 Grammys certainly drew stares thanks to its top half! The hand-beaded bodice took 40 hours to construct and, according to an official press release, was crafted by "Brazilian artisans, who learned their art at Patricia Bonaldi's tuition-free sewing and embroidery school for empowerment and employment of women from her hometown of Uberlandia."

In 2017, Camila sported one of her more bizarre looks ever. At BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards, the former Fifth Harmony member wore this ensemble from Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini that consisted of a ruffles-and-lace blouse and white leather pants and added a black-brimmed hat and white boots. While we give her props for color coordination, this ensemble ultimately failed to impress.

This model-off-duty look that Camila Cabello wore during London Fashion Week in 2018 was a winner. While roaming England's capital, the "Señorita" songstress donned a chic tan leather coat by Givenchy, which she paired with a white blouse, distressed denim and pointed heels. A detail we loved? The matching chunky tan belt!

Unfortunately, not every look can be a hit. Take, for example, this peculiar-looking confection Camila Cabello wore with over-the-knee boots for the Los Angeles premiere of "Cinderella" in August 2021. While the sparkling high-low gown by Oscar de la Renta — which featured an intricately embroidered silver bodice and puffy black skirt — might have been cute in theory, it missed the mark in execution.

But the ensemble that Camila Cabello wore for another "Cinderella" premiere — the one in her Miami hometown in September 2021 — was a different story. The singer-actress looked beautiful, youthful and playful in an enormous yellow tulle skirt by Christian Siriano that she paired with a casual white sleeveless crop top by x karla. The only thing we didn't like? That piece of curled hair glued to her forehead.

At the 2018 MTV EMAs, Camila Cabello not only took home four awards (best artist, best video, best song and best U.S. act) — she also looked like a sartorial dream! That evening, the "Havana" hitmaker wore this red floor-length gown by Alex Perry that featured a flattering boned bodice. To let the dress shine, Camila opted for simple jewelry — a pair of diamond hoop earrings, a cuff and bangles by Norman Silverman. 2018, however, wasn't without its misses…

At the 38th Annual BRIT Awards in 2018, Camilla Cabello sported this chiffon gown by Ralph & Russo. Don't get us wrong, we adore the powder blue color on her, but there were a few elements that caught us off guard — like the keyhole cut-out, the ruffled waistline and that criss-cross neckline. We were, however, fans of her De Beers jewelry!

A major "yes" from us! At Paris Fashion Week in September 2019, Camila Cabello made her runway debut in the Le Défilé L'Oréal Paris show in this chic and sultry pantsuit paired with a thin black tie — sans shirt! From her straightened locks to her simple gold hoops, this "Shameless" singer looked gorgeous.
_
Talk about redemption! At the 18th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in 2017, Camila Cabello looked like an ethereal dream. The "Don't Go Yet" singer hit the red carpet in a watercolor confection by Monique Lhuillier that featured a plunging neckline and a pink tie around the waist. The voluminous tulle skirt and tulle shoulders made her look as though she'd come straight from a fairytale!

Just when we thought we had Camila Cabello's style pegged, she threw us for a loop. At the Global Awards in 2020, the Grammy winner wore this ensemble from Dolce & Gabbana's Fall 2020 collection. While we appreciate the rose embellishments and the figure-flattering corset, the long shirttails looked messy and her miniskirt was too short.

When she hits the mark, she really hits it! At the 2020 Grammy Awards, Camila Cabello arrived on the red carpet in this seductive, gothic-inspired high-low confection with a sheer black lace bodice and a voluminous skirt that opened in the front. The dress from Atelier Versace's Fall 2019 collection did not disappoint — we loved its dramatic appeal. The icing on top was the nearly 1,000 carats of Le Vian diamonds she added with her accessories.

At the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, Camila Cabello opted for this lackluster Givenchy frock. From its crisp black bodice to its layered white fringe skirt, it seemed like an amalgamation of two disparate gowns.
_
For the 2019 Elle Women in Music event in New York City, Camila Cabello looked picnic-ready — and we wish we could've joined her! The Cuban American beauty attended the event in this black-and-white gingham minidress by Rasario. We love how she went for little to no jewels and minimalist sandals by Aquazzura, making for a simple yet sweet summertime look.

While red has proven to be a flattering color on Camila Cabello, there's something amiss about this strapless Vivienne Westwood gown she wore to the 2018 Grammy Awards. The "Cinderella" star certainly turned heads in the silk frock, but it felt more dated than timeless to us.
_
Camila Cabello in plush velvet? We're here for it! For 2019's Save the Children's Centennial Gala in New York City, the "Familia" singer opted for a sultry strapless gown with a killer peekaboo panel on the bodice from Tom Ford's Fall 2019 collection.
_
During a visit to London in 2019, Camila Cabello was seen walking around the city in this black-and-white polka-dot minidress from sustainable couture brand Ronald van der Kemp. Don't get us wrong — Camila looked impressively chic — but the look felt a tad busy with the "PERFECT" belt, grommet-embellished heels and newsboy cap.

In 2018, Camila Cabello looked cute and cozy when she visited the SiriusXM Studios in New York City wearing a ribbed white turtleneck, light-wash denim and white boots. We absolutely loved the coordinating white pieces and the statement chain belt.
_
It's a "no" from us. Camila Cabello was seen on the streets of London in 2017 in this… rather peculiar ensemble that consisted of stripes, awkwardly placed ruffles and — you guessed it! — a newsboy cap. There was far too much going on here, making us wish she'd narrowed it down to one bold element.
_
At the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscars Party, Camila Cabello channeled her inner princess in this romantic confection by Monique Lhuillier. She opted for one of her favorite silhouettes — a voluminous ballgown-style skirt — embellished in black-and-white lace.
_
Sure, there's no disputing how incredible Camila Cabello's figure looked in this white garment by Balmain that she wore to the 2019 MTV VMAs. But if you ask us, this dress was pretty bizarre. It felt reminiscent of a swimsuit and wrap rather than a cohesive gown.
_
At the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019, Camila Cabello made a beautifully bold statement in this sparkly, slinky long-sleeved gown by Armani Prive. The sexy magenta frock — which featured an open back and a high neckline — was one of our favorite looks on the red carpet that year.
_
The Oscar de la Renta dress that Camila Cabello wore to the 47th Annual American Music Awards in 2019 had all the makings of a standout red carpet look, yet it somehow fell short. We loved the bustier bodice and intricate embroidery, but coupled with the high-low silhouette and neutral hue, the frock failed to make a lasting impression.
